Just shy of two years. Great staff. Secure building. Efficient, and quick with repairs. Even disastrous events (a frozen condenser leaked under the floorboards, which resukted in a completely new wooden/laminate floor within 24 hours). Good price, rooftop pool and nice neighbors. And what a view! I will miss this home.

The Gentry's Landing is 29 story building and have Studio, 1 BHK, 2 BHK and 3 BHK apartments. Apartments are good and many of them are renovated. Being in Downtown area rent is reasonable. Basic facilities are available like Gym, laundry, pet friendly etc. Office staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I was happy during my approx 3 years stay.

My fianc and I love our home in GL. Dirt cheap rent, front doorman, two gyms, rooftop pool, and most importantly, our apt has never been broken into. That was not the case in another neighborhood where I lived, but I got rid of anything valuable in my apt anyway. Ive always wanted to see downtown end up like manhattan. Technically, we applied to the artist lofts first but were denied for not being low enough income. I would love to see more artistic types, business people, etc down here.

If it was just for the apartment it would easily be 4/5. However, you can only get AT&T for your TV and WiFi. So, crawling slow internet, days without service at all (yes, happened, the entire building was without service for several days) is the norm. The poor building staff can't do anything to help and AT&T doesn't want to do anything to help. Ditch AT&T and your tenants will be much happier.

Stayed here for two years when working in St Louis a few years back. Recently had a 30 day business trip come up, so I called and was able to get a furnished apartment at a good price for this stay. The location is great only a few hundred yards from the arch, and a couple blocks from the baseball stadium. The apartment complex while not new, is well taken care of and priced right. Staff is great to work with and when I come back I will stay here again.

Decent place to stay depending on where you are in the building. If I stayed elsewhere here, it'd be 4-5 stars.. here's my reasoning: Apparently I'm 1 of the unlucky residents who lives on a floor near another apartment that is always having work done at the most random times. Maybe it's just my luck but whyyyyyy on my 1 off day when I think I can sleep in am I awaken at 8 am because someone is banging something above me? Just last week I kept hearing a random dog barking. I look out the window and what do ya know? There's 2 dogs on someone's balcony from the 24th floor tied down just barking away for everyone with a nearby window to hear. If it isn't that it's someone's music piercing through my ceiling. Those are really my only complaints. I saw someone complain about the kitchen appliances in their review. Can't really complain about that as you have the option to pick a unit with the old ugly outdated kitchen stuff or a more expensive unit with the current feel. I also saw someone complain about the music in 2506 haha yeah I know what you're talking about. But on a positive vibe, for the most part there's a real family feel. We had a power outage a few months ago and some residents were really friendly and offered help to me. I didn't know what to do! I have no friends or family in the building so I felt very safe with my neighbors. If you have patience then the long waits for a elevator shouldn't bother you. I mean, there are 20+ floors full of people. They are trying to crack down on the marijuana smells lingering in the hallway. The 2 guys in the office are cool. The people at the front desk are decent picks except for some older lady who seems bipolar at times.

I am a resident here but I chose to leave my review anonymous so that my privacy is kept in tact. Let me give everyone a 100% honest review without putting emphasis on the great view, etc. like everyone else does. Let's get into the ACTUAL LIVING EXPERIENCE. Truth be told, it CAN be a great experience depending on where you are located in the building and what's going on. I don't mind sharing the elevator with people who have their pets trained but its extremely annoying to be on the elevator and then the door opens and a smelly dog jumps right on jumping all over you. Some people need to have their pets under control or at LEAST have the decency to get on the elevator BEFORE the pet does. Let's move onto the random hammer noises. Every so often I hear someone hammering something from the upper or lower floor. I don't know if its maintenance or a resident constantly building things. This happens at least 3 times a week at various times. Let's move onto the noise of a neighbor - there's a guy who's name starts with a P (I won't put his full name but I've attempted to communicate with him nicely that's how I learned his name) that lives in 2506 (hint hint). If you are looking to live here, I'D STRONGLY ADVISE not to attempt to move on the 25th floor or any surrounding floor because the guy blasts music and has no respect for the remainder of the floor. You can hear his music while you're waiting for the elevator and you can hear the bass knock through the walls. Imagine living in an apartment that's next to his or even above or lower? What makes it even worse is that his apartment effects apartments that are further down! Imagine that! He doesn't even attempt to turn it down to a volume that only consumes his apartment and management does nothing about it. Management are nice people to talk to though, I'll give them THAT. Let's move onto the washer/dryers that you have to pay $1.60 to use that I think recently went up in price. I won't fault Gentry's for that because I don't think they're in control of that even though these are in their building. Guess how many times I've come out of $1.60 because I have to move my clothes into a new dryer because it turns out that the dryer I just paid to use didn't even work properly? Oh and if you want company, forget about it unless its every blue moon. There's spaces outside the building reserved for 30 minutes or they can park in the garage for $5 or more depending on how many hours they're staying. Good luck dating someone if you live here! They have a pretty good custodial staff though. Stuff is always clean for the most part and big boxes are removed fairly quickly that are left in front of the trash chute. I've lived here for a short few years now and I've never had any issues getting my mail either. I live here due to the convenience of getting to work and by being near all of the highways. Its always well secured with cameras running 24/7. Luckily I have a kitchen with up to date appliances but let's be real, its kind of a joke to charge more for an apartment that looks current. Absolutely lazy on Gentry's part to not give residents who have the older appliances the option to update their kitchens. Guess that's a way for them to save money yet the Mansion House down the street is built the same and has new kitchen appliances in EVERY apartment. I'm considering moving elsewhere now due to all of the noise from this particular neighbor and my realization of what's going on here. Its gotten to a point where I can't even take naps without hearing someone's music or hearing someone using a hammer rapidly. If you're looking for a decent sized studio, look elsewhere because the studios here are hilariously small. The front office people are cool but the lobby attendants are hit or miss. A lot of the reviews on here are from people who haven't even been here long so the excitement of living downtown with a nice view with a few bars nearby warrants 4-5 stars, but if you're looking for more info than that then here you go! If you're interested here, hopefully you get a nice quiet floor!

Truth be told, I didn't come for the view and I didn't come for the experience, that was all a bonus. I came because no one else would allow me to have the breed of dog I have. Ive had him since he was a pup and he has never been with anyone else but me. In a short time I was able to secure a place for him and I without worry that I would have to give him up. St.Charles banned his breed out of reputation. This wonderful place allowed me to keep him in my care and still be close enough to school. They are both understanding yet firm and I love that. Id recommend this place to anyone.

It's a rip off to pay 90 dollars per month and if you have another car, or motorcycle they want you to pay an extra 30 dollars for a 2nd keycard, I was using the same keycard for my car and my motorcycle and was told I can't do that and the garage office threatened to call the police on me for stealing LOL not to mention they charge your guests as well. My friends never want to come over because they have to pay to park, and my boyfriend never wants to stay the night anymore because of the cost... He parked for 50mins in the garage the other day and it was $5 ... so $10-$20 a day can add up pretty fast. OH not to mention MY LAST MOTORCYCLE WAS STOLEN IN FRONT OF SECURITY OCT 2014 .... I had to get a new motorcycle. They told me the whole story, of a guy coming in on a motorcycle and leaning over to start my bike and the chick hopping off his bike and taking off on my bike, them both going through the gap of the gate... OH BUT THEY THOUGHT IT WAS ME BECAUSE SHE HAD ON A PINK HELMET LOL Gentry's Landing is wonderful, THE GARAGE SITUATION AND STAFF ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!

I moved in to Gentry landing from India last month. I could get relevant information by mail and could finish formalities online for a 6 month lease with help of excellent team (Steve).The lease signing just took 10 minutes. The apartment was ready, nice and clean with a kitchen,. I have been here one month and like that all my couriers are received and I can take it later. They are also very warm and fix any minor issue you report in a day. There is common laundary and recreation center. I would recommend Gentry Landing for any one who wants to stay in Downtown Saint Louis. Warm Regards, Sushil

Rented the apartment for a year, which is now coming to an end. Like everyone else stated, the location could not be beat. The view from the 27th floor was fantastic and the amenities are great! We are moving to another city and no longer need this apartment. The small amount of time spent here will be missed. I would recommend this building to anyone looking for a great location in St. Louis be it short or long term. If I ever have a need to spend any length of time in St. Louis again, I will certainly call Gentrys.

What an amazing high rise apartment building in downtown St. Louis. " Clean living" the buidling and each of the 29 floors and 4 elevators are constantly being cleaned This place simply ROCKS! from the top of the building which has a great pool with a view to the East, North and South (including the Mississippi river, The Arch, the Edward Jones dome, Laclede's Landing to the underground seasonally temperatured parking. ( sure is nice in the winter and the summer) Safe and secure. You need your key to enter the building from the garage.There is an attendant at the front door (24-7). In the lobby there is a dry cleaners (very handy for a working dude or lady) Leasing office employing some really nice, caring, smart, knowledgeable people. Convenience store right next door that has everyhting you could imagine. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Cardinals games and Rams games are very close and let us not forgot the gateway Arch. Folks this is downtown St. Louis so there will be traffic and there will be noise BUT it should be expected if you choose in the downtown are. If that is a problem, pick another property! I started out in a furnished studio that was very affordable and "moved up" to a higher floor, larger 1 bed, corner apartment with the most incredible view, floor to ceiling windows, a big balconcy, remodeled. Just excellent for myself and my cat, some fish and 20 house plants. Any problems that I might have needed maintenance for was handled promptly and professionally. NO BUGS EITHER. let me pause for a second. So many of the reviews that I have read already were so negative, Therefore, I decided to write my own to tell the positive side. nice laundry facility, business center, great work out rooms(2 of them). Nice community room, if you are into that scene. Lots of different people from all over live here. I love my apartment and my experiences here have all been favorable.

We really enjoyed our time at Gentry's Landing! We moved in because of the short-term lease option, because it was more of a temporary solution for us before we relocated. All of the staff in the building were very helpful and personable. Most of the staff in the leasing office and lobby knew our names, which was so nice. Whenever we had any questions or issues, we were always taken care of promptly. The rooftop pool, two gyms, dog walking area, and in-building laundry were nice to have as well. The location is also great - right across the highway from The Arch, a few blocks from Busch Stadium, and close to a lot of bars and restaurants. We have really enjoyed our time at Gentry's Landing and would highly recommend the building to anyone!

Breathtaking. I realize that I will likely never again have the experience the last 3 years of residency at Gentry's Landing has provided. I'll mention the things I'll miss the most; 1. THE VIEW 2. A largely pedestrian lifestyle. I was within walking distance of the grocery store, library and even work. 3. Great water pressure (seems silly) 4. Quite, considerate and diverse neighbors 5. Sauna I hope that you give Gentry's Landing a chance, it might just surprise you.
