I have lived here for 4 years and have been tricked into stay twice now. I would have left in 2018 because of issues with my roommates (who were assigned to my apartment through a compatibility form given by FORUM) but somehow they convince me to stay by changing the apartment I lived in. Then on top of that, they told me I had to move into my new apartment with only 2 days notice. So 2018 Fall semester comes around and I hear were are suppose to get incentives every year that we renew our lease, I had no knowledge of this until my new roommate told me. It wasn't until November that I finally received a dumb echo speaker that I never use. I decided I was going to hold off on renewing my lease and look for other places to stay because everything about this place had gone downhill and so many new places had open up that were way cheaper than Forum. Now to avoid any problems with incentives next year Forum decided to give anyone who renewed their lease a token that could be turned in at any time for any promotion that came up, so I took the token and renewed my lease. Biggest mistake of my life! I waited until summer to turn in my token for $500 gift card promotion that came up and signed a document that entailed this information. I leave for a month in August and every person that use to work in the office including the managers have left. Now, this is the second change in management in a single year!!! This new management has claimed they have no knowledge of the incentive I signed for and since I don't have proof there is nothing that they can do about. Also, they couldn't even locate the file that has all my documentation but can still take rent money from me! The management has change I think almost 5 times since I've lived here each one more incapable than the last! I think you get the gist, RUN WHILE YOU CAN, THERE ARE WAY BETTER PLACES TO LIVE!!!
