Mold in my apartment. two days before started to correct it. never refunded for days unable to stay there due to kilz or mold. Several run ins with Office Manager. After 8 months of living there Office Manager decided it was a Big Big Issue because my husband wasn't on lease and she told him he didn't need to be there. When i went to Office with mold. I was told to Schedule appointment.

These morons decided it would be a good idea to go for a jog around the apartment complex after dark wearing black and dark bllue clothes it's dark as hell i almost backed iver the guy at the gate and after apologizing to him i almost run over his girlfriend running infront of my car im at the gate trying to put in the code to get into the complex i can barely see and you want to run arpund in the dark with absolutely no bright or reflective clothing. You MORONS.
Very nice apartments. But for guest to enter or leave is almost impossible because of security gates they do not open automatically when you go to exit .
Alot of money for a small apartment but on 280 gated community with clubhouse pool gym dog park car wash nice area
Nice apartments for the most part, gated community. Spent a year here. The pools and workout center are a plus.

Although I have just moved in to 14, I absolutely love the place. Alll the people are nice, the owners are amazing; two pools, a gym, two wifi lounges, and more. I highly recommend! Would cost 3.5k+ in out west.

Poor leasing office service. When I moved in, the apartment was dirty. My feet were black after walking around the apartment for 35minutes. Cockroaches are everywhere in the parking lots at night from May until October. Poor insulation (can feel drafts through front door and patio door), can hear everything from neighbors in every direction. Smoke would come into my apartment from my neighbor smoking on the balcony. To get the resident referral, you literally have to harass them and finally get the referral 6 months after the referral had moved in.
The maintenance staff is great when you have a service request, usually there within 3 days.
When moving out, the leasing office agent told me a package I had arriving a few days after I moved out would be accepted and I could pick up (as the shipping was delayed due to the holiday). When I went to pick it up two days after USPS had delivered, the leasing office agent said sorry we dont have it. I said the tracking number said the leasing office accepted it at 402pm on Saturday. Her response was sorry I wasnt here on Saturday and we dont have it, we wouldnt have accepted it Bc we would see you werent in our system. USPS said it was accepted there and not refused so now I have to open a case against the leasing office. One week after I had turned in my keys, I received a phone call from the manager stating they didnt receive my keys. Luckily I had proof I had given them my keys and gate key fob or I may have been charged outrageous fees. The managers response was oh okay the agent must of just put them in her desk and forgot to finish the paperwork....??? Frustrating that there is such a lack of communication with this place amongst their employees.
This place is a nightmare and I feel bad for referring one of my classmates here. Save yourself the headache and go to one of the other complexes with better living quality and customer service.

Your money is better spent elsewhere.
For starters, my pipes have been making a horrendous sound for 6 months. Maintenance, bless their hearts, have been trying to fix it.... but they cant. Eventually, I just stopped hearing from management about what they were going to do to remedy my situation.
Next, I have a neighbor above me who likes to vacuum all hours of the night and early morning. When I called the office and asked about quiet hours, I was told that technically, this complex does not have quiet hours. So my neighbor can vacuum at 5 in the morning; or hammer things into a wall at 3:00am like they did last night, and I cant do a thing about it.
Also, Im currently not getting notifications about packages being delivered to the front office. Every time I bring this to the staffs attention, Im asked if Ive checked my spam and if they have the correct email address. But thats after Im told, if you didnt get an email, you dont have a package. When I insisted one was delivered, I got a long sigh and was told to hold on. Low and behold, I had a package.
I also had an issue with my AC going out a couple of times. It was fixed both times, but I asked for a new AC unit.... a reliable unit. I was told that until theyre not able to fix it, I cant have a new one. Forget the fact that my dog and I went two days in an 82 degree apartment... its still a reliable unit, so you dont get a new one.
I have lived here for over 4 years, and while the grounds are looking better, the service is not. I have inquired about some sort of discount because there are many nights when I cannot a sleep in my bedroom due to the pipes or my neighbor vacuuming, but I was told they dont offer compensation for that. So instead, I get to pay for a 2 bedroom, but can only sleep in one bedroom on a regular basis.
I have incredibly loud pipes, a neighbor that has no quiet hours to abide by, a sometimes working AC unit, and I pay over $1000 a month. But hey! At least my building is getting a new roof!

I think my 2 stars is being generous.
Mia with the office staff is outstanding! She is incredibly helpful and really goes above and beyond for tenants. Thank you again, Mia!

I am so upset right now. I am a new resident to 150 Summit Apartments. There was a huge spider in my apartment as big as a man's palm. I called the leasing office and spoke with the leasing manager. Asking her to send someone to kill it. She said no and laughed at me. I understand that no one was available to help me but to laugh in my face was so unprofessional. Also I never received a call to see if the situation had been handled or if I was alright.
Great amenities, easy access to great shopping and the interstate.. apartments are in excellent condition and there is a top notch maintenance staff.

I have lived at 150 Summit for over 3 years, and have seen a real difference when the current management company took over. They are very responsive to my requests, notify residents when there will be a change or construction, and are very friendly when I go in to pick up packages. Also, they put on a monthly social event for residents to get to know one another. They have been kind, generous, and seem to care about their residents. I recommend this property highly!

I absolutely LOVE living here at 150 Summit! There are so many amenities and you can't beat the location! I can walk to shop or dine, or if I need to drive somewhere, I'm just a short distance from anywhere I want to go! Beautiful apartments and beautiful property!

Renting here as corporate housing and i absolutely love it. Beautiful property. 2 pools, a gym, trash service, gated, and directly behind a mall. We have a 1 bedroom which is perfect. Roomy enough. Nice kitchen, decent bathroom. Closet could be bigger. Fairly open floor plan. I'm happy.

Disappointed with how my lease has turned out thus far. I moved in thinking that an issue with a leaky toilet was resolved, but it wasn't and now I am left to pay the outrageous water bill when the issue should've been solved before move in day. In addition, the employee/customer interaction is very rude. I tried to pick up a package left at the front office and the employee refused to give me my package that I paid extra for one day shipping. Unbelieveable. The employee said "it's time for me to go home, I can't help you" then proceeded to shut the door in my face. Extremely unprofessional. I do not recommend 150 Summit. You will experience rude customer service and your utility bills will range from $150-$300 for water and $150+ for power in a 2 bedroom apartment. Zero accountability found here. Look elsewhere.
These apartments are beautiful and so convenient to everything!

I've lived here for a little over a year and have had little to no issues with the place. The property is kept clean, rent is easy to pay, the staff is nice. It's pretty quiet and everyone seems pretty respectful of each others space. Any issues that were in this community and complex a few years ago seem mostly gone. The only issue I've had is that maintenance doesn't seem to answer the online requests. Now if we have a request we just call in and it gets handled much quicker.

Just moved here 2 weeks ago. Air-condition has went out twice, first time it was fixed same day second time... well tbd. Bathtub had yellow spot in it when moved in still does, front door has dents all over it & door to porch seems to have some rotting wood. Breeze ways have flies due to trash being left out. Staff has been friendly up front in my interaction just disappointed in some of the above issues.

Move from Dallas to Birmingham and I got recommended to live here. I love the complex and the locations is great. The office staff is friendly and they do a great job keeping the apartments safe and clean. The maintenance staff is great Arthur and Debi are amazing.
I just wish they will consider making a small area for dogs (gated)
Can't wait for summer and enjoy the pool

I have been living at 150 Summit for 5 years now. The location is amazing and convenient to anywhere in town. Over the years, there have been some ups and downs with the management, but the current company is hands down the best! They are always so friendly whenever I'm in the leasing office. They introduce themselves, which to me is important. I feel like I know them now. The staff is quick to handle any maintenance issues when they occur and they seem like they really care about their residents. I wouldn't live anywhere else!

Complaints of the rude office staff are not made up. You do have a one or two that are quite nice, but the majority act as if you're an inconvenience to them. They have very poor communication skills as well. Trash cans are provided for the mandatory $30 a month trash service, and are to be left outside at certain times and all trash must be put inside the very small trash cans. Failure to obey results in a $25, and if trash is outside the can, another $25 per bag. My trash can was taken from me due to me forgetting it outside, and I was not told why it was taken, and when I called they had no idea why it was taken either. Weeks later, I was fined for putting my trash outside and not in the can, the can which they took and had no idea why they took it.
They state they like to keep a good appearance to the complex, but the back parking lot is covered in trash, containers, crates, etc for this long drawn out remodel they're doing. People in the building behind me do not even have a place to park at night because of this, and are forced to park on the side of the street.
DO NOT think all the bad reviews are from pissed off people, these reviews are not exaggerated, I would personally stand behind every complaint I see written about them.

Do not rent here! We live here part time and have a place in another state. We only needed something for a few nights during the week, but have had many unresolved issues from the District at the Summit. On top having a rude office, (after you sign your lease of course) we were promised a nice apartment with granite countertops and replaced flooring, but they did warn us it would be a 'couple' of weeks for the granite install because of shipping. The flooring is wood colored linoleum? Yes, linoleum, I didn't think they made that any longer? And we are still waiting on the granite. It has been 5 months so we pretty much know that will never happen but do not ask the office staff about the granite they promised. They will look at you with an annoyed look and say "it will be here when it gets here". Wow! Five months? The bathtub faucet never works properly, we just gave up after 3 service calls. Plan to spend an extra 5 minutes getting the water adjusted so that it is not arctic or scouring to your skin. It's not the same way two times in a row. The maintenance guys are great and very nice but can only work with what they are given. The AC has been worked on, at minimum, 5 times in 5 months. And remember, we are here only part time. The air, at least, is working at the moment. (holding our breathe) NO one here picks up their dog waste and there are plenty of large dogs in this complex. So no nighttime running or walking in any grassy areas or even on concrete. Last night we came in and two good size dog droppings were on the concrete entry hallway to our apt. Who doesn't notice their dog taking a restroom break in a lit hallway? No rules are enforced here on dog waste! That, combined with the garbage smell is awesome to come home to at the end of the day. This complex 'offers' (mandatory 30.00/mo above quoted rent) curbside garbage pick up. This means all your neighbors place smelly, leaking garbage bags outside the doors and you (and any guest you may have) get to walk past several gross sites before arriving in your apt. (remember the dog gifts) The office says they provide cans, however they do not stay around long, I'm thinking folks may take them for indoor use and in addition, they are very small and not used when outside. We have never received a garbage can from the office. Again, remember we have been here 5 months. We will NEVER entertain. Its embarrassing and we cannot wait for our lease to end. We may even buy it out. The gym has NO air conditioning so during hot months, (in Bham that's about 9 months a yr) plan on losing a ton of weight sweating it off in the gym which also never gets cleaned. These apartments are very old, definitely not worth the rent, but we chose them because of convenience. Do not make the same mistake we made. There are some incredibly nice, open, and spacious apartments on Lakeshore. We should have went with them! I have pictures to back up every complaint but I'm not sure they would care.
