I have lived out here for 3 years now, they have gone through a lot of changes but they are really working to make the place a great place to live. The office staff is so sweet and helps any way they can. It is older but anytime you need a work order done they get it done fast. It is a great place to be in Spartanburg.

Lived here 6 years always paid my rent and everyrhing. I was late a few times sure. My apartment was flooded 3 times due to leaks from the apartments above mine, poor piping in the walls. And of course when the fire dept. Poured water in to stop a fire. (Which I was still in my apartment and no one warned me until water started pouring on my face.) I was displaced for 2 weeks. And then they call a tow company to tow my car just cause the decal fell from the mirror. On top of that. They tell me that have someone ready to move in my apartment and ifni sign a notice to vacate they would waive all of the sub leasing fees and since my apartment had recently flooded due to no fault of mine (fire fighters) and they had repainted the walls and replaces the carpet i wouldn't be charged for anything. Only to find out a whole year later that there is a charge on my credit for over $1000 for unpaid rental and all kinds of fees!

Campus edge is horriable it always smells like weed in m building. Since I have been here they have at least one shooting a year. It's loud with trash every where there's always trash in the roads parking at night is bad there's people that shouldn't be here parked here but they do and there in the wrong spots they need to have a gate to keep people out. About half my electric outlets don't work the toilet is broke and i have reported this but when I call to check on if there comeing to fix it they tell me there's no fix it in so I have up. The desk people at the front use to be nice but now they are not and they all tell you something diffrent. I would not Reginaze Campus edge to any student cause it is not safe.

I lived here sophomore year back in 2013 for a year and had a great experience here in the G building. Then after graduating I decided to move back in August 2016 and I think that was by far the worst decision ever. First the young lady working in the office at the time told me that they offered month-to-month leasing and that I could move out whenever as long as I paid for both bedrooms ($820/month), come time for me to leave (before the 12 month lease was up) the office began to tell me that they didn't offer month-to-month and that I would need to pay all 12 months regardless if I was living there or not OR I had to find someone to take over my lease. The building (M) they moved me into was not cleaned when I moved in, carpet was dirty and the carpet in the main bedroom had not been vacuumed. By the end of my stay, there was major water damage in one of the restrooms from where the room above maybe had restroom/water problems of some sort or something. My dishwasher hadnt work the entire year that I lived there. Hot water knob in the main bedroom at the sink hadn't work my entire stay. Aside from this, office staff is nice. I just don't think I'll ever live there again. The M building needs to be remodeled and updated, asap! smh

I lived here for a year and that was about all I could stand. The employees in the office are very friendly and helpful but the apartment complex itself is way below par. Our thermostat broke almost once a week, horrible noise disturbances and it was always unsafe going to your car at night. I stayed here because of the prices but they continue to go up which I believe is completely not worth it. It's so outdated and so run down and they're not doing any renovations it looks like any time soon. So some advice would be do not move here if you're looking for an affordable place because it's worth it in my opinion to pay more somewhere else.

Staff lied and said we had signed and we'd be responsible for the years rent unless it was leased out. I asked her for copies of lease agreement Boom! Caught her lying act!The apartmentment in K building was our one bedroom and upon viewing I almost threw up from smoke smell and nasty liquids in Refrigerator! No thanks.bi would not leave my neighbors cat in this dump!

I've lived here for two years, lived in three different complexes offered, and can comfortably say that its what you pay for. Things break and they take forever to get to it, if they ever do, but if its severe enough they definitely get the gears moving. I don't really think this is maintenance's fault (The owner I am assuming is frugal). They're really funny and always joke around with residents. Others have mentioned people standing outside, feeling unsafe, parties, etc. Well the apartment complex is in the middle of a college campus so it shouldn't be shocking that the majority of people staying here are college students that want to have fun. This place is basically a augmented dorm. If you're older or the least bit prudish then this is not the place for you. Things typically don't get out of hand. I've personally never heard of there being fights or shootings and stuff of that nature. The parties legitimately last no longer than 30 minutes due the cops being easily accessible (they also live in the apartments). Some of these comments are kind of weird as they describe relatively mundane activities like standing outside or talking. The only way I can perceive this is that said person has some sort of prejudice toward the type of people standing. Over all the place is habitable if you're not picky. HOWEVER... Melissa alone is the reason I refuse to give this place any more of my money. She is the epitome of unprofessional. One has to wonder how in the heavens did she ever get to her position! If she has any preconceptions about you whatsoever you're going to be talked to like garbage. If she feels humility in any way shape or form her first move is to become aggressive and argumentative instead of hearing you out and trying to come up with a solution. It doesn't take a costumer service expert to know you shouldn't argue with guests (especially when it's unnecessary!). We haven't had many interactions with each other but there were two especially rude ones we've had that left the worst taste in my mouth. With the last unprofessional encounter I tried calling her "higher ups" and they just chalked it up to a death in the family. Well I don't mean to inconsiderate but people in her family must be dropping like flies because she is regularly a rude person. Not just with me but with other residents as well. You ask people on campus and one of the first things out their mouths is a string of unsavory impressions of her character. Honestly if you're a student who's not picky and can somehow find a way to circumvent the horror that is Melissa then Campus Edge is the place for you. But I can't. Good luck.

Pros Campus Edge is your experience. It can be a great place to live or not; it's all about your perception. For the most part i like where i live because it is convenient for what i need; it grants me access to major highways to go out of state/different parts of the city such as I-85, business 85, and I-585 as well as back roads to bypass high volumes during busy hours/holiday traffic HWY 29, 221, 9, 56, 176, etc.......... I like the fact that all utilities are included in the rent and you don't have to be an actual student to live here at Campus Edge. Cons Although, there many things that i do like there are several things that are Cons for me as well such as parking. On weekends it is so hard to find parking because of course its college housing i get it, however visitors parking has a very small sector for such a big apartment complex. Another con is the rental rates are going up but not the quality of the apartment. I like the price prior to the increase to me it is already worth the quality of unit. Next up is maintenance their attitude toward doing their job is not the best i don't understand why but it does need improvement. The last con that i have is recreation(two parts). Due to new office hours its limits access to the computers and entertainment in the office. For the second part outside of the office the tennis court is not being put to use. My opinion is to transform it into a Basketball Court or somehow overflow/visitors parking. Staff The students did an astounding job when they were around. The current staff does a spectacular job in all that they do. Above all everyone in the office is great and i personally haven't had any conflicts with any of them thus far. To all employees and staff i hope that you all endure many blessings along your journey. Remember that your experiences in life is what you make of it!

Our new owner Upstate Property Rentals has done so much to improve my beloved property and so proud to be the site manager!!! Grounds look amazing, installed community trash cans in breezeways, new roofs, 12 new dog stations, fire extinguishers in each breezeway, new gutters on all buildings,secured all balconies and approved the contract with Duke Energy to perform energy efficient program in each apartment and looking forward to all else to come for our community!!!! So happy for our residents..

I have absolutely loved staying here for the past 2 years. The first time I walked in the leasing office everyone in there made me feel very welcomed. The staff here is very friendly and not to mention amazing, willing to listen and help with problems if they ever occur, and overall they have made me essentially feel at "home". I would recommend Campus Edge Apartments for anyone that is looking for a friendly environment to live in and be apart of.

I lived at Campus Edge from 2003 to 2008 and even though I would consider it over priced I never felt like it was unsafe. It has a college atmosphere with out the supervision of living in a dorm. It is a great 1st apartment for college kids. When I lived there it included power, water and basic cable so it relieves tenants of having to worry about paying separate bills. It's also walking distance from USC Upstate so you don't have to worry about ever having to park on campus. Plus when there are parties you dont have to worry about driving because its right there. Plus the office includes 4 computers, a pool table, flat screen tv and a swimming pool.
