Ive been living at the boulevard for about 9 months and I truly love it here. My maintenence requests are usually completed within 48 hours depending on the urgency level and theres always something nice in the community that the office does for the residents. I havent had any problems living here and Im extremely happy that I chose to live at the boulevard. It is usually very clean and the community feels safe and the rent is very reasonable for students.

The BLVD has been a great place to live for my JR year of college. Rent was reasonable and they are located directly on the FSU/Star Metro bus routes. However, rent prices are going up due to competing with other apartments in the area. Overall a nice first place to live on your own for college.

I've lived in my share of apartments and this is definitely the best I've lived in. It's affordable, the apartments are of good quality, and it's on the Tomahawk and Forest bus routes, so you can also get to campus on weekends if you don't drive. Maintenance is always timely and friendly, and the staff at the leasing office is always ready to answer questions. There are heavy fees for pets and damages, so fill out the initial apartment walk through form thoroughly. Only problem I've had is walking to the front dumpster from the back of the complex since I don't have a car, but other than that it's been awesome.

I have lived here for six months and have renewed my lease for next year. The manager and staff genuinely care about residents and run an efficient, proper business. Residents should not be surprised about any of the rules and regulations, and coming from a complex that had no rules whatsoever and let residents run wild, The Boulevard has been an appreciated breath of fresh air. My particular building is very quiet, the rooms and living areas are very spacious, and I feel safe. I would recommend The Boulevard to any student!

I have yet to move in and it has been a breeze so far. We went in to sign our lease 30 minutes before they closed the office and they still took their time with us and never rushed us. They even took us on a tour of the apartment with no complaint or sign of annoyance. We had a bit of trouble getting the guarantor form in and they were flexible with us and waited till we had it turned in and they did it all without complaints or getting upset. Definitely an upgrade from my apartment complex now. The staff is amazing so far. Can't wait to live here next fall!

I've lived at the blvd for about 6 months now, and I can defiantly say that it has been a choice that I don't regret. The staff at the BLVD are absolutely amazing they are very friendly and open to answer any questions you have. As for maintenance, I couldn't be more satisfied. It's not often that you can find a place where you can put in a work order and get someone to come out that same day and fix whatever problem you have. On top of that they never have a problem doing whats asked and go the extra mile to be sure that everything is for sure fixed before they leave. In addition to all this, Carol( our property manager) is down right excellent. You won't find very many places in Tallahassee, where the property manager will go out of their way to learn your name, and take into consideration any ideas you have to better your experience in your residence. If you're wondering if the BLVD is the right place for you i can assure you that you won't be disappointed from staying here. What you see in there photos and on the tour is exactly what you get.

Living there was nice. The fees are RIDICULOUS! You are charged a fee of a couple thousand for simply having a visitor over for 4 days or having a visiting pet. And the management is HORRIBLE! God forbid you ever have to deal with her. Maintenance is wonderful though!

More apartment communities should be managed and maintained as well as The Boulevard is. Complainers will always complain no matter where they live and prefer to run to mommy and daddy if they dont get their way. Grow up. You live on your own now. Handle your business like a grown up should. Maintenance here is one of the best perks. They are always quick to respond to any issues and Frankie is awesome! Amenities are nice and not outdated. Only complaint is gaming area so close to study rooms when you need quiet. Other than that, I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone seeking affordable rates and lots of space.

In my opinion this is the best management team in Tallahassee. I've lived here for almost 2 years now and I've never had a single issue here. One of the only properties that want you to sign and actually stay. You don't get random charges and Carol, the property manager, is super nice and always looking after her residents. If you actually want a good apartment experience that is worth the money then you should definitely sign here. Price is very reasonable for what you get, not crazy high but not too cheap, resulting in a fun homey feeling community.

This is my first year living at The BLVD and I wish I knew about them earlier! I knew I wanted to live here the minute I walked in for a tour; the staff is so nice and quick to answer any questions! Not to mention, the quality and price is UNBEATABLE. I love having a private bathroom with a lot of cabinet space. The furniture included has a modern aesthetic and is comfortable. The BLVD has a goldilock location as it is a quiet area yet a bus ride away from campus (5 minutes). Before moving in, I received super detailed emails about the move-in process which helped tremendously! My apartment was in great condition/clean when I moved in and very accurate to the quality of the model unit. I could tell that maintenance worked hard to prepare the units for new residents! Maintenance is responsive to work orders, professional, and friendly. Free parking and free visitors parking is a plus. The clubhouse is a very fresh area to be in as well. There are bunch of events for residents like trivia Tuesday, bingo, and free food. I've used the study rooms and computer lab a handful of times & will more during finals week! Living at The BLVD has been the top best living experience I've had in Tallahassee. I wish I could take The BLVD with me to whatever city I live in after I graduate from FSU!!

Are you kidding me? You replace literally hundreds of pieces of furniture and have the audacity to just trash them, when this perfectly good furniture could have been donated to Goodwill or The Salvation Army? If you cater to students, then you should be responsible business owners and respect the values of your customers. Students of this generation expect business owners to be responsible to the community around them, not just their profit motive and honestly, what would it have cost you to stage the furniture and call a non profit to come pick it up? What occurred over the last few days is completely irresponsible and I can assure you that there are four tenants that will NOT be renewing their lease.

My first year here was perfect, maintenance came fast and finished everything when asked. After trying to move to an new apartment for only 6 months I regret not just staying! I came back to this great apartment because the other locations werent as great. With the fantastic amenities that it provides(gym, computer lab, pool table etc..) and the people that surround this place really makes it feel like home. Ive never had a problem living here. Don't think twice! Seriously this is very affordable and spacious! Definately one of the best places I moved into during my College years and very close to campus. Thank you The Blvd!!

The reviews on here are super biased & most are untrue/ exaggerations. I lived at the boulevard my sophomore year and absolutely loved it. I had no problems with management as they help as much as they possibly can, & maintenance is timely & super nice and friendly, even would take my trash sometimes if they saw me walking with it. They do monthly resident events & are super community oriented. Everyone in the office is super nice, friendly, & helpful. I ended up moving out just because of my roommates moving & hated where I lived due to how much of a difference it was & how bad management was with working with you, & came back to Blvd this first chance I could get. Overall for the price you are paying and the location, I would say the Blvd is the complex to get the most bang for your buck. The apartments have a super modern feel to them & the rooms are still a decent size unlike most renovated apartments in tally. I would recommend The Boulevard to anyone, as I truly believe that they are one of the best apartment complex's in tally.

Curious parents, desperate students: AVOID. Live here if you want petty, passive-aggressive, and childish emails sent to you twice a month. Topics range from bickering about pet owners, people playing basketball, parking, candles, or whatever the management or students find annoying that day. Also, be prepared to fight for your security deposit, and expect to get it the last possible day they are legally obligated to do so. Not that it matters, cuz you waived any right to sue them by signing your lease. The rent is always increasing...but not if you re-sign! But please don't. The BLVD is in a sketchy-ish neighborhood, and a couple hundred feet away from a railroad. Hope you aren't a light sleeper! Sketchy, you say? Yeah, I had panhandlers come TO MY DOOR. The management hides behind kind staff of college students that deal with all the nonsense that management should deal with. Over summer semester the lease ends around finals, so you have to deal with moving out while studying. Yet they say they cater to students....shame. Speaking of, they say internet is included, but only by Ethernet. And it's not that great. Ohh, and in Apley hall, I saw a cockroach once every month or so. I named him Dave. Hopefully it was just the Dave, but I wouldn't know, I could never kill him. He was too sneaky. As you can see from the photo, the living area is nice! But not worth it. Don't be fooled by my nice photo, I'm sharing it for the views. If I had a picture of Dave, I would have shared that instead. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

This apartment complex is perfect in every aspect except for safety. The manager cares more and works harder than any other apartment I've lived in while in Tallahassee. Maintenance is quick and efficient. The rooms are very spacious and you even get an extra closet outside of your room. The amenities are great (aside from the printer frequently breaking down) and every person working at the office has a good attitude. Most importantly, they don't try to scam you with charges when you move out. Unfortunately, I had to give this complex three stars because it is in an unsafe area. While living here someone broke my car window, and even stole the car of someone living in my building. The Boulevard attempted their best to solve this problem by creating a community enviornment in which we all report suspensious people, but again, because of the location of the complex their efforts were in vain. When the police came to file a report on my car, they informed me that since this is the only college student apartment for quite a bit, a lot of locals view it as their prime target.

I moved in about two weeks ago and opened the door to a spacious furnished 3x3. The only problem I saw was that the floor needed a sweep- but on a scale from major problems and things I can do in two seconds this was not an issue, in fact I was happy that I could whip out my new swiffer and give it a try! Student housing in general isn't ever going to be perfect, but the Blvd definitely gets as close as you can get, with great amenity, such as private study rooms, finger print access and friendly Staff- living here has been so far so good!

She called the police repeatedly. She moved out 2 months early to feel safe. Worst experience ever. They wouldn't even take the last months rent for our 2 months deposit. Charged over $700 in late fees. Don't move in here!

I've stayed at The BLVD for the past two years and my experience can be summed up with the conclusion that "it's just Okay. The maintenance staff was great for the most part. They often came and did repairs the same day as a report was filed and we're quiet and respectful when they would come early in the morning. However, with some maintenance issues their responses could be deemed lazy. The best example was this was that my roommate had a really bad case of black mold on his ceiling and after notifying maintenance and the office several times their only solutions were to paint over it. The apartment itself is well maintained with updated appliances and pseudo-wood floors but the overall safety of the property was suspect at times. Although my roommates and I were never victimized, there were several cases of vehicle break-ins and occasional gunshots could be heard from adjacent neighborhoods. The amenities offered to the residents were great and staff was constantly doing promotions and upgrading to these amenities. We never had any terrible pest issues either. However, the occasional roaches were massive and although it's gross, I realize that we live and Florida and roaches are a part of living here. Our balcony consistently had spiders and wasps about but we never utilized our balcony unless it was cold outside and during those months there were no spiders or wasps. The only true complaint I have is with the internet. The internet was slow even when using a Ethernet cord. Additionally any sort of bad weather would impact the internet connection severely. However, I will give The BLVD credit with that we were not billed for cable or internet. Other pros: roommate matching system, ability to keep old rates, not "nickeling and diming" Other cons: noisy adjacent neighborhoods, train tracks run right behind complex, occasional dog waste issues, VERY thin walls Overall I could say that my stay here was alright. Are there better places to live? Sure. Are there worse places to live? Absolutely. For the rent rate I paid the living experience I had was fair.

I did not find living here enjoyable or convenient. The very first night my roommates and I stayed there, there were cockroaches-- pest control is "already taken care of," so if you experience trouble you have to pay for them to come spray, even though you pay for pest control in your rent. We also had a silver fish problem. They were everywhere... we would run the dishwasher and find these bugs in our cups. Aside from the infestations, many other inconveniences were caused by the management. I went the first month having no gate access... to my own apartment that I over pay this place to live in. Because both my card and code were not hooked up properly, I had to call my roommate every single time to let me in the complex for a month-- and the management said there was nothing they could do... because a temporary card would be unheard of. Even my sublease told them what day she would be moving in, and they "put a note on her file" and proceeded to decide to be closed during their normal hours with no notification from them, I mean she had no where to go... Basically, I would recommend living ANYWHERE BUT HERE. Its hardly safe, due to the many car break-in's I was notified of while living here. And based on my personal experience, I felt taken advantage of because these types of places target college kids. If something were to break that really isn't your fault -- such as when my sink leaked into a lake on my bathroom floor, you pay for it-- with hidden fees around every corner, just take your money elsewhere.

FANTASTIC place to live! The apartments are spacious and well maintained. The property is safe, clean and conveniently located. The office staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. They respond promptly to questions and if any issues arise, they are quickly and completely resolved. I highly recommend the BOULEVARD at TALLY!

Edit: Following my review, our property manager, Carol, personally reached out to me in order to address my concerns. She gave me the number to security to report any more noise offenses, suggested some options for releasing yourself from a lease, and followed up on the noise problem a week later. While that $15 light blub was still pretty ridiculous, the Boulevard's customer service is exceptional. I enjoyed my time here. However, I still anticipate moving out in a few weeks just because I'm kind of over 2am noise disturbances from people that want to party on a Wednesday. This is a student apartment complex. For students. Nothing luxurious but it's clean and economical. Structurally, the walls are super thin. They're pretty good about mail and the maintenance guys are great. That said, The Boulevard will nickel-and-dime you for everything. One time, they found a lightbulb in my bathroom had gone out. They graciously replaced it--citing damages--and charged me $15. In addition, unlike other apartment complexes, under no circumstances are you able to break your lease. All of our roommates are moving out in May because we're seniors. There is no option for a prorated rent or an option to pay a fee to break the lease, which is unusual. I will have to continue to pay upwards of $500 for a place that will be vacant, while paying for an apartment in a metro area where my new job is. For this reason alone, I just cannot recommend the Boulevard at Tallahassee for seniors. If you have some school left, by all means.

I am writing a review because I am very ashamed of the very biased reviews that are posted. The Boulevard is an absolutely wonderful student apartment complex. The rates are great and the apartment sizes are even better. I have yet to enter another student apartment complex that offers the modern amenities and apartment sizes for the same price. I love it here so much that I even resigned for another year. I have had multiple normal maintenance issues and they have always been addressed very timely. I personally find the management extremely helpful and respectful. Carol is a great manager. She has helped myself as well as my roommates with various issues. The two cons I will address with the apartment complex are the speed bumps (they're atrocious) and the wait to receive packages (which is understandable as I am sure they receive many.) BUT, YOU CANNOT BEAT THE BOULEVARD.
