I really appreciate how helpful the staff is when it comes to site maintenance and safety. It also helps that the university is so close by, so I dont have to waste gas on long commutes. I really liked living here, and if youre a grad student who needs an affordable place to live with great features and friendly management, I would highly recommend looking here!

I have lived at willow crest since just before the start of the school year in august, and I have loved every moment of it. The quiet suburban like feel really makes me feel very at home! I love all of the amenities, and I love how the gym and printing stations are 24 hours. The office staff is strict and very by the books, but the manager is fair and easy to work with if you communicate with him. I signed an 18 month lease and I am certainly open to renewal for my final year of Pharmacy School. They also offer a $300 referral bonus if you get your friends to sign leases. This was a big help with textbooks this year!

I recently just transferred from Kent State University. Coming in, I was very apprehensive about living so far away from home. Willow Crest has made all of my angst disappear. All of the office staff has been very welcoming and appreciative of me and all the other tenants! Maintenance requests are completed within a day's time at most, and all the staff make it their priority to satisfy all the residents' necessities and requests. I do not regret living at Willow Crest whatsoever. This is definitely my home away from home. I will definitely be renewing my lease :) THANK YOU WILLOW CREST!

Started great but went downhill big time. My daughter & her boyfriend moved in & we had to co-sign for them since they were soon to graduate with their master's degrees but not in their careers yet. The management was great & the woman who was the manager was outstanding. She wanted us to know they were in a safe community environment. They had social events & a true community living style. Any problems were handled quickly & fixed. They had security that was visible, parked & cruised through regularly. The management was friendly & helpful & always welcomed you into the office. There were special events & gatherings. It was so nice I almost felt envious. But after a year or so it started changing & even though my daughter never complained I noticed when I visited the feeling was different & the look of the place even changed. It went down hill fast & things didn't get fixed & the office became unfriendly & no help. They closed & left before office hours were done & became difficult to work with. And I found out there became a problem with theft. You could even see where frost or dew on car windows had been wiped off to see in windows on cars. No more security company! After living there several years they get married & decided to buy a house. They went month to month on rent instead of resigning for a year. Their rent was increased $200 more a month to be able to do that. Scheduling closing for the house & work through the sale they asked to get a pro-rated half a month or even a couple days. They were told no they would have to pay for a full month to be there past noon. They moved in on a pro-rated schedule but denied moving out on a pro-rated schedule. There house purchase closing was the last day of the month & they were told they had to be out by noon which was before their closing time on the house sale. They asked for some extra time so they got one hour. They gave them til 1:00 to be out. Seems to me they should have had til the end of the day since they were paid through the end of the month. I have not heard of a place that would not prorate rent yet have a increased monthly rent price for month to month. Fortunately for my daughter the people they were buying a house from were very nice people and let them move their stuff in 2 days before closing. That is unheard of normally yet they were allowed to move their belongings into a house before they owned it but had to have their belongings out of an apartment they had paid up rent on. Plus they forgot a wall decoration & remembered that evening after they had turned in their keys. They called & left a message that night but were told in the morning that it was thrown away. So they got a crew in first thing in the morning to go through an apartment & threw out an obviously forgotten item yet you couldn't get them in to fix a problem when they lived there. There are many things that could be mentioned but there would be no end to this review. What use to be a great place has become no place you want to live.

Very satisfied with choice to live here Overall, Willow Crest is a very comfortable place to live. I pay far less in rent than every other student I know yet still think the amenities here are nice. Parking is never an issue and the grounds are well-maintained. The fitness center with it's 24/7 access is great. I look forward to staying here for future years because of the value and proximity to the university.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. I am a current resident here at Willow Crest, I have been here for almost 3 years and up until new management (this past June) I have been a happy resident. New management is awful. I do NOT recommend ANYONE renting here. ****It is UNSAFE.**** Our apartment was recently broken into and multiple things and valuables where stolen. Management was rude, inconsiderate, and disrespectful to not only myself but also to Toledo Police Department about the break in. Not only have my belongings been stolen but also multiple neighbors car(s) have been broken into and their belongings stolen. Also since new management we have received rude threatening e-mails about "over due" payments when there WASN'T one, and when called and confronted about it was told "just a automated e-mail to remind people to pay their rent." I'm appalled at how different this place is since Lisa (previous property manager) has left. She was amazing and truly made this place feel safe and like home. I can not wait until my lease is up next month, can't get out of here fast enough.

So you lose money and still don't get a place to live. I recommend this place to no one.

This complex is without a doubt the worst place I have lived. Living here used to be great (I was there through the management change). When they switched owners, the place went downhill quick. I had my car and my apartment (top story so don't let them convince you it's safe) broken into on separate occasions. The guy below me had his apartment broken into several times. All of this happened after management change because they felt that our safety was not worth paying for security details. New manager is very rude and has even hung up on me before. If you have any issues with management, they refuse to give out a supervisor contact. Don't bother looking online because it is not posted. Very strange, sketchy company with the worst service I have seen in my life. They frequently state all residents will be denied access to the pool if xxxx doesn't stopping doing xxxxx. They hold it over the head of everybody to get what they want from one person. I would absolutely without a doubt not recommend this place to ANYBODY. I've never had an issue with any apartment until this group. Please, please don't be fooled by these ladies and just walk away.

My family and I have lived in the same HUGE house for over 40 years; coming to an apartment is a drastic change. When we drove around the grounds to get a feel for the area we were blown away. Everything was beautiful, well-kept and any person we came across was smiling and greeted us like they have known us for years. The management personnel were very helpful, informative and made you feel comfortable asking any questions. The move for our family will be tough and emotional but Willow Crest is beautiful, very well lit and most importantly diverse.

I moved in a little over a year ago and just renewed my lease. After living in a house for so many years I admit I was hesitant about living in an apartment but the staff here really does go out of their way to make sure you feel at home. Maintenance is always taken care of quickly and the girls in the office are always willing to answer questions and deal with issues. I live in a two bedroom upstairs and love my vaulted ceilings and having a washer and dryer. I had a family member who lived here a few years ago when it was Four Seasons and so much has changed (for the better!). New management really does care about their investment. Keep up the good work!
