Lived here for two years. Don't make the same mistake. Its impossible to get work orders completed, you'll have to bother the front desk constantly to even have a chance of anything getting fixed. The apartments have bad bug problems. When they came to fix it, it didn't help at all and we had to fix it ourselves or deal with it. I mean ants, huge roaches, the works. The furniture isn't in good condition. The couches were all ripped up (they wouldn't replace them), the counters looks awful, the fridge had multiple broken shelves, the sliding doors on the closets constantly fall off, the blinds on the windows break easily. My fan was broken for months and no one would come fix it. The washer and dryer didn't work well. The apartment switched resident portals and didn't give proper instruction, causing rent to be late, and they charged late fees even though it was due to the change in portal. They charge a fee for paying online, which takes advantage of college kids who aren't there for the summer. It's impossible to get a sublease for summer because NO ONE WANTS TO LIVE HERE. They recommended a router when I moved in and then switched internet and banned routers. The location is terrible, give yourself another 45 minutes to get to class if you live here. Don't pay $530 to live in a roach infested, badly managed, mediocre apartment.

Campus Lodge switched management recently, management used to be really good, they always tried to help you if you had any issues. New management changed everything, they conveniently added a service fee of $16.00 for people that pay rent online and they did this just before Summer started (You know, when everyone leaves Gainesville for internships and such and they can not physically stop by the office to pay rent with a check) So now you have to pay an extra $16.00 if you pay your rent online. They also conveniently stopped sending reminder emails to pay for rent! They only send you an email for when your rent is late and they wait a day after it is considered late to send it so they can accrue the late payment fee and charge it to you.

Moving in was simple and smooth sailing. Here is a list: - If you live towards the back of the complex and drive, good luck because the sensor never works to open the gate. You will have to get down, walk on the other side of the car, put your key card in, and then get back in your car to drive thru the gate - If you live towards the front, there's only one bus that passes and its 35.. can take like 25 mins to get to UF - I did not experience any bugs in my apartment - maintenance usually comes in within 24 hours to fix your needs - The appliances are old.. Our dryer stopped working and it took maintenance 4 attempts (which means we put in work orders four different times) before it was fixed. Our fridge leaks water. Again, we put in three different work orders.. they came in three times and did something to the fridge... but the issue hasn't been resolved. at this point its just like whatever so we just live with our fridge leaking water on the floor all the time. - The shower is old, gets moldy quick, and the paint peels on the ground of the shower - Luckily my sofa was new and not ripped, although most apartments here, the furniture are terribly ripped and torn If you want to live here, do yourself a favor and get an upgraded apartment. You will get new appliances/furniture and hopefully won't have the same problems I have

Place is decent, maintenance is quick and everything is ready to move in. My building was quite old and the floor needed to be replaced but all they did was strip and wax it. One very unprofessional thing was bringing the online payment system down a couple days before pay day and then charging a hefty late fee as if there was no delayed payment taken into account, especially around spring break when people were out of town. We should have been given several weeks notice in advance. Other than that, living here was quite convenient for someone with a busy schedule.

They are very professional and try hard to keep you informed. Love the security of the complex and the assistants during the after hours....

Ive lived in campus lodge for a year, and I'm thinking about resigning. I like that its a gated community, the outside looks really nice and clean, and your key to your apartment is a key card instead of a normal key. Also, rent prices arent too bad. The main cons are that the furtniture (couches) are falling apart and because they are leather and old they are all torn up, (doesn't look like the showroom) but when you report it nothing happens. Also, the showers mold extremely easily. Plus, I have seen roaches in the apartments, and it feels like there are constant inspections which is kind of annoying. If these issues were fixed this would be a 5 star place to live.

I really wish I could give this place 0 stars if I could. At first there was a few roaches, we called pest control, things weren't so bad. Then we received an email over the summer saying that our building was INFESTED with German cockroaches. Pest control came ONCE to do an "inspection and deep spray". They blamed it on us for having trash in our trash can and clean bottles in our recycling bin. The thing with German cockroaches is that they go after electronics. They are in my walls, living in the outlets (that I had to have replaced because none of them worked). And they're in my oven clock. I have seen 5 roaches in the clock at once. I don't go a day without seeing at least 4 roaches in my kitchen/living room. I clean my apartment every weekend. The office says it's our responsibility to call for pest control even though the building is still infested. Some of my neighbors moved buildings or straight up got out of their leases because of this. My kitchen/living room are not messy or dirty by any means. I have complained to 5 property managers since last summer and nothing has been done. I was told I would get a new oven back in November. Hasn't happened. I tried calling the regional manager because I refuse to deal with the latest property manager (that will probably be gone in a month) and she hasn't gotten back to me. I have emailed pictures of the roaches in my oven, outlets, and thermostat and NOTHING has been done. I can't live like this anymore. I pay $500 to live in a roach infested apartment that the complex does nothing about. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

I am a current resident and I have not been pleased at all. The appliances and furniture are dated and barely functioning, the cabinets...

I am a current resident and I have not been pleased at all. The appliances and furniture are dated and barely functioning, the cabinets have seen better days and there is a bug problem. For the first week after I moved in the lock did not work (they are key cards like you get at a hotel, not actual keys). The air conditioner froze over about a month into me living there and fans barely go fast enough to move air. The internet is unsecured and open, which is an online safety concern and there has also been an issue with someone letting air out of peoples tires and there is not a single security camera on the property, so the culprit has not been found. Do not let the model units and friendly staff fool you, this place is mediocre at best terrible at the worst. I will not be renewing my lease next year.

My son lived there for a year. Bugs throughout out apartment (rarely sprayed for bugs). Every month maintenance came by to bleach the bathroom ceiling and walls because of mold. The furniture so worn and falling apart. Rust in microwave, thank goodness he never used it! His girlfriend lived in another apartment there and her door locked had to be fixed 4 times in a year (the apartments do not use keys they used hotel door keys-horrible idea). The models are NOTHING like what you get. Run run run from here!

Got charged overages my last month of living here due to the fact that they put a dehumidifier in our apartment because of leaks. Totaled up to $30 a person. When asked they said that they would take into account their dehumidifier. It's funny how we never went over for 11 months and then the last month when they put the dehumidifier in we get charged for overages. In addition, my apartment building had no internet for about a month, because they were "upgrading" the internet. We were not compensated for this despite the fact that internet is included in the rent. Management here is not the best to put it lightly. Would not recommend, the place isn't even cheap compared to other places.

My previous roommate moved out due to our apartment being covered in mildew, I stayed because they said they would fix the problem. They never did and eventually I had to request a transfer or threaten to break my lease. Upon doing this they said they were going to charge me $200 to move me because they had to "clean an extra room" even though it was turnover season and all the empty rooms have to be cleaned anyway. When I tried to talk to the property manager she was very rude in a public setting and it was quite embarrassing.

Maintenance was quick but they would check your apartments when you aren't home, I don't trust those men. Worked where they bought things and overheard conversations making me uneasy. Nice pool. Also, some of these 5 star reviews are written by people who work there since you must live there to work there last I heard...odd to my perception. Similar to dorm living. Lived there 13'-14' but felt the need to share my experience. Renter beware.

Campus lodge is great. Staff is friendly, maintenance always responds in less than a week, and amenities are amazing. Doesn't feel like an apartment, but more like a resort you stay in while on vacation. They have security at night and gates so it's pretty safe too. I have no complaints and I've lived here for 2 years. And no I didn't do this review to win anything, just trying to tell the truth about what I've experienced thus far.

Don't really move in. But find the policy is unreasonable and the application website is like bullshit. It asks you pay for application fee before you can have access to the policy document. It asks for 3-month rent for secure deposit. Who wanna have such a big bunch of money deposit on another people's account! When I was trying to withdraw the application, they told me the application fee is not refundable! I cannot have any comments on the apartment complex, but the application process is terrible and the staff don't even want to correct their error. Be careful!

Upon moving in, my apartment was very dirty. The furniture was old and had stains all over it. The couch cushions were all torn up. The bathroom was gross, I had to scrub the shower down with bleach and the paint was chipping all along the bottom. Our dining room table was broken and has remained broken even though I put in a maintenance order when I first moved in. Make sure to take pictures of everything before settling in. I'm worried they'll charge me when I move out for things that were already there when I moved in. If you're looking to sublease there's a $200 turnover fee for maintenance and cleaning even though when I moved in a lot of things needed repair and the place was dirty. I also had to get a bunch of roach traps. The paint on our front door was/is chipping off. My bedroom door doesn't lock from the outside. Maintenance came once to fix it but alas it remains broken. There's also a "no pet policy" in place but I see residents walking their dogs all the time. Overall, the apartment I'm in can be best described as, "dingy". Due to the condition of the apartment when I moved in, I give Campus Lodge 2 stars. All of that being said, the staff is attentive, understanding, and they get back to you within a reasonable amount of time.

I've lived at Campus Lodge for 4 years now, and they have been really good to me. The staff are understanding and always work with myself or my room mates to resolve issues. The security staff are always nearby and make the complex feel secure. Matinance is always very responsive. The amenities are awesome. The pool with the giant TV, 2 bus stops, a workout room, gated access. The apartment itself is a great value in comparison to other nearby places. A bug kitchen, queen sized beds, huge sturdy desks, massive showers. It's a great place to live as a student or young professional.
