The location is great, and that's it.
Maintenance issues often take a while to fix, unless they're an emergency on a weekday. (There doesn't seem to be weekend maintenance, so even when my toilet was basically flooding every time I flushed and couldn't be unclogged with a plunger, I had to wait three days to get that fixed.) It took MONTHS to get my garbage disposal fixed; they kept saying it was stuff I put in, even though I rarely used it and it broke every time. It had to start leaking under my sink to get a new one.
And don't get me started on pest control. I understand that, especially in the summer, bugs are a thing. Under the old management, there was regular pest control as well as spot control as requested. Since the new management took over, I can't even remember the last time we had a base spray, and I've requested several times for my apartment to be sprayed and I've been ignored. For the past week, I've found several roaches in my apartment almost every night, and I'm getting to the point where I'm going to Wal-Mart to get something myself even though it's their responsibility in the lease. To make matters worse, I have a severe phobia of bugs, and I've told them that before, and still I have to wake up to roaches crawling across my living room floor.
I'm due to move out at the end of the month but I'm honestly looking into calling my moving company to see how soon they can fit me in the schedule. Don't move here. There are plenty of places nearby that will treat you better.
