My boyfriend and I were about to have a baby so we got into these apartments , worst decision EVER made especially when your about to have a kid or have kids . First night of living there our bathroom sink broke and was leaking water every where and called emergency maintence and no one ever came until the next day when I could call the office . When my son was a newborn maybe 2 months old we went and got over $100 in groceries and a couple days later our fridge went out we called emergency maintence cause this was when the office was closed and no one EVER came so all that food went bad and they never offered to take money off our rent for all that food that was wasted and the maintence guy brings me a fridge and leaves so I check inside and its covered in mold and black mold . So they brought me that knowing I have a newborn baby expected me to clean that mold infected fridge and take care of my newborn son . If your bringing a tenant an appliance its only right you make sure its clean before taking it into somebodys apartment what kind of decency do they have to leave that somewhere where a newborn child is . And my kitchen light broke one day and it took then 3 DAYS to come and fix it so for 3 DAYS I couldnt cook for me and my family or even do anything in the kitchen And there is dead and live firebugs I found a couple of HUGE black beetles and even earwigs and we lived in the top floor . Saturday was the 2nd rent is due the 3rd well my boyfriend went to take rent about an hour before the office is Schueduled to close to take rent and there was nobody there so the office was closed early when they werent supposed to be and guess who had to pay a late fee ? Sure as the hell not them . All these people care about is their money they dont care about their tenants safety and damn well not the safety of the children there . Absolutely disgusting and the people have no decency . Why they would bring a mold infested fridge into the house of a newborn baby just blows my mind . I hope from reading this review you think long and hard about coming here pretty sad they would risk a baby getting sick from mold . They clearly dont have any respect for families or children . I would NEVER EVER bring a child into these apartments again . Takes 3 days to fix a light and they bring applicances that are absolutely disgusting and not eatable out of they dont even care about the apartments that people are PAYING MONEY TO RENT from them. I feel like a horrible parent for even letting my kid live somewhere like that . I will be posting pictures as well as this review. And Im pretty sure the reviews below me are fake because NOBODY could love living here . The way they take care of their residents this place should be deemed as unliveable. And also my windshield got shot at with a BB gun and I got it fixed and it got shot again a week later and also my boyfriends car window also got shot at with a BB gun so thats 3 different times living in these apartments !!!!!
Dont leave in this apartments because they charge too much utilities bills and dont give enough storage. They also have problem if you keep storage containers your on patio.

Been here 2 years now with my two little boys and I honestly love it. We're right by the pool, and they keep the pool clean, which is great because I'm kinda OCD. Every problem I ever had: got a new dishwasher, got a new disposal. Everything else in the apartment has been just fine. It's still West Valley though, but that's not their fault. I'm about to sign another lease so I'm hoping for a new fridge next lol

Why is the company even paying him, he yelled at my kids just rude and disrespectful.. The apartments have 50 years of layers of paint on the walls, the water pipes are so old our sink pipes literally crumbled to dust due to being so rusty. The first building is covered with roaches. They are well over charged for what you get. The mold under the layers of paint so ridiculous. Don't move there if you got kids, definitely harming amount of mold.The mainence is just as bad. They take forever to get anything done and they half way fix your problem. They don't care about they're tenants, and with the corp. lady being a wife to manger; you get no where. And being half the reviews on here come from the mainance guy should say something. I'm sure like the rest of the bad reviews this one too will be deleted. If you rent here or are thinking about it, good luck.. You never pay what they say. And if you renew your lease that rent goes up every time you sign that paper..

Ive lived at Aspenwood for a few months now, and have ZERO complaints! And to those of you out there having difficulty finding a place such as I did- theyre *FELON FRIENDLY!! *Depending on your charges, know what Im sayin?! Since day one they have been great to me; have answered all of my questions, are prompt with maintenance requests (regardless of what others may think- Tyson-youre awesome, thanks for your help!!), and they even purchased me a new microwave when they noticed mine was an absolute eye sore!! Thanks much to DeAndre (youve been extremely helpful&are always in an upbeat/uplifting mood!),& rest of the crew here thats made Aspenwood an enjoyable place to call home!

Best place ever to call home. I highly recommend it to everyone out there who are looking for the same thing . Everyone is caring and kind to each other and it's a very pet friendly environment for everyone. I love it the moment I came here. Izzy and DeAndre are very nice people in the office, they're kind, respectful and professional in everything they do. They know when you need help and they are there as soon as possible to the work done. There's a play ground right in the front of my apartment for my niece to play and a pool where we go swim at on hot summer days. It's just perfect, beautiful place. I don't regret a single moment living here.

I have been here for 9 years and would recommend Aspenwood Apartments to any of my family or friends. I needed a bottom floor because of medical reasons and was put in a ground floor apartment by the office. They have a pool that I can enjoy taking all of my grandbabies to and know they are safe
When I tell maintenance I have any problems they order what they need and repair things as soon as possible. The neighbor's have been awesome also.
My grandkids can go out to play and be safe on the property because we all are looking out for each others children.
I like it here and plan on this being the last residence I may need.
I have a few pets and they have been treated awesome! I have a little dog that darts out the door and is really fast. When it happens a bunch of kids catch it for me. I also have a large macaw that is real loud. She yells, screaches, and she will talk to people. Very pet friendly!

I lived in these apartments for two years (Jan. 2015 - Jan. 2017). I found them to be actually pretty nice. I know, many people have left poor reviews here, but I wanted to give them an honest review. As follows is my experience here.
The main manager, D'Andre I believe his name is, is one kick ass dude. Seriously, I only interacted with him ten or so times during my time living in these apartments, but the guy is super positive, always willing to help and way understanding if you can meet him halfway - even still, he's the kind of person that will go above and beyond to make sure you're happy. The rest of the management team... I don't have many good things to say about them. There were two or three other people that worked there during those two years and they were unpleasant, and lazy (Frequently the office was closed thirty minutes ahead of their posted hours, which made paying rent a pain in the ass sometimes). I didn't interact with them much, but there are better employees to be had for sure - C'mon D'Andre, you can do better than that!
The apartments are way outdated, don't have a dishwasher and mold can be a problem. HOWEVER, the one I lived in was well-maintained, given it's age (my buddy's mother lived in these apartments back in her mid 20's). They are REALLY spacious, tons of cupboard room, etc. There is a laundry facility on site, but there is something like two sets of washer and dryers so obviously they are always full. My two bedroom apartment had a big storage room that doubled as a laundry room, so I was super thankful for that. The patio/decks are bigger than most other apartments too!
The only incident I can think of is a neighbor (below us) filed a noise complaint against us once; we were super quiet because my brother and I worked bizarre hours and we wanted to be courteous, so it was kind of annoying that one would be filed against us. Later that day, our next door neighbor admitted fault and management was quick to rescind the complaint against us. The people below us were not liked by most of the people in the building, but there are always pissy people like them at any apartment you'll live in. The rest of the tenants were super cool. There was this one family that always sat out on their front patio, smoking a cigarette or whatever, and would just say hi and ask about your day - pretty laid back environment, despite being smack in the heart of WVC.
It's a good place - especially when in regards to it's location. I would recommend them for anyone looking for a cheap place, with little expectation, who likes a 'mind your own business' kind of mindset (in my opinion, a very good thing as far as apartments go). The move in and move out process was painless and we weren't charged for any trivial things. I actually miss my time here, believe it or not!

He knows what he's doing and he's a sharp sum *****. DeAndre is confident, honest, loyal and I'll tell you what I trust him, by god. The maintenance staff are always running to take care of people in a way I've never seen! Maintenance supervisor is superb and hands down the best I've seen not only fixing issues (big or small) but making the residents feel respected. I'd give it a 10 out of 5 stars!

Outdated apartment for a high rent price! It's ridiculous!! They tell you it's $720 for one bedroom after two months bills start coming in the mail . My husband and I are paying separate utility bill from our regular Rocky Mountain and Questar. And then there's a separate utility bill from aspenwood apartments for $150 or more includes in the rent! It's expensive! We are basically paying $990 a month for rent with unnecessary stuff there adding to our rent every month! Thats like paying for a brand new apartment! When we frist moved in mostly everything wasn't working! The shower head was broken and we had to go buy a new one and the toilet was broken also . Called the front desk and the maintenance guy came thru! (His super nice) but everything should have been fixed before I moved in! I'm so glad we moved out of there!! Totally ripped off living here . They also make you pay cable even thou you don't want it ! They also charge you maintenance fee for every time they come and fix things at the apartment!!! When I really don't know why I even made a deposit !!!!!!!! Or paying rent insurances on top of it! I wish I could give this place a zero star .

I have lived at this property for 3 years. DeAndre and his staff are friendly, fast , helpful, and reliable when it comes to apartment repairs, moving you in, and finding places you need in the area you live in. The neighbors are the same, too. Aspenwood Apartments is a great place for you and your family and pets. If you name it, they pretty much have it for you. They have security available to handle complaints after the office closes. They take care of noise issues, suspicious activity and watch the property to prevent crimes. They take excellent care of the landscaping.

Apartments are okay. Need some repairs, some counters and screen doors and closet doors replaced. Too noisy at nights with kids and their parents in the playground. Rent gets increased every time the lease is renewed. Get fees for "services" not used or asked for or informed of. Tolerable if you keep your head down and your mouth shut. If you don't have a washer and dryer the office has 2 to service the whole complex. Expect police to make regular appearances at the complex. Highly low income Tennant's with frequent evictions.
I really liked this place! Very friendly maintenance crew and the girls in the office are super sweet! Oh yeah and both of them are super hot! Especially Nikki!

pet friendly. my dog has been attacked an average of once a month over the last two months by loose dogs as owners refuse to follow leash laws. many of them fail to clean up after there dogs like the residents in 143. my animal has required trips to an after hours emergency for medical treatment and even though management is aware of this they refuse to talk to the animals owners stating it's a civil matter. cleanliness. I'm not against smokers, just those who don't act responsibly. cigarette butts are commonly found throughout the complex in large numbers. our upstairs neighbors frequently leave theirs on the lawn in front of our unit, sometimes in back. management has told us they've been fined, but we still have to clean up the trash they put in front and back of our unit our face fines. West Valley PD should have a station here due to the number of times they stop by.
