I lived at Tenley View for a little over two years while going to law school at American University.
Everything about the apartment and the building was great. The building was quiet and clean, the apartment was nice with new appliances, and all my maintenance requests (usually for little things like light bulbs that needed replacing) were resolved quickly and without any hassle.
The building manager, Johana, was especially attentive to all my needs, she always answered my questions promptly, and was super friendly whenever we interacted.
I couldnt recommend living here enough. Its a great place.

Even though Borger properties has a terrible reputation thanks to their upper management staff who are angry at the world, Tenly View is the one exception! This place wouldn't run the way it does without the building manager Johana, a true rockstar who unlike her superiors, pays attention to the details. While some people argue the building lacks adequate staff, she is on it 24/7 and always with a smile. She and her team at Tenly view have also put on two buffets and decorated the place with Christmas vibes all within the past month, very impressive. THANK YOU AJ AND JOHANA

Update from my previous review: Washer and dryer issues have been resolved for the latter half of our stay which is much appreciated! Fire alarm occurrences are luckily most commonly in the afternoon and it seems as though some of these may be due to the other businesses below, but our stay here has been an overall plesant experience. Johana is a very responsive Community Manager and is an asset to Tenley View.
Great location and wonderful office manager.
