Ive literally never had a bad experience here! Not only do they have safe, clean, large homes at great prices but Mr.Jackson and group go above and beyond to provide a great experience for all the tenants. In a time where most landlords dont care Jackson Properties has free cookouts and deals for residents. Really cant ask for much more. Id be willing to bet many negative reviews are from people not paying rent or political opponents so take them with a grain of salt as they say.

I was calling just for an inquiry in their properties and upon calling Nikki answered at at fest sounded really kind as soon as i mentioned i had an ERS animal, she was less willing to help. Afterwards she said Id have to fill out some paperwork (which was no peoblem) I had asked if she can still send me some properties to look at and she sounded like she wasnt going to but said she would anyways. Once we hung up she emailed me that she would not send me the houses because of my animal and when i called to ask why she rudely said paperwork first and then hung up. All i wanted to do was inquire about their properties.

There are some bad reviews on here, and I really don't know why. I lived in a Jackson Properties unit last year and have renewed for another year while I get my Graduate Degree at FSU. They are great! I have never had to wait more than a day or so for repairs, they really take care of you and are always polite. The units are nice and I was able to get a 2 bedroom next to campus on my own for a good price. I recommend them to everyone who asks me about living in Tally. Seriously the best leasing office I have ever rented from.

The management staff is friendly courteous and very helpful. In the 2+ years that we have used Jackson properties, we have never had anything that was not dealt with in a helpful, timely, professional manner. The office manager, Ely, has helped in a kind and understanding way that you do not always see with this kind of business. A little kindness goes a long way, and is greatly appreciated!

They charge excessively for a small place that is farther from campus than better places (cheaper, closer). They will charge you 300$ for a cleaning fee when you move out, regardless of how impeccable it is (had 4 people come clean and left the place like new), and judging by other reviews it seems like it is common to not get your deposit back. All in all, the employees are nice, they send you chocolates but this does not compensate for them over charging (500+ a month). Good reviews come from people who just moved in or can afford to burn some money every month. Unreliable, go to another place, closer to campus, that charges less.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST COMPANY YOU COULD EVER RENT FROM. Not only are the owner's unprofessional and rude to their clients but they refused to acknowledge that I was having a bug problem in my bedroom and their maintenance man left a note stating that I should seek psychiatric help regarding my bug bites that continued night after night. Needless to say, I wasn't able to sleep comfortably in my house that i was paying 500 a month for. However, they will be the first to acknowledge when you do something wrong and don't think for a second about charging you money. They take advantage of the college population thinking that we don't know legal rights regarding our lease's. I am taking this company public and putting a note in the local paper so that no other person has to deal with what I had to this past year. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where the staff were actually taught how to respect other human beings.
