I wish there was a rating lower than 1-Star. My wife and I moved out as soon as our 6 month lease was up for multiple reasons. Here are just a few:
1) One parking spot per apartment. I know this cannot be helped as the place was built a long, long time ago but this causes neighbors to park in your spot VERY often. The courtasy officer does nothing about this except for a little note that has NO repercussions.
2) Walls/Ceilings are very thin. You had better hope your neighbors do not have small children that like to run around or bounce balls because you will hear them every time.
3) This brings us to the water pipes. When your neighbor decides to run some water in the tub, you will hear the loudest, most high-pitched squeal and it will drive you insane. This stops when they turn the shower on but if they decide to take a bath with no shower, get ready to turn the volume on your TV up.
4) The courtasy officer is the rudest, most inconsiderate person I've ever seen in apartment management. If you have a problem, she tells you to come to her first to avoid conflicts with neighbors but when you do come to her, she does nothing about anything. Every time I go to pay rent and she's the one I have to give the check to, a cloud of depression settles over me and I'm in a bad mood for at least an hour. I hope she reads this~
That's about it. You get what you pay for here. Low rent = Low budget = Low tenant satisfaction. Go do the smart thing and buy a cheap house.
