The parking situation here is AWFUL! I have been told my Park West front desk staff that there are only enough parking spaces for less than 85% of the PW residents. Trying to find a parking space is a disaster, and I often have to park on the opposite side of the complex. Ive seen several cars parked halfway up on curbs, in the grass, along fire lanes, etc. I should have a place to park at my OWN apartment complex. This is ridiculous! After calling the front desk for an update on the situation, and to see what they might be doing to solve this issue, they have said that they cannot help me and that I was not guaranteed a place to park when I signed my lease. This is my second year living at Park West. Would NOT recommend!

This place was great when it wasn't at full capacity now that it is at full capacity everything is crowded and they are not very accommodating. There is no parking, people are having to park on the grass and curbs. They do not have a constant cleaning staff daily like they should for a place this big. There is always dog poop in the hallways and throw up sometimes. It will take them a few years to work out the kinks of being at full capacity until this place is desirable.

I just moved in here in August, and when my roommate and I moved in, the apartment was NOT move in ready. We turned on the ceiling fan in our living room and water starting coming out of it which couldve literally started a fire. When we called about it, a maintenance guy showed up, left for lunch and promised he would be right back, but never came back. It took days later for someone to finally come fix it. This was after calling and calling and calling. Also upon move in, half of the outlets didnt work and half of the electricity didnt work either. Parking is an absolute nightmare. If I didnt have a broken foot and be allowed to have a handicap spot, I would be completely screwed. Tonight my roommate and I noticed our floor peeling up and we havent even been here FOR A MONTH. I wish I hadnt ever signed here & I wish the management was more helpful & understanding to these issues. This is what happens when you rush a place to get built just for the money!!! Do not live here. They pull you in with the rooftop pool. Other places have that now. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

They charge for garage parking even though they dont accommodate residents with enough parking in the lot. My water has smelled like rotten eggs ever since I moved in and theyve been lying to me saying if I just run the hot water itll go away. I have ran the hot water on all faucets for a total of 94 hours now even though on move-in day they said 30 minutes to an hour should do it. And after calling the office they said just run it overnight. ITS NOT WORKING. This needs to be fixed now.

This is my third year at Park West. Over the years I have noticed that management getting worse and worse adapting to Park West reaching full capacity. Park West is at full capacity and the inability to adapt has really shown here. Parking here is atrocious, I look out the window and I see at least six cars parked illegally because there isnt enough spaces. If you leave after 5 PM, you'll spend at least 15 minutes looking for a spot. How no one from management looks out the window and doesn't notice this problem baffles me. They still insist on charging for garage parking when people are parking illegally because there isnt any other spots to park at. The parking here is so bad that I would give Park West a four star rating if the parking wasn't such a terrible issue. Until Park West fixes their parking this review will solidly stay at an one.

Parking is HORRIBLE! I've been living here for a year and this is my second year living here. Last year it was great becasue not all of the buildings were opened, which meant a lot more parking. However, they just opened all of the buildings for rent and now there's way too many people living here and not enough parking space. If you want to leave after 4 pm, forget it because you will not find parking when you get back. I've came home late a few times (10pm) and I have to circle the parking lot until someone leaves and that can take at least 30 minutes. People are running around the parking lot trying to save a spot for another person also looking for a spot. It is just ridiculous! They clearly did not think about parking when they decided to build this place.

My next door neighbors TV is audible everyday in my room and cant ignore it. Cant study in my room for that reason or sleep well. When I moved in the dishwasher stopped working after 4 uses, and maintainance hasnt fixed it (over a month). Paint stains all over the place. Blinds and lock to my bedroom were not properly installed when I arrived. Received the wrong keys twice when I moved in. Overall, not worth staying here, dont recommend. Not to mention how dirty the stairs are all the time... too many issues

The janitorial/custodial staff is the only good thing about this place. -I would probably spend less time waiting for packages if I had them sent to my parents house in Pflugerville, drove to Pflugerville, picked them up, and drove back to College Station. -We fondly refer to the elevator by my room as "Death Trap" - Residents are being dropped numerous floors and having the door open up to half-where it should and half-the wall around it. Get this though..THE ELEVATOR IS STILL AVAILABLE FOR USE. -One thing that isn't for use..the WiFi. Oh boy. "Student living" yet 4/5 of the time no WiFi. Residents are told to call the provider. After so many times of saying that to residents does one realize the provider should be fired?? -The "3 state-of-the-art fitness centers" mentioned online is a joke. How was a squat rack not a higher priority? Half the free weights are MIA. Water machines for your bottles yet no water fountains or cups?? -Courtyards are basically swamps because of how over-watered they are. -Last but not least, the lack of pantry. How is an apartment with four people supposed to work with no pantry?? Don't move to Park West. You'll regret it.

Felt like I signed a lease to a utopian society, it was like I was in the get out movie, the apartment seemed too good to be true. Every building looks the exact same. No speed bumps in the parking lot so everyone's driving like they're in fast and furious. Top floor of the Tower is insanely nice, best looking spot in college station imo. Walls are very thin u can hear your neighbors easily. The fire alarms go off extremely easily, went off every time I toasted bread. Worst part about the apartment though is the staff. Leasing manager never responds to emails and calls because he's "sick" every day he doesn't want to work. I know he's not actually sick because if you ask the students working at the leasing center something that only the manager can answer they'll go into his office for a while and then all they have to say is "he's sick but here's his card I would email him". I had to email the manager's manager after trying to contact the manager 3 times a week for 3 weeks in order for him to finally respond and take care of my leasing details. There's an awesome shortcut to McDonald's but besides that you could always get stuck on Holleman trying to get anywhere else thanks to the train and traffic. The hillside gyms are way worse than the tower's. Internet was pretty fast. The design of the apartment layouts themselves are really nice, they look like the model rooms in Ikea and on TV. Trash rooms is an awesome feature as well as study rooms and game rooms.

I will start to move in from Fall. The place is incredibly amazing and beautiful, and I cannot wait to move in. However, some of the staff are very irresponsible and difficult to talk to. I signed my lease very early last year, and I was assigned a room that time, but it seems that no one remembered this except me myself. The staff who signed the lease with me is avoiding all responsibilities and replied me some non-sense emails. Hope this will be improved to make this place more pleasant.

Out of all the places I've lived as a college student this has been my favorite and the most affordable! I was worried how move in would be but they handled everything as organized as they could. They let us come in the garage and provided dollies for us to use. My favorite part about living here is the staff. While renewing my lease, I missed the model that I wanted. Staff here gave me options of other models and guided me through the whole process. The Starbucks staff is also great! They always provide specials and always make sure that the customer is satisfied. The convenient store downstairs is also great during emergencies especially when sick. They have everything you need when you really can't go anywhere else. Another thing that I loved about living here is the multiple bus stops. This allowed me to get to my classes faster instead of taking one bus to main campus and then another one to west campus. At night when the busses start running every hour, it also gave me several options to get home. If bus 36 would take 45 minutes to get to trigon, I just went to 35 where it would only take 15 minutes. Another thing that I love about the location is the fact that I can avoid game day traffic and just walk to the games. Cons: -Due to the fact that it is a huge building fire alarms can be annoying. If one person pulls it then it goes off in the whole building. -Another thing that I really don't like is the garage. I believe that there needs to be improvement on the flow of traffic inside the garage and make it a one way. There have been several incidents where I have almost been hit by people who enter the wrong way or that are turning the corner really fast without keeping in mind people walking or driving. Overall I love this place and would recommend to anyone!

Trust me when I say that this place is only good for it's looks. Everything that they advertise that's "good" really isn't. Fully furnished - the beds will give you back pain, and not just for a few weeks till you get used to it. It gives you back pain that will make you need to spend hundreds of dollars at the chiropractor and getting massages. Not the best thing to be dealing with while trying to study. I know what you're thinking, "I'll just by a mattress pad!" nope, doesn't help. I bought an expensive one too! I've had to stay the night at friends houses a lot this year, and honestly it's really annoying. Oh and the furniture that is in the living rooms is hard as rock, none of my roommates even go into the living room because of it. Gym - there isn't enough machines, and it's really small. You should just go to the rec on campus or go to any other gym. High speed internet - Ha that's funny! You don't get any signal in parts of the hallways, elevators, parking garage, and most of the first floor. I cannot tell you how many times I was on the phone with someone and I was just walking in the hallways and the call dropped. Oh and the wifi didn't work for like a week last semester, not good when you are trying to take a quiz online. Rooftop pool - out of the 12 month lease you will probably only be able to use it for 4 months. And don't even think about trying to use the hot tub up their when it gets cold. It only worked 2 weeks out of the 6 months of cold. Printing stations - takes around 20-30 minutes for it to work. The ink runs out a lot, it would just be better to pay for it on campus or at copy corner. Showers - there isn't enough of an incline so have to get on the ground and push the water down the drain. So when you try and turn off the shower, the water continues to come out. You have to turn it to a specific angle or it will randomly turn on. Really ghetto. Outdoor community spaces - no one uses them because the furniture is uncomfortable and the sand volleyball courts are really hard. Overall, don't trust the photos, most of them were really edited and it isn't as good as it tries to make it out to be. Ya it's cheap, but there is a reason why and not because they are trying to fill up beds. I know at least a dozen people that live here and not one, not ONE, person is staying here.

The bed and couch are super hard. The staff is unprofessional. There is dog poop and pee in the stairs and hallways and is cleaned up sometimes 3 days later even though no dogs are allowed in the building I live in. Overall I wouldn't recommend living here. Not worth the fight.

Inside the Tower is pretty nice they usally keep it clean and stuff. my apartment feels very cheap tho. Cheap appliances that break often. VERY cheap and uncomfortable furniture, almost unusable. Does NOT come with a Tv either. Management is somewhat responsive. The people working the front desk are typically in a good mood and professional.

The buildings are pretty new, they have a wide variety of amenities, and the rent is cheap but the management are just terrible and the rest of the staff as a result has no idea whats going on. I lived at Park West for 3 months over the summer and during that short time, the staff gave me the wrong key two times in a row, they repeatedly lost my packages, the wifi was out daily, I heard the managers cussing loudly at the much younger employees, and the online rent balance was so messed up you had no way of telling if you had paid rent or not. Do you think that stopped the managers from applying late fees? Of course not. They keep awful records and will blame you for their mistakes. The managers and staff are totally unprofessional and you can tell the culture of terrible service starts at the top. Worst management in College Station.

Not a bad place to live, however, like most people on their reviews, the staff can be considered lackluster. I told the leasing manager that I was graduating in December, and yet, he failed to note that on my lease, and now I currently have a late rent fee, and it looks like I will still have to pay the fee, which is absurd. Also, on their lease, they tell you if you graduate early, you have to pay a cancelling fee, plus another 30% of the remaining lease. This also applied for if someone were to lose an immediate family member, which is very appalling. Loved staying here, for what it is worth, but front office staff could be much better if communication was clear and concise. Also forgot to mention, I have a friend who also graduated and lived at Park West, and was not required to pay the extra fees as mentioned above.

If you're going to live here, buy an ethernet cable. I couldn't write this review without a wired connection. As a student, reliable connection is important for online assignments.

Hmm, where do I even start. I moved here to live in the flats before the tower was even built. The CAs are nice but the management is not. There was an instance where I dropped off a money order to pay for rent and Caleb (manager) wasted my entire day telling me it bounced back, where in fact they had already cashed my money order but messed up their records. The WiFi is absolutely horrible. Its always down and when its up it is extremely slow. Package pick up time is very inconvenient. And for some reason they have people at the desk past their business hours but cant give out packages (doesnt make sense). The furniture is cheap and very uncomfortable. The furniture selection looks like they rolled dice and choose random things to throw in the room.

I'm not sure where to start. Due to low rates, there are so many sketchy people in this place smoking weed, partying every other night until dawn! The tower building echoes so bad if somebody plays loud music everybody listens to them. The furniture in the living room is really cheap and uncomfortable, and there are not enough drawers neither in the room nor in the bathroom. Moreover, they do not do anything to fix their problems. It is 2AM and I cant sleep because of loud music yet again, even though I called the office twice. So far, everything is way below my expectations! Definitely not living here next year. The problems you may face here are in general: 1) There are not enough staff members for that many people living in this place, and some of them are so unexperienced that they don't know how to handle basic problems. They don't know how to do their job and don't like getting up from their desk. 2) Noise, noise, noise every other night. Buy sleeping ear-buds or get insomnia. If you value sleep and/or sanity, don't stay here. 3) No printing\computer room. 4) Elevators in the tower are down frequently, so I have to walk up and down six flights of stairs. 5) Randomly beeping fire alarms all over the place and sometimes they don't stop for half-an hour, even though there is nothing at all. In the first month, these fire alarms were beeping at least 10 times. They are extremely loud and we were forced to go stand outside during Hurricane Harvey. You may end up going crazy. 6) Constant weed smell on elevators and halls at night. Pool is always full of sketchy, drunk, and loud people; you can't even go there to enjoy your day. The hot tub was also broken for at least the first two months. 7) They do not care about complaints at all, I am calling office every weekend at least twice and nothing changes about noise. 8) They were doing hall events (twice a month). Within 3 months of moving, they decided to stop doing hall events. 9) Even though there are office members working 24-hours, you can't pick up your package after regular office hours (5PM). 10) Once our keys stopped working and we couldn't even enter the building and they never let us know that you might need to update your keys within the first 40 days. We called the office to be let in and they refused, saying it wasn't their fault we were locked out. Also when they first opened the trash rooms, there was no handle from the inside. I heard of multiple people getting locked in the trash room for almost an hour. 11) There are only two drawers in your whole room, including the bathroom. In the bathroom there is not enough room to put your stuff and the sink is so big that you barely can put your things on the sink. 12) The WIFI is either down or extremely slow so that it doesn't load anything most of the time and there is no change even though there are so many complaints. 13) The office-members are sometimes really rude and unprofessional. For example, one day they sent an email out to the whole complex saying "Howdy, geeks". The office then had to send out an apology email following this. Whenever I have a problem and the staff member doesn't know how to solve it, they just ignore it. I was really amazed with the place when I took a tour, but it is so sad to see that such a nice place has been ruined by unorganized and unprofessional staff members. I still keep my hope that place can be way better. The gym and facilities are really nice here, but there is nothing else.

Living at Park West is awesome! The pool and gym are great. The views are beautiful. The parking is plentiful. The only problems I have encountered are -the time blocks you're allowed to pick up packages aren't accommodating for students (this is student living) -the gate entrance and garage gate have been broken for 1+ month and haven't been fixed -the elevator walls and floors constantly have sunscreen, beer and food crumbs -the 4x4 my boyfriend is in is absolutely spacious and amazing but the 4x2 I'm in doesn't have a pantry. I have to keep my food in my closet to ensure we have enough space and had to bring in a cart so we had room for Tupperware! Park West is definitely a place I would recommend because those problems listed above really don't effect you on a day to day basis. Come take a tour and check out the place!

Shocking to come back to it more than a month later in the exact same situation. From what I hear, it was never fixed. The pool lights also didn't appear to work as they did on the first day. Could not get ahold of anyone to take care of payment issues as well. The flooring in her apartment also had gaps between it and the wall. Felt really humid in the halls.

After a month of living here, I can confidently say this place fails to live up to expectations. People smoke constantly in halls, the pool deck, and by bad timing and similar school schedule I guess, I am always filled with a fresh breeze of cigarette smoke every time I come home from class and step into the elevator. The hot tub has NOT WORKED A SINGLE TIME since the place first opened and their reply is "we are waiting on the part". I go to their other building to use theirs instead only to find the same problem. It seems like they don't have skilled enough workers to fix these things, so it just stays as is. There are also an extreme lack of community events. It's a large living building with very little ways to actually meet other people. They've had only one poorly planned event (a pool party) and it was cut short by bad weather. I have met my RA only once and they gave no contact info. They apparently set up a groupme, but only with my wing and floor (it was about 12 people). There are supposedly 1700 students living here. This is the only apartment complex I have been to that does almost nothing for their residents. NOT a great place to live if you want to meet friends. Garage parking is something I am paying for, but their gate is ALWAYS open. To be honest, you don't need to really pay. You just drive in. It's kind of screwing the people paying over, so I recommend getting the free option and just driving in. My floor is always full with people with no park west sticker. Packages are also a nightmare here. Workers are present at the front almost all day, but once 5pm comes around, they refuse package pickup. I was picking up a package one day, only to be told I had to come back the next day because they haven't logged the packages yet. I saw the box with my name on it right on the floor but they refused to give it to me. I came back the next day and they said they couldn't find it. If you depend on timely shipments and need your stuff, do not ship it here. Ship it to a friends, its' faster. At 5pm, the same employee who got the package for you a few minutes earlier, pulls out his phone, sits back, and tells you to come the next day. He then sits there for hours later. It makes no sense why employees are at the front but refuse after 5. There are also RA's here, which is weird, they get free rent, but do almost absolutely nothing. Cigarette smoke is coming in from the next room, people are playing loud music at 3am, something is leaking, theyre no where to be found. If you call the front desk after a certain time, you get the answering service, which can't contact anyone actually on site until the next day. You just have to deal with it and hope it doesn't happen anytime soon. Every time my roommates have submitted a maintenance request, they just close the work order with no details on why. Any time I try to call the front, I'm screened and am told the managers are in a meeting. You will not be able to speak to them and let them know what's wrong unless your parents call up. The CA's/RA's are also extremely unaware here. Most useful questions I ask are met with 'i dont know'. There was a girly sounding guy working one time who was commenting on something I was wearing as well. It wasn't flattering. I avoid going to the front when he's working because he's just on his phone or working on school every time he comes to work. There are 1 or 2 good workers, but most seems just like warm bodies, with no real job experience. It seems weird that they get free rent and do absolutely nothing. Before signing, they promised so much, but never delivered. It seems like the place said what they needed to get leases, then once signed, separate themselves from the residents so that they can take everyday at work easily. They are going to have a hard time filling up if this continues. Start hosting fun events, fix your hot tub, enforce your rules, allow later package pickup, and hire more skilled employees!!! Start caring about the residents who pay you!

I don't even know where to start with this place. The amenities are great, but this place is honestly just a glorified dorm. There are floor meetings with RAs which is something apartment buildings should never, ever do. The WiFi is absolutely atrocious, and I mean horrible. People have been calling forever to get it fixed but everything is ignored. The guest parking is only 30 minutes long, who in the world has someone over for only 30 minutes? Also the parking garage is completely open, the gate straight up doesn't work. So I have no way of feeling safe. Also, the fire alarms are extremely sensitive and go off extremely frequently. You can't use a toaster without having it go off, and this man likes his toast. I will definitely give the place.the stars it deserves once the issues are fixed, for now the one star review is all this place should get.

Until the financial staff was extremely inconsiderate .. there were no notifications on the homepage for payment whatsoever before payment was due, residents got penalized for late fee when there was a glitch on the home page. The internet was slow last week and some of the rooms countered water leakage.
