I honesty love living at The Trails at Wolf Pen Creek. The apartment is very spacious and i love the friendly staff. Bailey helped me move in and she was very knowledgeable about the property. They are extremely helpful in assisting any of my issues. The location is prime, i love the park and how close it is. I plan to stay here for my entire school career. Also the manager Virgina is very kind to all of the residents.

I have been living at the trails at wolf penn creek since August 2017 and I honestly love the location, it's a relatively quiet area, super close to the mall and grocery stores. It has a convenient TAMU bus stop for getting to campus, and it was the cheapest furnished unit I could find in college station. Maintenance is pretty quick about fixing issues that you may have, anytime I have put in a request they'll usually come the next day. I am glad I resigned my lease for the 2018-2019 school year.

The rent is cheap but the management is awful. I had to talk to corporate and all I got was a bunch of attitude. Utilities were around $100 every month, so at that price you can live somewhere way nicer and I definitely recommend doing so! They also charge every fee they can when you move out. I also had lots of beetles, spiders, and roaches while living on the first floor. Thankfully maintenance is very fast. I lived here for two years and I am happy I moved out.

The Trails are not the best place to stay in Colelge Station. If you can live anywhere else but here. The apartment itself was dirty when I first moved and the a/c was also out. It took forever to get maintenance to fix it and through out the year it never worked fully. There were bugs when I moved in and throughout the long year that I lived here. The appliances were all old and out dated, the roof leaked every time it rained, and the walls are paper thin. The people in the office are not nice nor helpful in just about any situation. The utility cost are was overpriced, the internet service and the cable they provided is one star as well and thats pushing it. Supposedly the roommate matching system wasnt working when I moved in as well. maintenance would always walk into the apartment unannounced so me and my roomate would have to lock the top lock so they wouldnt come in. However they would barely help if you had an actual problem or tell you there was no problem at all. Definitely look at all the other options before you make the decision to move here. The property, apartments, and amenities are no where as nice as they state.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I have lived in several states and countries and I have never encountered a worse place of business. The management team is awful, they're rude and condescending they don't care about the people at all. Their answer for everything is "company policy" and when I tried to talk to someone at corporate it was even worse. I spoke to a woman called Renee and she told me from the minute she answered the phone that she was too busy, from that mome t kn the call went south. I do not appear being treated like that I am a customer and you have been taking my money for the last 9 months the least you can do is listen to me. I'm more than dissatisfied, frustrated and angry at this place. I hope this review saves someone the hardship that had brought me.

Absolutely hate living here, have been here for two semesters and my WiFi still doesn't work: I have given up and just find myself going to campus/office space/friends house in order to work on schoolwork or study. Everything is extremely run down and broken, water pressure isn't the best, the space in the 4 bedroom/4 bathroom is nice and big, the kitchen is a bit small though. Upon move in, the dryer didn't work and the washer had a cockroach in it, the AC kept breaking throughout living here (it actually is broken right now as well and created a leak, the floor now has water coming out of it), pieces of the apartment were broken or missing and there are scratches all along the walls and floors. The parking availability is nice and you can have plenty of visitors (you wouldn't want to though because the place is so run down and the AC probably wouldn't work and neither would the wifi), there is a bus stop right next to the apartment complex. It is not worth living here or worth the money I pay for each month, I will definitely be moving once my lease is over. Please don't waste your time or money here. May Update: Living here has been the most terrible experience, no one has been home since the very beginning of May 2018; with the AC off (it is actually BROKEN, not off) and there is no one home so there shouldn't be a very high utility bill but in actuality they are making us pay $65 EACH for May utility due to a leakage of the AC that is BROKEN and not our fault in anyway because we alerted the office and maintenance in April of this problem. This has been one of the highest bills we have received, the manager even attempted to tell us the utility bill wasn't due to the AC leak when she told us it was weeks before and that she would try to help us fix the bill. The other times the utility bill has been this high was also due to a CONSTANTLY BROKEN AC that we do not have control over. DO NOT LIVE HERE, ITS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY OR FRUSTRATION!!!

I have enjoyed my years as a resident at The Trails at Wolf Pen Creek. My favorite part about living here is definitely the park and the surrounding area. It is a calm environment although the weekends are evidently more upbeat. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The apartments themselves fulfill their part of the job.

I'd read the bad reviews and fully expected to discover that the management would make some attempt to turn things around. I was mistaken. For the last 3 days I've made multiple calls and sent multiple emails in an attempt to gather information. I was fully prepared to even sign a year long lease if the information given sounded alright. The problem was that I was given no information. The staff here aren't putting forth any effort whatsoever to have me sign a lease. Not a single person has actually answered any question that I've asked. They have no desire to make the sale and I'm sure this attitude will continue throughout the year if I were to sign. Most off-putting staff I've ever dealt with.

I like living here because it is affordable, and I feel like I get exactly what I pay for. The maintenance is not that good. The apartments are in moderate condition, but I like the location and I like the complex tries hard to make it better for us. Honestly, the quality of the Trails is pretty decent given how much it cost and how much space we really have.

I've lived here for two years, one year in a two bedroom and one year in a one bedroom. I haven't had any problems. The rent is affordable (cheapest furnished I could find in all of college station). The location is nice, I liked being able to walk in the park and take the bus. I think they keep up with the pest control pretty well, so far I have only seen two bugs inside my apartment, both of them roaches. My one bedroom apartment is more updated than my two bedroom was (stainless steel/black appliances as opposed to white, and faux granite-looking counter tops as opposed to white). I've never had a problem with maintenance, they seem to come out by the next day in my experience. The layout of my one bedroom was better than my two, and it's actually bigger and better-planned than my friend's who lived at Cherry Street apartments. I appreciate that they have laundry in-unit. Utilities seem a bit high, just so you know. Never had any problem with the staff, maintenance always notifies you when they've been at your apartment. One thing I will say though is that my apartment is right next to the park so...critters are always around dumpster. I've seen raccoons (in the dumpster, nearly gave me a heart-attack when they ran out), cats, opossums, and even a skunk, so that's something to be aware of if you're like me and tend to toss your garbage at night.

I was very excited to move here for my second year of college. I've enjoyed my apartment, but there have been CONSISTENT problems. First, my shower had not been cleaned out from the previous renter. I couldn't shower because it didn't drain. For the first week of living there I had to shower in my roommates bathroom or somewhere else. There were quite a few big holes in the wall that were poorly covered up. There was an A/C leak and we had mold growing on our ceiling.... Then, our dishwasher stopped draining water so not only could we not use it, our kitchen smelled awful until they fixed it. Our water stopped working temporarily and we couldn't flush our toilets or run our sink water. There are four smoke detectors. A little overkill right? Most annoying part. They are set off so easily. Once one goes off the entire unit goes off. Mine gets set off if my shower is too hot.... In the middle of the freeze we had this winter our heater broke. Our apartment was freezing. We had to spend 2 nights away from our apartment and the best they could do was tell us on the 2nd day that we could stay in the apartment they let people tour. After we got our heater working again, our dryer broke. After that point I was completely fed up and told management about all of my problems and how upset I was and all they could say was "We'll get maintenance right on that." I told them I wanted a reduction on my rent for this month and they have yet to get back to me. On top of the things happening in my apartment there are small things in general. The printer literally never works. Ive used it maybe 1 time because they can't figure out how to fix it. The walls are so incredibly thin. If I'm lying in my bed I can hear my neighbors full conversation next door. That makes me feel uncomfortable. You can hear every single person in your whole complex leaving their apartment. Also I had to go 3 weeks without anywhere to live and they still charged me a full month of rent. I still don't understand that, but that was extremely inconvenient. I know a good chunk of people go home for the summer, but I don't. I work through the summers so in between leases was awful. All in all I will not be living here next year. Maintenance guys are super friendly and helpful when they can get to you, the student workers are great, but the management is awful.

So, I fell in love with the complex when I toured, however the staff is what ultimately ruined this place for me. I toured at the beginning of December and was told someone would "Get back to you tomorrow to finalize the price". I was happy, even though my tour guide was terrible. She walked into the apartment and just sat down and waited for me to finish looking around while she played on her phone. Over a month passes, my boyfriend and I have both called over 5 times and emailed the office as well and NO ONE got back to us. The one time we got through on a phone call with them, they hung up on us. After waiting over a month, we finally got an email back asking if we were interested in prices. When I told her about the problems I had she didn't seem to care. This is the worst front office staff, they obviously are unorganized and do not care about customer service whatsoever. All in all, we will not be living at this complex, simply because the management was terrible.

The location is great, the cost of living is reasonable and I love living next to wolf pen creek park, the mall and five min to Cinemark. However, they are way behind in the upgrade of the units. I was shown a beautiful remodel unit but received an old apartment with bad insulation that reflected in pricy utilities. The gym is okay but the machines are old and one needs urgent replacement. After four months the printer stopped working and has been disabled since then. Also, they should keep the pool clean and not only in the summer. Finally, it has a great pool and a very attractive game lounge but I encourage them to allow access 24 hours and not only for the very reduced office hours. In general, it is an improving community with a lot of potential

First off.....DON'T LIVE HERE!!!!! They have inconvenient leasing options. In renewing my lease for the last time I knew that I would be graduating in December, but their only options to renew were ending in October or in May. Having lived there for a year already and not wanting to find a short term lease, I chose the May option so I wouldn't be homeless for 2 months. There was an early move out option involving subleasing, so I figured with enough notice everything would work out. I was contacted by staff about renewing my lease September/October before my December graduation. I notified them that I would be graduating and moving out mid December, and therefor would not be renewing. I was contacted A SECOND TIME about renewing my lease in November, with the staff member even saying that they had it noted that I was graduating and moving out in December, so I figured since it was noted that the early lease/moving out would not be an issue. After graduating in December and moving out I was told by a staff member that I would still be responsible for utilities from December, which is understandable, but then I was charged in January for rent. After calling and talking with a manager, I was told that EVEN THOUGH A STAFF MEMBER HAD RECORDED IT MONTHS BEFORE THAT I WAS MOVING OUT EARLY.....they had not been marketing my apartment for a sublease and I would still be responsible for for rent until they got a new move in. I was then belittled by the manager, saying that "there had been multiple inquiries for a single bedroom in December, but they had no idea my apartment was open" EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ON RECORD I WAS MOVING OUT MONTHS BEFORE!!!! I was then informed that it was still my responsibility to talk to the manager specifically....even though I talked to a staff member and was told I did not need to do anything else for early move out. Horrible communication between the staff that will cost you money....DON'T LIVE HERE!!!

I think these apartments are worth the money you're paying for them. However, they do have their draw backs. The appliances are out of date and aren't very new. I find maintenance is a little slow and it takes awhile to get things done. I had to get my dishwasher and dryer replaced and it took over a week. The people at the front office have a huge issue with getting things done and it usually takes more than one visit to actually get something accomplished. I feel like every time I call them one person tells me one thing and then someone tells me something else. Also, I have found the noise to be an issue. Since it is a complex composed mainly of college students, it can be loud sometimes (parking lot traffic, people talking in the hallway, pretty normal noise but a lot of it can be irritating). I've found the walls and floors are a little thin as well so you can hear your next door and upstairs neighbors if they are yelling or stomping. I've honestly never live in an apartment where I could hear my other neighbors so much. Highly suggest living on the 3rd floor if possible due to upstairs neighbors noise. I like the area and feel safe at the complex.

My daughter and her roommate moved in on a Saturday because she was stuck in Pearland for 2 weeks due to the flooding from Harvey, and the person she'd been speaking with wasn't there. They had to sign paperwork before they got their keys, but it wasn't the lease agreement stating the rent/security deposit that was told to them over the phone after they filled out the application. They were told that they wouldn't have to pay a security deposit or 1st month's rent because they were running a special, but that was a lie. The apt people completely the lease agreement almost a week after they were living there, but didn't tell them about it or what was in it and started hounding them to pay almost $1000 each for the 1st month and did the same thing the 2nd month. Please don't trust them like we did because it'll be a problem that a full-time student with a part-time job can't afford.

Lived here for 6 months. I wish I can rate 0 star. No a good decision to live here. That Miss, the agent who I signed a contract with, is always arrogant even before you become their tenant. I can not feel any hospitality from her. The rent is higher than its neighborhoods, but the service is not. I submitted an AC maintenance request when it was 40 C outside.It took 2 days until they repaired it. What a hard time in the long 2 days! I was informed to pay $30 dollars for carpet cleaning when I was moving out. At this time, they reacted QUITE fast. I CANNOT log in to pay that fee just one day after the lease term ends. So I called to ask whether I could pay it in other ways. They said money order was all right. I bought money order and they received it. Guess what happened then? I was emailed by the office that I was no longer eligible to pay the carpet cleaning and I would be charged another $15 for the late payment from my deposit. Are you robbing? Why don't you directly deduct this $30 from the deposit? Furthermore, I was charged $12.5 for cleaning the drip pan which was already dirty and oily when I moved in. I am not sure whether they will clean it or just wait for the next $12.5. Good job, the trails! I will never recommend you to my friends.

They say the account is ok but its not and the extra charges pile up fast. Also I've already had over 20-30 roaches in my apt. Be VERY cautious leasing an apt here.

Not very pet friendly and I got charged once because my friend brought her dog over. Cheap for a reason!! I'd recommend campus crossings way nicer! Also forgot to mention I posted a bad review about them before and they threatened to evict me and ruin my college career. Wonderful people huh

Lived here for 8 months now and no major complaints. Utilities seem to run a bit high. But the rooms are spacious and nice, the staff is very friendly and responsive, and the maintenance team actually fixes everything, even the small things, quickly and efficiently! Currently living in a 2x2 that was renovated last year. The apartments on the 3rd floor have vaulted ceilings which are lovely! The unfurnished apartments include an installed table (with chairs) and a desk and chair per bedroom. The microwave is SUPER tiny. The main pool is decent, but people only really use it during the summer. It might not be cleaned as often as it should. The fitness center is rather run down - at least the equipment is - but good for a pinch, or if you don't go to A&M and use their rec center. General property is nice, location is good (right by the 6 and with a bus stop to A&M). Right by the park and has a rather pretty jogging/walking trail. Technically in walking distance of the mall. Overall, a very positive experience and I would recommend wholeheartedly!

I'd give it zero stars if I could. Honestly, it is one of the worst places I've ever lived. It started out nicely; the leasing agents were friendly and willing to work with my financial situation. However, as time progressed, everybody in the office became rude and unprofessional. The worst offenders were Danielle and Nicole, who both hold supervisory positions in the leasing office. Toward the end of my lease, a few people moved into my building.They played loud music and stomped around almost every night, and they threw trash all over the property. When I tried to file a complaint with the office, I was shot down almost immediately. I tried a second time to report the noise and the trash, and another leasing agent said straight to my face that she didn't believe me. The apartment itself was already trashed the day I moved in. Maintenance was always shoddy, and most maintenance requests took over a week for a response from the maintenance crew. When I vacated the apartment, I was charged for damages which did not occur. I was also charged for "unpaid" rent, even though I have explicit proof that I paid the amount of rent agreed upon in the lease. I am so utterly disgusted by the way this "business" runs things in College Station. If you want your money stolen from you, and if you want to be treated like a sub-human species, this is a GREAT place. Otherwise, there are much better options in the Bryan/College Station area.

I've lived here for 2 years and it's definitely not the worst place to live in college station. However, it's incredibly annoying to live here. We've had a lot of problems with maintenance saying they "fixed" something, then having to return multiple times to fix the same issue. We had an issue with our AC unit and they had to come 5 times over the span of 2 months to fix it completely. They treat you like an idiot when you say something is wrong and try to tell you that's not actually the problem, etc. Also, their pet policy is frustrating. I've wanted a dog for so long but couldn't get one (even if I paid the $500 deposit) due to living in "pet-free building". That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Take my money and let have a dog here. I can't wait to move out in 2 days!
