I moved here in June of 2016 and loved this neighborhood i found it driving by hoping to find a miracle. I loved its family atmosphere and how kept the property was. I had a roommate at the time and lived in a 2-2. We moved after our year lease was over and I moved back into a 1-1 4 months later! I loved it that much I had to come back. The staff is awesome maintenance is in your home the day or day after you call and I have never had an issue bigger than a small bug in the summer lol.

Lived here for about 4 years. It was mostly fine, but the place is not even close to soundproof. I can hear neighbors conversations and every step someone upstairs makes. When you have someone especially loud, like I do now, it really ruins it. Seems to be a break in every few months, but I suspect that happens everywhere at least occasionally. I've felt safe. Prices go up at least $40 every year I've been here, which is also very irritating, but again is happening everywhere. Whole system is rigged.

I have had a worst experience here living in this community. The only good thing is community is clean. But there is no safety or security for the vehicles especially, because I personally experienced it. All 4 wheels of my car have been stolen last month and I had to go through with insurance and had lot of pains and cost lot of money. Similar incident happened even last year during the same time period but there was no action from the community to stop it. Another bad thing with the management is, they find ways to charge back the customers while move out. Charges will be almost around the cost of one month rent of the apt even though the apt looks clean, replacement charges are charged back to the customer. I will never return to this community in my life ever. I would advice people not to look for this one.

Post Spring is your standard apartment living. In regards to previous reviews by other residents, yes this complex has a very diverse group of people. But I have never smelled anyone's cooking in my own unit. The only problem I ever had was my next door neighbor's kid screaming. There are no excessive amounts of dog droppings around the complex, but yes there are some owners who neglect to pick up after their pets. The bad side to the complex is the security. We have a security gate and a security bar but a lot of cars seems to just follow in, un-phased if their vehicle gets hit by the security bar. Last night, my neighbor's tires got jacked. Now his vehicle is sitting in the lot on cinder blocks. It makes me question my safety. The management does fire alarm and bed bug checks every 3 months. I am never home when they do so due to work. It doesn't directly bother me except for the thought that a stranger has been in my home. Another issue is their laundry facility. It seems after ever wash, my clothing articles come out with a new stain. I know that is an issue they can't control completely because it is a communal laundry facility. Besides the 'eh' security, it's an decent place. I would've signed for another year if they didn't hike the price.

I moved into Post Spring about half a year ago and everything has gone pretty well. My apartment was clean and everything has been functioning fine since I moved in. Landscaping is always in order and announcements and scheduled maintenance are always emailed out in a timely manner. Every time I've ever needed maintenance or help with something, someone has always come out that day or called me to schedule a time. Autumn in particular has been very helpful. This is by far the easiest experience I've had with an apartment/house and I'll probably renew next year.

I would NOT live there again. The walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING and smell EVERYTHING your neighbors are cooking. The parking is horrible. It is unsanitary as well. There is dog poop left throughout the property and the trash situation gets so insane with trash laying all over the place. There have been several times we received emails about break-ins and it made me feel unsafe, so much for a "gated community". I also have had a package taken for the package room because there is truly no way of knowing if someone is walking out with your package. For as much as they had us paying it did not meet to standards. Far too expensive for what you actually get. So glad to be out of that place.

My roommate and I lived here for two years and had a pleasant living experience, but now they are trying to charge us over $1,400 in move out charges (more than our monthly rent was). Over $800 is for carpet replacement alone. After two years? I don't think so. They should replace their carpet on their own dime. Or maybe the ones we already gave them.

The leasing office has been very helpful from the moment we met them. Our application was handled by Autumn. She understood our situation and made sure things were moved in a fast pace to move our application form. She managed to hand over the keys one day prior to her committed day. That saved us $120 of hotel stay. Our stay is quite comfortable so far. Definitely recommend to people who work in Smyrna (especially this community is a walk away from the home depot store support center where I work) and looking for a calm , medium budget no-frills stays.

Pros: Swimming pool is good, we enjoy during few months in the year. The service in the apartment is good that the problems almost attended on the same day. Cons: The apartment complex can have a play area for kids which will server a lot of families compared to a vegetable garden where there is a long waiting list and only 10 to 12 plots are serving countable families. The natural light coming during the day into the apartment is low compared to NJ apartments due to the layout of house. Unfortunately nearby communities too have the same problem with natural light.

Don't waste your time. The community is beautiful and the size of the apartments are wonderful, however, it's unnecessarily expensive. Just received my rent renewal and they have gone up $100 plus the water fee, community fees, etc. It's ridiculous as if they want to price their tenants out. Not to mention the appliances are very old but they will issue you new, updated appliances but only if you pay $50 per month for them. Also, the amount of burglaries and car break-ins are just too much for what you pay to live here.

Lived here for a year and was ready to move out when it came time. During my time here my parked truck was hit by another car in the middle of the night. Speed limit signs are either microscopic or nonexistent in this neighborhood. Oh and no sidewalks. So your life is on the line when walking throughout the neighborhood. The front office actually decided to install speed bumps throughout the neighborhood after other cars started getting hit as well. Another more serious issue was with my girlfriend dealing with a Peeping Tom. Yea, that actually happened. The front office wasn't too concerned about it though. Luckily we didn't discover this until about a month left on our lease. So who knows how long this guy had been watching her (or us). My apartment was situated on the terrace level and was lucky enough to have a family above me who had a child and the people above them had several children who ran rampant throughout the apartment. That went on for the entire year. That same family would allow their children to throw trash over the rails so I had new presents outside my porch every day, which was nice. Oh and the move in/move out process is insane. Don't be surprised if they ask for a blood sample (kidding, but seriously) to let you rent there. But then again you don't want to rent there. Moving out is equally as bad. They take deposit on deposit from you at the beginning then send you a bill after you've moved out asking for more money. I kept my apartment pristine. I'm sure I have plenty more instances where I had been disappointed with this place but I'm just glad I don't live there anymore. There is one bright shining light working the front office who is probably the only hope of turning this place around and her name is Sarah. If she can help you she will. Otherwise the Post Properties company is ran by emotionless cyborgs. If you're looking for a place to stay do yourself a favor and don't come here.

Stayed here for more than a year. Pros: New apartment, decent gym, excellent swimming pool, keeps community clean in regular basis, provides a personal vegetable garden, outdoor grill facility with gas supply. Very good wireless network availability. Con: They ask high increase in rent while renewing lease. They charge a lot of money while vacating or during the stay in term of fines (damage, pest control, odor treatment). They never negotiate when advance rent deposit asked. Laundry is too small.

Stayed here for almost 6 years and am very much in love with the community.Decided to review it as it deserved every star out there. During my stay, I've seen atleast 3 management change. I dont want to say they are extremely wonderful; I dont expect as well. But staffs are pleasing and gentle. They listen and help. Maintenance requests put are taken care immediately; if not the same day atleast the next day (with the exception of weekends). Apartments are fairly newer that other communities nearby. And they are well maintained. Somebody talked about White interiors; am not sure on which apartments they have tht.. the 3 I stayed have all been beige color paintings. And Appliances are all pretty new and updated. They have good gym; equipments are all in working condition and if any issue, would be taken care immediately. Never had water complaints, power outages, noise issues (depends on who ur neighbour is). There was one single episode of Break in (in 6 yrs). Comparatively that is pretty lower. Other nearby communities even reported chain snatching, muggings and break ins. For those who complain, all I would suggest is to go and stay at nearby communities. Get a real feel of every negatives that u have written and then stay in PS. U'll know the difference. I reduced a Star only coz, I would have preferred a Play area for kids.
