I lived here two years ago in a 3-bedroom apartment with two roommates, and while theyre certainly not the fanciest apartments you can get, they were some the best value living spaces for what you get from what I remember when I did live there. Yeah it looks old-fashioned, but its generally well kept and is livable for anyone who just needs a functional living space. The amenities (I.e gym in the leasing office, courtyard, volleyball courts, playground) were all very nice, though the parking lot could be repaved at some point. Otherwise good place to live.

Beau Jardin Apartments are one of the most best student friendly apartment. Even though its unfurnished, it is located near both grocery stores and fast food joints. It is well connected with campus with 2 bus lines 10 and 1B within 5-10 mins.

Connected to Purdue through the Citybus, and supermarkets, banks, post office, FedEx, BMV Office and restaurants nearby, Beau Jardin has a very good location....

Other than that, there is nothing to recommend Beau Jardin for. Money - minded, greedy and insensitive management; muggy and damp apartments with bathrooms having chronic problems of mildew; basement apartment has clogging problem in the kitchen sink practically every other day.The entire building complex is very old and cries for repairs. The carpets are never changed or cleaned because they tell residents to sublease their apartments if they have to vacate before their term finishes in order to escape paying for the remaining months. Security is never refunded on pretext of getting the apartment cleaned even though one cleans it thoroughly to not get fined going by the list of mandatory cleaning instructions. Who will not clean it very nicely being well aware of the fact that it will be a bad reflection on you and also to get back your security? Isn't it their responsibility to get the place professionally cleaned before they lease it to a new resident? They play clever by telling you that your security was used on cleaning whereas they reap the benefit both ways.The only saving grace is Jeff and his maintenance staff.
