Midtown - Levy Park Neighborhood Summary

Though Levy Park and Midtown are two separate areas, they sit just across Lake Ella from one another and both have very similar cultures. Levy Park is located a few minutes north of FSU, wedged between North Monroe Street and Gibbs Drive. Midtown sits between Thomasville Road and Monroe Street, with Betton Road bordering to the north and Third Avenue bordering to the south. They are both diverse and serene neighborhoods. Though both areas are largely residential, that certainly doesn’t mean there is nothing to do. In fact, Midtown boasts a highly walkable restaurant and nightlife area, attracting a more mature crowd than the student hangouts near Downtown. Residents love to enjoy walks along Lake Ella or in The Crest at Levy Park. They’re known for being a wholesome community that is interested in family and friends, and are committed to being friendly to your neighbors. Both Levy Park and Midtown are fantastic neighborhood options for graduate students looking to escape from student housing or young professionals looking to blend in with locals without getting too far from Downtown.
