I had the misfortune of planning my move to Albuquerque right in the middle of the Pandemic, things were definitely confusing. Cassandra was exceptional at helping make my move from another state as easy as possible....and it wasn't easy. I was basically moving to an apartment sight unseen, Cassandra offered to send me a video of the two units that were available, focusing on the things that were important to me, even discussing safety concerns that I had. After submitting a deposit and choosing the unit that best fit my needs, my application was denied....sad face. Cassandra worked with me by suggesting other options that would help get my paperwork approved, with COVID, unemployment, an out of state move, it was a complicated process, but we finally got approval. Yay!! But now for the real stress...moving in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. Both Cassandra and Debbie worked with my time frame, even prorating my first months rent. I was thrilled to find that one of my concerns about having a door opening onto the street had been addressed with the addition of a security chain....thanks Jeff!
I have now been here a little over six months, I truly love the property! Obviously no communal living is perfect, I've had a few issues with noise from a neighbor, but management has always been receptive to my complaints. All maintenance issues are handled quickly and professionally. Debbie even helped with my paperwork so that I could qualify for the COVID Relief Apartment Fund, thankfully I was able to receive three months free rent from the state. All this AND an amazing cafe downstairs!!! James makes great coffee and fabulous baked goods, he even takes requests!! It was very scary moving into an apartment that I had actually never seen, in a city where I knew no one, but I'm very happy to say that everything worked out better then I could have expected. I will continue to live here as long as they allow me.
