When I first moved in, the property management staff were extremely friendly and professional. Since then Ive observed that, other than a couple of hiccups, the professionalism has been maintained. The Pros for me are: 1) The community has a genuinely friendly feel to it; 2) The maintenance staff are top notch; 3) I come home from work late at night and never feel unsafe; 4) The location is nice. The Cons for me are: 1) There are roaches -GROSS!...over the past year I had one incident where I saw them scurrying around the mailbox and Ive had about 5-6 instances of finding a roach in my apartment, however Ive never had an infestation thank god.they have pest control spray regularly so I guess thats why seeing roaches isnt a regular occurrence; 2) Cell phone reception is spotty. 3) The apartments have a bluetooth speaker in the kitchen but it sounds crackly so I dont use it.but bizarrely, when you turn on your kitchen light, an automated womans voice screeches BLUETOOTH MODE!!! from the hidden speakers. Like straight up full blast high volume shrieking. It happens each and every time you turn on the kitchen light, no exceptionsI asked maintenance one day if there was a way to turn it off or at the very least turn it down and he said unfortunately no. I can even hear whenever my upstairs neighbors turn on their light! 4) The renovations are definitely on the cheap side and the walls/ceilings are thin-I can hear every step my upstairs neighbor takes throughout their apartment with a creak of the ceiling. I believe that the price for the rental exceeds the quality of what youre gettingmy guess is that were paying for the location. Anyway, my overall opinion is that as a place to live its just fine - its friendly and safe, however I wouldnt be surprised if there were much nicer quality apartments out there in nice neighborhoods for the same price

I'm a new resident (moved in about a month ago) and I've had such a great experience with this community. The buildings themselves are a little older, but nicely upgraded. The staff and maintenance team have been incredibly nice, helpful, and accommodating. Any time I've had questions, I've heard back within the same day. Also, the community is actively engaged in improvement, which I highly value. In the short time I've been there, they've installed more pet waste stations, increased the lighting at the bark park, installed speed humps to make the community safer, and now they've just announced that the whole community will be smoke free. That may put off some people, but my lungs appreciate it! They're repainting the parking lots this week. It just seems like the whole community is invested in being as safe and comfortable as possible. The location is convenient to many shops and restaurants and even though it's in a bustling neighborhood, I find the community itself very quiet and peaceful. Just the two cents of a new resident, but I'm very happy to call this home.

I have been a resident at The Regency for 2 years now. All of my maintenance requests are turned around within 24 -48 hours after they have been submitted and the new leasing manager Barry is very responsive and very helpful!!! I love this location because it is 10 minutes away from uptown. I enjoy living at this apartment complex!

The friends (people who manage all operations-they truly are a team) I have made include Barry, Hector, Laura, Raehanna, and Sheron...These people keep my home safe, operating, and beautiful! The clubhouse, office and fitness room are extensions of my home in a different building in this community I enjoy.

THE PERSONNEL AT THE REGENCY HAVE BEEN VERY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL DURING THIS STRESSFUL PERIOD. IN ADDITION TO BEING HELPFUL THEY ARE ALL VERY PLEASANT AND DEALING WITH THEM ONLY REINFORCING MY DECISION TO MOVE HERE. We have had a great experience living here at the Regency. The apartments are in a great location to get just about anywhere in Charlotte, and are very close to good shopping and good food. The current management here is great, they are very friendly and welcoming (especially Alicia and Raehanna, I always enjoy chatting with them.) The maintenance staff is very quick and responsive, we haven't had to wait more than a day for a request to be fulfilled. Our 2bd/2ba apartment is very spacious and well-maintained and our neighbors are very pleasant. I would definitely recommend The Regency if you are moving to Charlotte or within Charlotte.

We decided on Regency for many reasons.....The property was very well manicured and the upgrades to each unit. The most important reason that we decided to sign a lease was because of Laura! She was very knowledgeable, friendly and most of all very professional. We visited about 7 properties and NO ONE treated us anywhere close to how she did. I'm quite happy with my 2bd / 1 bath apartment, especially since the new manager Alicia took over. She got more done to fix the issues at the complex than the prior team, and communicated with us every step of the way. The kitchen is a dream (granite counter-tops, stainless steel sinks that are deep with a high arching faucet giving you room to work, updated appliances, etc.), they also installed smart technology thermostats which decreased my electric bill significantly, service requests are completed on time, there is plenty of room to walk my small dog and I've yet to meet a neighbor I didn't like (they are all awesome). Plus, I don't drive to work, I commute, either my using the bus stop directly in front of the complex or using a nearby park and ride. Definitely high quality and high class.

My first couple weeks living at the Regency were a nightmare, however, once the change in Management happened, let's just say life became much more tranquil. Ms. Andersons arrival brought peace of mind to my family and I. From the consistent communication via e-mail to timely manner of handling of any issue, Alicia's presence proves that having the right leader in place can make all the difference. You've found yourselves a keeper there.

We were residents of The Regency for almost 4 years, through 2 different management companies and extensive renovations. The renovated units are nicely updated (especially the kitchen) and, although the price increased significantly during our 4 years, rent is right at the average for Charlotte's apartment market. I always felt safe walking our dog throughout the community.. Alicia, the current community manager, excels at her job and is incredibly responsive and helpful with any issues or concerns.

I love the property Manager Alicia and her team. Since she started managing the property there has been more communication to the residents via email. I have also noticed that the grounds are much cleaner and well run. She has great follow up on issues and does whatever she can to ensure your needs are met as well as any and all problems resolved.
