I absolutely love this place! Going on my tenth year at Blankenbaker Apartments! It is truly home!
After living here so long, I am well aware that I could not live at another community and be happy.
The bar has been set too high! My friend is going on her ninth year here, we both agree the only way that we are moving is if we decide to buy a home. Of course, everyone loves the ladies at the office, maintenance goes way and above any request! For me, as others have stated, it is a little pricey, that being said, once when a strange acting man continued to knock at my door, our courtesy officer arrived in minutes. Last, but most IMPORTANT to me is that it QUIET! Everyone seems to have respect for one another!
Thank you Robin, Laura, Sabrina, Lora, Mike, and our wonderful new Maintenance Person (forgive me, I cannot think your name at the moment) for going the extra mile!

I have been here 2 years and just signed another lease - and no plans to move EVER! I have rented all my life, and this is the best place I've ever rented, hands down. the staff - office and maintenance - are the friendliest I've ever encountered. you know how you search for a place, and they treat you so well - til you sign the lease. after that, you're just a nuisance living in THEIR place, doesn't feel like your home at all. well not here. this is exactly how you always dreamed of being treated but never experienced before. not only are they so warm and welcoming in the office - exactly the same as before you sign the lease, if not better - maintenance is taken care of quickly, and they even encourage you to put in requests if anything is wrong. I had a problem with my dishwasher and they replaced it - boom! they are pet friendly, they keep the grounds very nice, and they are always improving something and doing something to make the community feel more like a home. you will not go wrong here.

Love everything about it except for the parking. With the price of rent you would assume that you could at least park near your unit without having to take a tour of the complex. Visitor parking is not enforced which leaves plenty of space for non-tenants to do as they please. There's roughly the perfect ratio of parking to give each unit an assigned spot. I realize how petty this may seem but I work well into the later parts of the day and I never get a spot near my unit and usually end up near the office. With the frigid weather it would have been nice to not be so far away. Unfortunately I do not work a 9-5 job.

Nice complex , however it does have its issues. For example a month after I moved in here in Feb 2017 construction started right behind the building I had moved into. Its extremely loud and the construction is everyday besides Sunday and starts at about 8 am every morning. So you can imagine my aggravation when I have to work second shift. There also isn't no parking for my building , i literally have to park dang near by the office every night because there is never no parking for my building. Now mind you I was warned that sometimes there wouldn't be no parking they never stated it would be every night. I cant wait for my lease to be up so i can be somewhere with no construction and somewhere i can actually park near my building.

As a current tenant, I can say that this apartment complex has met (and sometimes exceeded) my expectations. Whether it was filing a complaint, or checking for packages, the staff has been there at every turn to help me and make my life here a peaceful one, as well as ensure that all my issues were properly addressed and resolved. Plus, it was a double bonus to know that they have business incentives that lower the renting costs.

I was excited to move in to this place but as it stands I was not told and then lied to about the noisy construction work outside. I moved in two weeks ago and not until my move in day after I already handed over my first out of two rounds of checks was I alerted that I'd be living in a unit right next to a construction project that had just started. On my walk through when she told me this, I was very unhappy and asked why I hadn't been notified of this sooner and was told that it was only going on for about another week. It is clear now that it will go on for several more weeks if not months, I am awake right now on Saturday morning before 8am because it is so loud there is no way to sleep or enjoy the "peace" I was promised in this apartment.
Also after reading these comments & reviews from former tenants, I am glad I video taped and took photos of the unit upon move in. They act like they "care about you" but let's be real, everyone only cares about money and control.

They say to make it feel like home but that certainly was not how it felt. They also charged my roommate and I $600 to replace the carpets...what's the point of a deposit and pet deposit?? The staff are the friendliest and most accomodating people I have met just about anywhere. They make you feel important and like you are truly "home". We have lived here for 6 months and I don't have anything bad to say at all. The one time we had a small maintenance issue it was taken care of immediately. The grounds are beautiful and kept clean, the staff is friendly, and I feel safe and at home. I also know that should I have any problems they will be addressed with care. We certainly chose the right place to live.
