Make sure that you take the time to read your contract and all correspondence before signing anything. I wouldnt recommend choosing Maple Gardens if you are an international student because it is hard for them to run a credit check,which will result in over charge you by doubling your security deposit, and requesting advanced payments for at least two months ahead. So make sure that you take your time and READ. Otherwise, the location is good. There is a bus stop, so you can use public transportation. A daycare center is located on Scenic street, about 2 minutes walk if you have kids. There is also a gas station nearby.

These apartments are obviously a bit on the lower end of the rent spectrum as far as cost and overall quality. That being said, my husband and I feel that we have both had an overall positive experience at Maple Gardens. Of course the neighbors can be a bit careless with their noise or their dog poo, but as far as the maintenance and office team, they have been wonderful and prompt any time we have had a work order or any concerns. They have worked hard over the last year to update the place, and it definitely helps! We have always felt as though we were living in a relatively safe and clean area.
Lease went down, my roomate ditched and the staff lied to us.
New ownership has taken over. Management is extremely rude and is never on site. Give short notices on everything, Terrible!!!!

But my question is, Is it true something of his situation happened before in the apartment you managed. I'm a renter myself and something of that nature happens. some broken staff when you move in and the maintenance never bother fixing it. I take pictures just in case the apartment management stiff me with security deposit. I work hard for my money and deposit belongs to me. unless of course i break something.

I am the manager of Scenic Place Apartments I have been for 2 years i just saw a review from a person by the name of Dustin Foster on here that gave us a negative rating unfortunately the review is false because nobody by that name have lived here at least in the past 5 years so either its a false statement from a competitor trying to lower our ratings or pad theirs or its a former resident that we had evicted for one of many reasons like not paying rent, being caught doing some type of illegal activity (which we have a zero tolerance policy here)

I liked living there but when I moved out I was charged for things that were broken when I moved in that maintenance never fixed. After spending two days cleaning (dusted every blind, etc) they told us that we will not get any deposit back and that we were lucky that they didn't bill us the damage. The manager switched like 3 times during our 1 year and I guess it was bad communication. We were pretty bummed because we liked it there but I would never recommend it because we weren't treated very well. We also had no heat for three days so we played video games in the living room with gloves on. Maintenance took their time.
