In August, the Matthews Alice! festival, about 10 miles from Charlotte, has nearly 200,000 guests show up to listen all kinds of live music, engage in arts and crafts, and donate to a good cause. First Night is the annual New Year’s Eve celebration full of art, culture, magicians, and more.
