This place is fantastic, if you're a fan of rodents. I however am not, and although they are kind of cute, their feces and urine are not. Also not a fan of them eating through everything in my pantry and making a love nest in my kitchen drawers. They never harmed me, but apparently you can get leptospirosis from their feces/urine and that can be fatal. Moving out ASAP as I alerted management of this issue and the best they could do was set peanut butter rat traps I could have got from walmart. The holes that the rats crawled through from the outside have STILL NOT BEEN PATCHED. They tried to blame my dog for it all, I keep the door cracked so she can go potty on the porch while I'm at work if she needs to, and she had pooped on the porch before I could get home and clean it up, they said it was a sanitation issue. The rats had been in my apartment long before I even had this dog. This is not just a management issue, I spoke to a woman from the corporate office and she refused to give me a refund of my rent even in the face of their failures to remedy this issue. Lyon Communities as a whole is NEGLIGENT and I plan on getting the attention of The Environmental Health Division of the Health Care Agency about the problem.

I love living here! Terry and his staff are all so nice and attentive. Anthony showed us our first apartment and he was so friendly I immediately wanted to move in. Christina was the original property manager and she was just as great. The property is kept up very well. Dennis and his maintenance team are always ready to help. My bathroom sink got clocked a few times from my own hair and they were literally out to fix in within minutes of me mentioning to Anthony that I kept forgetting to request the maintenance online. I love that is comes with two assigned parking spots. There is tons of storage. All the appliances are well maintained and work perfectly. The stack-able washer/dryer in my unit was big enough to always do all our laundry in. Being right off the freeway makes everything super convenient. The only reason we are moving out is because we needed a bigger space to share a 2/2 and save some money towards buying a home.

I stayed there a short time (1.5 Months) because it was close to base. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. When I had a question, or a complaint it was addressed fairly quickly. They even helped out with things that were no where near their job description. I did not have any family in the area, and they were kind enough to hold my vehicle so that it could get shipped while I was on deployment. From what I experienced, there were no downsides. As long as you are not rude and treat the staff with respect, then you will have no problems. I will probably be looking to move back here when I return from deployment. Thank you

I would give less than one star if I could. The place reeked of cigarette smoke when I moved in even after they deep cleaned the carpets at my request. Management was supposed to do a walk through to talk about any issues with the apartment we wanted addressed and they never called me back. They came in and cut holes in our ceilings without so much as a notice that they would be entering our apartment. The holes were left there for more than a day and then they re-entered with no notice to patch them. Then they sent me a survey to see if I was moving out and I filled it out saying that I would not be renewing my lease...in writing. However, that didn't count and now on this last two days of my lease, I learn that I'm responsible for another month of rent because I didn't write to them and say, hey I'm moving. Why sign a lease for a set period of time if you can't actually move out at said set time. Needless to say, this has been the worst experience I've ever had in an apartment complex and I've lived in quite a few. The management team is unattentive and lax in doing their job and the owners love putting the fine print in the paperwork so they can suck money out of people. It should not be legal.
