Rates are going up, month to month is nearly $2,000, the promised improvements are incredibly slow and not worth it. There's a new fence around the dog park which was under construction a month, maintenance requests are ignored; office hours are non existent the app that you use to pay doesn't work properly and there's no notice prior to entering the apartments we received a noticed backdated by a day to appear we had 48 hour notice when we really had less than 24.

Then just this morning, my toilet handle broke. Cant flush. Theyve had new management like 4 times in the time Ive lived here. The current one might be the worst (Dasmen is what I think theyre called). Theyre open office hours arent 9-5 M-F and closed on weekends. What kind of sense does that make? Youre only open when most ppl are at work and not at all on weekends?!? Im beyond tired of this place. Im looking to move by September honestly. I dont care that my lease wont be up. This place sucks.

Im extremely disappointed in my experience here. The apartment complex is ran by slumlords. The apartments have severe water damage, infested with mold, infested with water bugs, dirty, management couldnt care less about the tenants. Of course they still expect their rent on time! Some tenants literally have ceilings that are falling down in large chunks. HUGE safety hazard. They tell us that we have to pay to break our leases. Management should honestly be dissolved and apartments should be condemned by the city. EVERYONE SHOULD STOP PAYING RENT!!! THATS WHAT IT WOULD TAKE TO GET THINGS FIXED AROUND HERE!!!!

I'm so sick of this place. I really thought this would be an ideal place to live due to the location bit its the complete opposite. Nothing gets fixed. There's no point of submitting work requests the maintenance person will never come. I've submitted numerous requests to have my ceiling fan fixed and my kitchen sink leaks terribly. I have pots at the bottom of my sink to catch the filthy water and disposal. I've called the office no one ever answers. I went to the office to talk to the manager and I watched her sit at her desk while the phone rang and she didn't answer it. I wish I never moved here period. And not to mention the pool is not open and its the end of June. Poor management no one takes responsibility. Apartment is falling apart. The key is to fix things promptly so that it doesn't get worse. Pretty soon these apartments won't be fit to rent. As much as the rent is you would think they would fix things promptly. The only thing consistent is the lawn care. I can't wait until my lease ends.

I've lived here almost a year and it's been a nightmare from day one. Thank goodness Brayden, Kody AND Brittney are all gone now; now let's just hope the new office staff can get it together. Andrea is great, and has always been, and the maintenance staff is alright too, although Charles freaks me out with his intrusiveness. At any rate, if they could get the disgusting waterbugs under control, and if they could be more efficient with the timelines of maintenance requests, that would be a plus. Also, they need to improve on answering the freakin phones bc you can literally never get through when you need to, unless you call 20 times in a row. Who has the time? During the winter months, my heat was out for 2.5-3 months and they gave me a space heater and told me to run my emergency heat. Ummmmm let's just say, I JUST got through paying my high a$$ energy bill as a result of that mess. It was the worst. Anyway, I'm reallyyyyyy hoping the new management is 500x better than the last, bc if they don't get it together, it's going to be hell to pay as long as I'm here.

Ive had consistent mold/mildew that appears in my tub ewww , the AC is always out & the entrance of my unit smells like urine and dog feces. I pay $800-900 a month living here by myself & have to come home to this. I dont understand how youre on time when it comes to passing out past due letters on people doors ,but cant get my orders in. Im so over this place its ridiculous. Ive had to buy a box fan for the time being & man this isnt working. I feel like Im about to pass out. What happens if I have a heat stroke & found unresponsive? Something to think about right ? Please get some new AC units & stop being so cheap. I cant even call in to place a order or make a complaint because they never pick up the phone. Speaking of a complaint I complained about seeing dog poop being outside my neighbors door for almost a month... They never informed the neighbors. Come on I had to enter my home seeing dried up dog poop. LISTEN dont sign the LEAST. Oh yeah one more thing we have ROACHES!! Smh but really S/O to the staff for doing what you can I understand its your job & the organization isnt structured. Everyone else skip these APARTMENTS.

Work orders never get completed, the office staff just brushes everything off, trash is often left in the parking lot and grass areas, and the people who live here could care less. They did switch our apartment from the original one we were supposed to move into last minute, because the people never moved out (not their fault) but i am even more happy with the one we got. Kody that used to be in the office hypes me up about moving here and I couldn't have been more happy (seems he is gone, which he and and Brittany in the office were the ONLY ONES I LIKED DEALING with). Anyway, after being here for 2 years I cannot WAIT to get away from here. My apartment smelled like cat piss when I first moved in, cat hair was EVERYWHERE, even on the sliding glass door. Including scratches on the counter from a cat from the last resident that stayed here. Told the maintenance guy that was here at the time and he jumped on the issue quickly. Sprayed some sort of spray and the smell went away....for 2 days. With the air on, the cat piss still lingered. That let me know they didn't even pull the carpet up and put in new carpet as they should have. I called the office and was told that I, ME had to call and get the carpet cleaned and pay $50. Ummm excuse me? Pay what? Not my problem. That should have been done beforehand. Next issue, the door. My door has been fixed about 6 or 7 times. Air was coming through, then it was hard to shut, then it was hard to lock, to the point where I am now pushing the screws in and slamming the door everytime I lock it. And oh boy, if you like waterbugs aka BIG ROACHES in the summer time, you're in for a treat. Not only are you greeted in the walkways and stairwells by them, they will also be chilling in your bathroom, closet, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. I stressed that issue and was told "nothing they can do". I was asleep with my daughter and just so happened to wake up to one crawling in my bed!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention, between this past week, I've killed 8 or 9 ladybugs, 3 weird looking bugs, and about 2 other weird bugs. I just killed 2 before I typed this. Some of my ceiling in my bedroom is falling, also it's patches of ceiling falling in my bathroom which I told Kody about....LAST SUMMER. Also told him about my bathroom floor coming up by the tub. You think that got fixed? NOPE! and man oh man! Last summer, I had no air for 10 days!!! They bring a portable air conditioner or whatever it was to cool my apartment. Now imagine being on the 3rd floor, no curtains but blinds up, in 85 to 90 degree weather, sun BEAMING in your window with your SMALL CHILD screaming every night Mommie I'm hot, I'm hot and all you got is a box fan and a portable air unit cooling her off (which even the lady who works for coprate said and I quote "that doesn't do anything") JUST HOT. Finally after talking ALOT AND I MEAN ALOT OF JUNK,also submitting emails about the maintenance requests to corporate (lady I spoke with was sweet, can't remember her name right now) they replace my unit which they should have done in the first place because it was old anyway. Then as the fall winter months hit, I had NO HEAT smh. They give me a desk heater to heat up my apartment until they fixed the heat. Smh really? A desk heater? After they fixed the heat, I looked to see if the air works. Smh now my heat works but when it gets hot, I'm back to NO AIR. Talk about a dumb move. I've dealt with TOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH to stay here. I can put in a maintenance issue right now and it STILL won't be fulfilled. Every issue I have stated I have PICTURES AND VIDEOS OF, down to the bugs i killed, videos of weird bugs, pictures of all my apartment issues. I also have all the work orders I put in since last year. Save yourself the headache and move somewhere else. It's not worth the headache. I hate these apartments so much. If you can, MOVE ELSEWHERE! They take noise complaints LIGHTLY. Also everything about the apartments are horrible the people in the office pretty much have no clue on how to run apartments hence the turnover. They dont fix issues. Parking is horrible just everything is horrible, gym is horrible, laundromat is horrible JUST EVERYTHING IS HORRIBLE AND PITIFUL!

Since the new property management company took over, the customer service from EVERYONE down to the Regional Manager, Stephanie, just absolutely suck. They do not have your best interest in hand, they are there to steal from your pockets. I was told rent would only go up 2-3% if I res-signed my lease, and it jumped up 6%. That's a lot of money to ask for from some people. The office personnel do not take your complaints seriously. Like dogs barking all day and all night, literally. They said "the only way to make this a legit complaint is to call after hours and have the Courtesy Officer check"... well, if the officer can check, then send someone from the office to check! The property itself is supposed to be gated and I've been told for a year and a half that they're working on it. I've also been told for the same amount of time that they're working on extending the gym operating hours which hasn't happened. The maintenance crew are about the only good thing about this place, but I'd rather be homeless. **1/9/2018 update: Apparently there's a new manager, and while Frances wasn't the most competent, the new guy is certainly THE WORST of them all. This place was good when they weren't Drucker & Faulk. My move-out has been one of THE MOST stressful experiences I've ever had in moving, and that's coming from someone who moved from out of state. About a month ago I put in a maintenance request to have a drawer front fixed. I received a voicemail stating they didn't have a key to get into my apartment. I called back asking why they don't have a key, I've submitted requests before and there's never been an issue, and I was told, "I don't know the reason why, I just know we can't get in to fix the problem unless we have a key"... that's absolutely terrifying and concerning. If someone at that complex lost a set of keys, or an employee took them when they left, then you should have changed some locks and notified all tenants involved, because you're jeopardizing everyone's safety. I stand by my statement that you should avoid this place; if they keep working like this, they're not going to keep 95% occupancy like they have written on their goal board.

When I first moved here everything was great. There was a man that worked in the office that was always nice and made sure that everything was fine. For some reason he no longer works here and the rest of the staff are horrible. I had to call about a trash can that was sitting outside for months so they could figure out whose it was or remove it. After they picked it up i ended up with a note on my door saying i was violating the valet trash service. When I called about it, the unprofessional assistant manager was rude and lied and said my neighbors received letters also. I have neighbors that leave their trash cans outside all day everyday but never get a letter. Then i called to see if i receives a package and the young boy told me over the phone no. When I checked the tracker it said delivered so i called again and the rude unprofessional girl at the desk told me it was there. So i asked the question did it just get delivered or did he lie. Instead of answering the question she got an attitude saying they sometimes get more than one delivery which didnt answer my question. Once my lease is up i will definitely not be staying here with the rude unprofessional staff. I would not recommend anyone to live here.

If you want a negligent maintenance staff, an office staff that screens your phone calls, and a community that allows 18 wheelers to squat in the back of the parking lot with no concern for your safety, you will want to rent here. I lived here from 2015 - 2017, I never had problems with the complex until 2017 which included maintenance leaving me multiple days without AC in the middle of the summer with a small animal in my apartment, an 18 wheeler with two adults and a child under 1 living in the back of the parking lot, and being lied to by the office staff when I broke my lease about when I should vacate my apartment and if it was rented. This complex is making it by purely having decent prices and available units however if you can afford $100 more, go over to River Birch or the Reserve. Within the office, I had great experiences with Brittany and Kody as they were always upfront and honest with me but it seems like the office is set up for failure. They don't have the information you ask for to allow you to feel secure being in a legal contract with them. I recommend ownership to take a strong look at this complex's day to day. The first time someone ever explained the whole process I would be going through breaking my lease was the District Manager when I was almost in tears in the office (over a month after I had given the notice to terminate my lease). This was due to breaking my lease and being told there was someone to rent it so I signed another lease, I was then informed no one was renting my apartment and I was in the situation of paying 2 rents due to an error on Andover's part. Like I've said, great experience prior to 2017 and I was happy to call this place home for 2 years but ultimately, it's going to shambles.

Terrible horrible customer service in the office!! I've been here for two years in a two bedroom with my cousin. We have never been late on rent never gave the office any problems at all. We even decide to stay in the community and move into our own one bedroom apartments. To make the move smooth we started the process to transfer three months in advance. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!! They lost the application had to reprint check stubs. The only thing they didn't misplace was their deposite. The apartment wasn't ready until two days after the welcome letter date. I moved all my things when the one bedroom was "ready" new couches new washer and dryer all my clothes etc. Just to find out there was a ROACH INFESTATION ! I moved in on a Friday so I was told my issue couldn't be looked at until Tuesday when the manager is back in the office! I bomb the apartment three times still roaches everywhere. My couches now have roaches in the inside of my brand new still wrapped in plastic couches. I even asked for corporate number and was told the manager has to give it to me. This is just terrible and I will never suggest anybody to move to this complex. The people in the office don't ever know what they are doing always confused and giving different information. I wish I never moved over here this has cost me days I had to call out of work money to bomb the apartment myself I wrapped all my belongings in plastic myself. I haven't got a call or anything from the manager. I would consider this an emergency and nobody has reached out. I'm happy I have family here because if not I would be living with roaches!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE.!!

This is my first oneline review Ever!!!! I have read most of the reviews on here and the 2.0 star needs to be lower. As of June 23 2017 I have not had any AC. Today is July 3 20017.I have had some attempts to fix my ac unit but failed results. I also read that the office employees are unprofessional and rude ect.That's FALSE Speaking with Brayden And Francine (spelling may be wrong) they were more than courteous and made me feel like they cared and was willing to do what they could to help remedy my issues.I was given a portable unit to help. I slept on my couch and when i got up i stepped on to a wet carpet because the unit was not installed correctly and when i went to fix the dripping i found baby roaches crawling out of it. It's 's very obvious that office employees are set up for failure and not given the tools they need to fix all of our issues in Andover. The Owners of the property either have no clue (I don't know how because the reviews are online for every one to read) or they just don't care? I know first hand how it is to come into a position thats is utter chaos and not have the tools to make the correct adjustment to remedy the problems. Also The odors of weed is all through out the property the thugs that hang around in the parking lot, playing loud music parking and blocking cars in...Is out of control.To the people smoking weed have some respect for others around you. It's embarrassing to have your family to come over and the first thing they smell is YOUR weed. Smoke in your own private area. Again I believe in being fair. So understand if you own a community and your making your tenants pay 1,000's please make them feel like a thousand bucks when they need your attention. I have had about everything I can take from Andover Woods. Back in late February I started calling several times a week to ask for my new lease information, but kept being told the manager is working on it. If I am forced to give a 60 day notice that information should be given to me before the 60 days prior to my lease ending which was May 3rd. I continued to call until the middle of March when I finally received the information. By then it was too late for me to find another apartment due to my work from home account that needs time to be transferred, my children's school and the short time to do anything. I called in multiple occasions to speak about the increase and how the online listing for the same apt size was only 795.00/month, I was told that there was nothing they could do for me and if I wanted to move to the less expensive apt (same size) I would have to pay a transfer fee. I have reported maintenance issues several times since the first week of April and only the window was fixed. I should not have to keep calling for the same things over and over again. I went to the office on my lunch break to speak with the manager last week about all of this and you were at lunch, a lady that was at the first desk took my info and said she will have her call me and I never got a call. At this point I am tired and feel like you as a company dropped the ball too many times. I have a job and children to worry about and this is really the end of my patience. Had to get the regional manager involved via email and that was worse than the local staff. she called me and asked what was happening as if she did not know what was the issue, I asked if she read my email and she said that she gets so many emails a daily as if mine was just one more. I asked her to shorten my lease so I don't have to break it, since I have never had to break a lease in my life and her response was that there was nothing she could do for me.

What makes the situation worse is the fact that they KNOW that the AC unit is busted but will not do more than a band aid fix . No issues with the maintenance team because they're great guys...but the front office DO NOT TRUST them. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO ANDOVER WOODS There are SEVERAL other communities avoid this community. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200 dollars. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID

Don't live here. Don't even live here if this is your last resort. Since the new property management company took over, the customer service from EVERYONE down to the Regional Manager, Stephanie, just absolutely suck. They do not have your best interest in hand, they are there to steal from your pockets. I was told rent would only go up 2-3% if I res-signed my lease, and it jumped up 6%. That's a lot of money to ask for from some people. The office personnel do not take your complaints seriously. Like dogs barking all day and all night, literally. They said "the only way to make this a legit complaint is to call after hours and have the Courtesy Officer check"... well, if the officer can check, then send someone from the office to check! The property itself is supposed to be gated and I've been told for a year and a half that they're working on it. I've also been told for the same amount of time that they're working on extending the gym operating hours which hasn't happened. The maintenance crew are about the only good thing about this place, but I'd rather be homeless.

I have been a tenant here since august of 2016, Great community to live in. Maintenance has been great as well, Office personal is nice too. Everybody has there flaws but compared to some of the places I have rented from this one has been much better and I lived in Charlotte since 2011. I just wish apartments didn't go up on their rent so much. When you get good Tenants that pay their rent on time and keep their place up and no complaints that should really count for something.

To start for what you get this place is overpriced and not worth it the gate which they promised would be fixed soon hasn't worked fully the entire year I've lived here. The maintenance crew seldom fixes anything more likes rigs things the first two to three months of my stay my cabinets were rotted and decade and took like I said three months to be replaced my ceiling leaked for a month before they so call fixed it couldn't put the A/C past 65 or the pipes would freeze then leak out the vent when they thaw of course the apartment they showed me wasn't the one I moved into because no way I would've accepted it like that my car was towed by a company they employ because it was beside the curb for a hour while I tended to my daughter and they management turned a blind eye because they have the power to have told them to release my car if they wanted to and last but not least the worst part is the bugs walking into your apartment is like a safari trip the stinkbugs bees and wasps are the worst plus the staff is friendly until you need them to do there job

So far I am very pleased with my experiences with Andover Woods Apartment homes. I was having lots of trouble finding a new one bedroom apartment in my price range, and no other complexes seem to really care. Upon speaking to Nicole, a leasing agent with Andover Woods, I knew right away this would be the right place for me. I appreciate the care she took in making sure I felt confident about moving into this complex. Neighborhood is nice, amenities are great (pool especially), and I am happy to have found this neighborhood!

I am a current resident of Andover Woods. I love the physical establishment. The community is kept very clean. I like my apartment. It is in great condition and no repairs to complain. What I dislike are most of the ground maintenance crew. All of them that I've encountered (all except the lil elderly Black gentleman), are very rude and intrusive. I am a single female and I always catch one of them staring in a violating manner which makes me feel extremely uncomfortable. There have been times where I wanted to confront them and at times even call the police. I have lived in several nice communities in all my years in Charlotte and never have experienced this type of perversion. My only recommendation to Andover Woods are to find ground workers that are professional and not offensive in their mannerisms to women. Thank you.

I had been living here close to a year and its management is very poor..they dot come to fix stuff when its broken...nothing its done with so many calls and notices form me to come to fix fridge from licking..damaging floors in the kitchen due to this problem from the beginning...i am ready for this lease to be over so i can move far away from here and specially they wont keep my security and make me pay extra for their own negligence. mail boxes deliveries are very poor..they keep the packages for many days cant find them and its absolute disorganized system..very appeal for their response how they serve this complex!!
