I have lived in this complex for about 3 years. The neighborhood is very safe and generally quiet. The office staff is very friendly and accommodating. They even opened up a dog park on site!! Dont overlook this gem!

Stay away if you like your wallet and your health
We decided to leave the place and gave them ample time as their policy stipulated. 3 days into the final month the skinny lady in the office stated " You can leave now if you want just pay for the three days and everything is ok ".Little do I know they brought a new tenant and sent us a bill for the entire month ".Very wicked. Please Please be care ful should you decide to leave. The place is full of large bugs/insects .One positive note the maintenance people are superb.

I've lived here for almost two years. I have a one bedroom loft apartment. Yes, they could use some upgrades but rent is reasonable, apartments are spacious, and the area is fantastic and safe.
Maintenance is swift to respond. Usually within 24hrs for routine maintenance.
I don't hear my neighbors, which is a giant plus for apartment living. Staff is friendly.
I do but understand the one star ratings at all.

This is THE most worst place to live in. Period. The service here is awful and terrible. The pools are laughably pathetic and disgusting. They're like cesspools of germs and filth. We have an apartment with a broken window and that hasn't been fixed since we moved. Do yourself a favor. Tell your friends and family to stay away from Randolph Park Apartments. It is not worth a dime of your time.

I wouldn't recommend these apartments to my worst enemy. Moved in as a last minute resort because the lease was ending on our previous apartment and we had to find somewhere fast. The apartments are big but very poorly maintained. all the drains were clogged at move-in so we had to get Draino to unclog everything, the shower in the master bathroom was disgusting. and there were several other things we had to clean at move in. Light bulbs in the bathrooms were burnt out. There were bug issues, and no matter how many times we had the place treated, it didn't go away. Whenever we needed maintenance it took forever, then when they finally got around to it, it was only half-way fixed. Things broke all the time, the cabinets in the kitchen were falling apart. And the light outside was almost always burnt out so you couldn't see to unlock your door at night. At move-out we cleaned everything in the apartment, had it looking a lot better than it did when we moved in. The only thing we left was the stove-top drip pans because we were told it would only be $4 a piece for that. After moving out we received a letter saying we owed for this and that, because we "didn't clean", and they "had to replace ALL the carpet in the apartment". The price for renting the apartments is way too high for what you get, simply not worth it. the ONLY thing good about them is where they are located.
