I am an elder in my community and I have ample knowledge and experience. I have lived at Parkview Villa, Oct. 2018 will be 2 years. In spite of what anyone says negative about the facilities, I have 2 positives! First, I know that the Site Manager, Keairra Cardriche, does an excellent job managing some 900 + units. I remember when she was an assistant manager and learning the site management process here. Now Assistant Site Manager, Rochelle Homes, is learning the process and doing a fine job assisting Ms. Cardriche. I know because I pay attention to details where I live. Mary Ann Prado, Resident Connections Coordinator, is indispensable in assisting the front office, as well as literally having her finger on the pulse with all residence, organizing in-house events, trips, seeing to residence every need with honorable intent of kindness, she works very hard to not miss anyone who needs their questions answered or particular needs met. To me, we have had very good maintenance personnel, a former maintenance technician, Alex was very help and dedicated to do his best work. Now we have two more recently new assigned maintenance personnel, Jim Carmichael, Maintenance Technician, and Anthony Lor, Building Technician, I have gotten to know a little and I find them good people, caring and doing skilled work and socially suitable to blend right in with the residence here. I had a chance to meet Corinna Lowe, Portfolio Director, briefly, but I noticed she was approachable, I had no complaints, just wanted to say hello. I would like to also give thanks to the Resident Council Members, past and present, for all their hard work and insights into what helps our community to work better, again the work hand in glove with community coordinator, Mary Ann Prado, and they probably don't get recognized enough! Thanks to all staff and volunteers for assisting with keeping residence informed on things like when vendors will be in the building doing work whether it's snow removal, waste management, heating/cooling issues, elevator, street/parking lot contruction, pest control, neighborhood watch updates, programming updates, announcements and just a whole slough of other items related to helping to make Parkview Villa a thriving, vibrant community, that to me, merits a write up like this one. I don't mind paying rent here and I've often mentioned how much I've enjoyed living here. I try and encourage residence to think in a positive fashion, we all have our crosses to bare so to speak, and it's how we handle things that actually matter more than what they are, there will always be things and if we knee jerk over everything that happens, we'll be walking around jerky, off balance mentally, emotionally and physically. So let's use our knowledge and experiences, of which we have a lot, most of us to have a kind word and care and be sincere about it, it will help others and also ourselves. Thank you Aeon!
