Here at our Charming Cottage Getaway you will experience a tranquil monthly (month to month) getaway in this charming 100 yr old home. Full privacy is created by thick mature trees & bushes on and surrounding our 4 acres in the country side.
This wonderful furnished home is available with a signed lease and refundable security deposit of $2,000.00 is required.
Monthly rent is $2,250.00. This includes cooking propane, well water (recently tested and is great), trash and recycle service, and wifi. You pay your metered electric and new oil heat.
It's hard to believe how close you are to great experiences in Saratoga Springs, Lake Desolation, Adirondack Mountains & much more.
We are dedicated to support the well being of our tenants and the environment. One way we do this is asking all our tenants to refrain from wearing synthetic fragrances.
Our Eco Friendly Cottage comes with a full kitchen, dining area, cozy living room, 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, laundry room, and a study. You will find unique country character with wide plank wood floors, built in bookshelves, and lots of old time homey country flair. Our nearly 4 acres offers all the peace and quiet you need- private back deck for hanging out in the fresh air, a fire pit to make those yummy s'mores, and beautiful wildlife to visit with. Lots of books, board games, and a TV to keep you occupied on those rainy days too.
* One bedroom down stairs has a comfortable queen bed, cedar closet, linens, and other furnishings.
* The second downstairs bedroom also has a comfortable queen bed, cedar closet, linens, and other furnishings.
* Near the first bedroom is a charming full bath.
* Near the second bedroom is a full laundry room with iron and ironing board.
* The third bedroom upstairs offers 2 cozy twin beds, built-in shelves, linens, and other furnishings. FYI- the ceilings are low on the 2nd floor.
* Off the upstairs bedroom is a 1/2 bath.
* At the other end of the upstairs is a quiet study with a desk, other furnishings, and a lovely window to gaze out of while you work- good luck focusing on your work. -)
* Back downstairs you will find a kitchen full of all the items you might need to cook your yummy dishes.
* Off the kitchen is a dining room with a china cabinet, stain-glass ceiling light, and other items that make you feel like you are in the country. We have to ask that you do not use the wood stove as it is out of order. Sorry
* Off of the dining area is a relaxing and comfortable living room full of books, games, TV, and large windows to gaze out into the beautiful yard. Perhaps the deer will come visit while you are there too.

We super appreciate you refraining from using synthetic fragrances so other visitors- who have allergies, lung, or heart conditions, aren't negatively affected. Charming Cottage Getaway has been cleaned with cleaners that are free of chemicals and fragrance which are healthier for you and the environment. If you have any questions or concerns about being fragrance free during your stay, we would LOVE to help you understand and feel better about that. Please reach out with ANY questions or concerns. There are no pets allowed (unless pre-approved) and there is ABSOLUTELY no smoking (this includes the use of tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, etc. inside or out).
