I lived at Woodland Village for over 3 years. We initially chose Woodlands village because the apartments were HUGE and the price was fair comparatively and the location cant be beat. We were looking to purchase a home in the area, so we didnt intend to stay for very long....however, we found ourselves already at home at Woodland Village and we stayed for many years allowing us to save and to build the house of our dreams. I am saddened by the negative reviews that are posted here and wanted to take a moment to share my awesome experience and to remind the readers who exactly are the folks that leave bad reviews. Its always the people that dont pay their rent on time and dont think they should get a late fee, or the folks that break their lease and hate that they are held responsible for adhering to a contract they signed or think that because their dog is small...they shouldnt have a pet fee. . The units are older and required maintenance occasionally, and the benefit to renting is that when your dishwasher isnt working, you make a call and it gets repaired or replaced at no extra cost. This is a luxury I miss as a homeowner! But anytime I needed maintenance, the issue was handled. And if I had an issue above the maintenance staffs ability (1 time required a plumber) someone was dispatched within 48 hrs. Again...a luxury I hate giving up as a homeowner...because it takes a lot longer than 48hrs for a plumber to make a house call....and its surely not included in the mortgage. So to all of you are considering Woodland Village as your next home.....dont be discouraged by a few negative reviews....come and see for yourselves

While I appreciate the efforts made to install a new window and skylight in our apartment. I am questioning the competency of the worker employed to do it since he employed less then conventional methods in the construction and I question his safety standards but I just cant bring myself to tell him directly as his fluffy tail and cute little face are disarming and I cant stand to hurt his little squirrel feelings.

While affordable and in a great location, Woodland Village has been difficult since move in. Quick, cheap maintenance orders result in ongoing issues for months. Examples like water leaking, rodents living in our walls, DIGGING THROUGH OUR CEILINGS... it has been seriously comical living here. The company refuses to take safety concerns seriously. The only saving grace of Woodland Village is Tabitha and Sarah. The maintenance crew and Tamara continue to make excuses, leave illegal issues of housing unaddressed. We have finally gotten a lawyer involved just to see some sort of justice. Save your money. Save your time. The affordable rent is NOT worth the safety and decency that is overlooked at Woodland Village.

Tabatha, my leasing manager was amazing!!! She showed me 2-3 apartments in my price range before I made my decision. I did research before signing up, and this was the best value considering the price, square footage, and overall conditions (cleanliness, updated furnishings, and safety). I leased a 1 BR apartment. Most enjoyable to me was the screened-in balcony; I spent many evenings out there. I've already recommended Woodland to several friends look for a great value.

I recently toured this community and absolutely loved it! The office gals were nice and welcoming and my dog was greeted too! Even had dog treats out for her. We saw no trash on the grounds and each apartment we toured had no bugs! I must admit some of these "reviews" are bias and they almost scared us away! Pros: Great location and the space can't be beat. Cons: No covered parking but there is plenty of open parking. Can't wait until next month!

The price that I pay is incomparable to others near in the area and I feel safe with my children. They are able to play outside and I do not have to fear. Tamara, the property manager is always pleasant and I enjoy talking to her when I am able to.

Rats, roaches and spiders infested.... This place charges to much money for the hassle they put you through. They care more about the landscape than they do the insides of these homes. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE. it takes about a month or longer to get work orders complete, I still have mold from leak that happen when i moved in months ago. They don't care and it shows.all they care about is money. the 1 star reviews are totally honest reviews. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

Awesome location, I work downtown and I can get to work in no time! The ground are well kept and the office staff is great. I have had to complain once or twice about my messy neighbors, but I guess that comes with apartment living. I have never seen an apartment with so much space. The apartments are a little old, but the price is just right and the complex is very nice considering the age.

This apartment complex is definitely a NO!! If you have to, it is a means to make an end until you can get to better. The apartments are very old and instead of updating, they do patch up work. We had to deal with mold and bugs and it was awful, and the leasing staff would lie about getting maintenance to come and fix things. I would not suggest this to anyone here unless it is a must.

Horrible maintenance. My air conditioning keeps going out at night and there is no maintenance tech on duty to fix it. My daughters and I literally have to spend every night in the heat. They will not try to find the source of the problem to prevent this from happening. Instead they just come look around the AC and leave. It is currently 10:40 am and we have been without air all night and it's still not on. I've been calling the emergency line all night and morning and no one still hasn't responded.

Disgusting place! Landlord ignores repair requests. Place is infested with cockroaches. I've had a plywood board covering my backdoor for almost three weeks because the glass was shattered by vandals. I have electrical issues, the counters and sinks are peeking, my electrical bill ranges from $200 to $300 each month because of poor insulation. Also, they've refused to change filters during the three years I've lived here. This place is falling apart and all they want is your monthly rent, which is extremely high for the shack, unsanitary apartment you get in exchange. Do not rent here...you'll regret it if you do.

Woodland Village is a great place to live! My needs are met and my building neighbors are great and it has been that way for years. This community is large and with that comes many different personalities to manage. I've experienced the rudeness from people within the community so I praise them. What speaks volumes in my opinion isn't the number of negative reviews because that's a given (society has taught us this)... but how many people over the course of time enjoyed this as their home. There are thousands of us! :)

I am a past resident since I've purchased a home but I lived here in 2 different units and had a positive experience. Staff has always been accommodating and maintenance took care of us. With it being a large community turn around time wasn't an issue. There was also scheduled pest control and if you requested it more than they added you. Amenities were great and they were converting over to salt water pools when I left. Location was ideal and the school district is top notch!

Maintenance is yet to adequately fix the leak in the living room, which was reported two months ago. The staff is very friendly but that's where it ends. They do not care about the tenants once they're moved in.

ohhh god...so worst customer service. and after you lease the APT they are not care about you and you regular service of you APT....

ohhh god...so worst customer service. and after you lease the APT they are not care about you and you regular service of you APT. and the air condition of the house is like 1885 model and you place never going to cold down. and they never do pest control in your APT... and after 8.00pm all cockroach come out from street... and u can not open you door if some one knock you door... they dont have children play ground. have big tennis skort but its not uses.. they have to do make that place small and make some slider for little kids.Never go to Wood land Village.i will move soon toooo....
