Lived here for a couple years with my brother. We rented a two bedroom two bathroom. Initially they seemed less than excited to show us the available apartment. Im assuming we looked to young to be serious about renting. After expressing interest they told us we could apply online as the application is taken care of through another company. We had great income and both of us had credit scores over 750. We applied and got approved next day with a security deposit of only $300. The apartment was only 2140 per month and due to Covid they didn't change our rent when we renewed after our 12 month lease expired. The property is just high end enough to keep the low lives out. I never had an issue with another tenant in two years of living here. The staff were always friendly and the maintenance guys were the best! Im only knocking a star off because of the recent increases in price. I checked back and saw that our old unit is being rented for 3000 a month. Almost a grand more per month than what I paid just over a year ago. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Other than that Id recommend living here.

I lived here back in 2018. Moved back to the East Coast and just recently for work and had issues with mail being sent to my old address at Eaves. The team here was able to intercept my mail and worked closely with me to get it sent to my new address. Thank you Sheri for all your help!
Maintenance team is awesome! Armando is super nice! Ian is always super helpful!. He gets along with my small dog when Im unable to be at home.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Eaves La Mesa!!! The property is well managed, the landscaping is beautiful and well maintained, the grounds are clean, the neighbors are friendly I wish I could give 100 stars!!! Moving into this complex was smooth (and we saw the place sight unseen as we moved across the county). Customer service is #1 for these folks! Ian, the Maintenance manager is wonderful and responds quickly and thoroughly. Best of all, when we needed to move closer to my job, they had an available unit at another Avalon Bay residence and the transition was seamless. I HIGHLY recommend this property and the company as well. We will be Avalon Bay residents for a long, long time! Thanks Sheri, you are the best!
I've only been here a few months. Any issue is taken care of promptly. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
