I have been here almost a year. I found it to be very nice and quiet here. I love my apartment. Christy (the lady that works in the office ) is very nice and knows what she is doing when it comes to issues. The maintenance man when I moved in (Kenny) was very nice and helpful. I could trust him to go into my apartment when I wasn't home. There were times I had to go out of town and he would watch my apartment. But now I don't know any of the new maintenance men. Not sure if they knock on the door if they work here. I think the older kids needs another place to play and the playground is junk and the wood I'd rotted. It's not safe for the kids to play on. Bring back Kenny as the maintenance man. Other than that I have enjoyed my home here and I plan to renew my lease. Thank you Christy for making me feel welcome when I come into the office.

I moved here early 2012. I moved from another state and fell completely in love with the apartments, the staff was wonderful, the community, things were taken care of in a timely fashion. I did have a few issues with some teen children but were handled well by the security person they had at the time. The area in general is nice, it is fairly close to the mall, Walmart, hospitals. It has a lovely magnet school in the zone as well. Over the last year and a half or two, things have really went down hill. They have raised my rent almost $100 since moving in and not only are they raising the rent but they not really making them any better to be worth that increase. The park is falling apart and a danger if kids jump on it enough. The pool is in a sister complex, not very convenient. Not for the types of increases that have taken place. This was not an issue as not something I use because of its distance, however with a $100 increase I would expect more out of the place. When I moved to another apartment in the same complex they gave me a horrible fridge that leaked and was rusted and instead of fixing it they just shot some freeon in it and painted over the rust. After complaining I finally did get a better one though. About a year ago the air conditioning system outside of my window "exploded" and caught on fire. They didn't replace the system. I have currently been dealing with the ac now leaking inside of my apartment for about 6 weeks now with mold and not being able to even use my closet, it went a good 2 weeks not being touched at all. They seem to have several of these issues going on. My ac stopped working recently and they were quick to come, the wiring in the ac that exploded was mentioned but then brushed off. My light bill has doubled due to all of these issues. I had my vehicle stolen also when two kids went through a window that I had complained over a year about fixing. (I have several things I have asked for for years and not dealt with. While some small, a rent increase that much, it deserves to be worth it.) When the car was stolen they came immediately the next day and claimed my window was fine, despite the police officer telling them it wasn't. There are probably serval other instances I could think of. I give it two stars as I arrived here and have had some years of really great experience with the place, however the last few have been a major disappointment.
