Wouldnt recommend this apartments. The management is stupid and can never have a solution... will always tell you to call corporate and corporate, Of course, never answers. Also they kept my deposit bc supposedly I never gave a deposit.. how the hell did I save that apartment if I never gave a deposit?? To second the comment made previously, when there is a domestic disturbance issue, this apartment staff does nothing to help resolve the issue. I called police several times and they recommended that I talk to property management to see if they could help resolve the issue in a better way given that they would have all the information of neighbours near by that I haven't met and the ability to enter apartments if no one answers etc. Sounds like a smart idea. Got no help or effort towards investigating the issue to rule out any possible trouble makers that could indeed be causing problems under the radar. Not only did they upset me, they still have the idiots here messing with Wi-Fi and eavesdropping on neighbours with parabolic mic type device. Be careful, and pay attention to your Wi-Fi / router. They can hear your password, and then they quietly log in to your router to steal/borrow your ISP service. It's crooks that save money taking advantage of most people's complacency. When there is a problem like a domestic disturbance from your neighbors, this complex dose nothing to help resolve the issue. They try to move you to another appartment, can you belive that who would want to stay. Even when you spoon feed them the case numbers. Then they want to argue that its not their job to do anything about it. This community just wants your money and when a problem happens they turn a cold shoulder and make it a place you just want to leave asap. I would never recommend anyone to this property. Save your time and dont even bother to look at these apartments especially if you have a family and are concerned about safety.

I have lived here at 4000 Horizon Hill Blvd since 2014. The first few years I lived here I really enjoyed it. The office personnel was great and if something needed to be fixed maintenance was as quick as possible to get it done. Well over this last year this property has gone through New Management. I was then notified that I am one of a few apartments that have not been paying the correct amount of rent! So I go in to the office to discuss this situation with them to no avail. I told them the truth which was I came in person to pay my rent and paid what YOUR PERSONNEL told me to pay every month. Now your trying to fix your books because Your Old Management Team was not competent but it is my fault (the renter) that paid her rent every month. How can you claim it was my FAULT and NOT the fault of the Management Team they FIRED!! They have continued to harass me every month when Rent is Due!!! I am not trying to win a contest here I just want to live in piece and pay my dues but I will not pay for a MISTAKE that clearly was not my doing nor the doing of the other tenants involved. I am not talking about one or two hundred dollars but HUNDREDS of DOLLARS the Management Team is trying to charge me for back rent! With all this said I would just beware of this apartment complex because they DONT seem to be an HONEST Company. I am still under contract with them but cannot wait for my what feels like MY JAIL TIME to be up!! After years and years living here you would think they try to keep the professional people here but nope they only want the people they can get over on to live here in this complex. So NEW RENTERS BEWARE!!!!!!! This is no longer a half descent place to live when you cannot TRUST your Management Team.

I saw the model, but my unit was "under construction" when I signed my lease. When I got the keys, it was SO disgusting with roaches, I demanded another unit. The next unit on the 3rd floor was better, but when tenants on the 1st floor left, their roach infestation spread throughout the building. In addition LARGE American roaches were always in the stairwell & balcony, finding a way inside through door gaps and scaring me to death. I'm actually seeing a phobia therapist because it's affecting me so badly and they wouldn't let me out of my lease. I've paid over $100 to treat my own unit because their pest control does nothing. They told me in October that they switched to a new pest control company, who would treat my whole building. But today someone else said that wasn't true. Staff is nice, but if you are a clean person who can't deal with bugs, this place is not for you. Plus the other reviews about the ac and leaks are all VERY true. I can't wait to leave! And I would give my $300 first month discount back to be able to leave in 12 months instead of 15. I hate it here.

This apartment complex is just ridiculous. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. My AC breaks down like weekly, pest and insect all over the apartments! This week, I just encountered a baby snake in my bathtub and i called the front office for help twice and the lady told me that they were on call, that i should give them 2 hours to get there!! I checked the service request online, she NEVER put in one!! I put in one myself. 3 DAYS Later!!! No one EVER SHOWED UP!!! And the most annoying part of it all was that, they completed the service request online without actually coming to my apartment to see what the problem was!!! And this happens on a regular basis! You request for maintanance services or pest control, NO ONE SHOWS UP but they completed the requests online like they did!!!! I am definitely moving out of this apartment complex!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LIVE WITH BABY SNAKES, COCKROACHES, CATEPILLARS!!!! and many more!! I am beyond frustrated!!!

Apartments are pretty nice for the price, but my air conditioning doesn't work. A/C is on full blast and it can get up to 90 degrees in my apartment. Manager sent someone out who took a look at the unit outside and reset my thermostat. He said it "looked like it was working." My electric bill is averaging out to be over $200 a month for my 700 sq ft one bedroom apartment, and I have to use a portable air conditioner because I'm afraid my dog is going to pant himself to death. It's unbearably hot, and the management gave me the runaround basically saying this was just how it is when it gets hot outside. The air coming out of my vents is so faint I have to put my hands up against them just to convince myself the ac is on to begin with. There has to be some way they can fix this. It's unbearably hot. Considering the money I'm spending on energy and buying a separate air conditioner, I'd recommend renting from a higher-end complex.

I drove all the way there for them to tell me they stopped showing when I let them know in advance I was coming. It wasn't even the cut off time but they decided not to show me! Resident since 2015 . Maintenance has been declining for the last 8 months . Reported mold in the master bedroom more than two months ago and nothing had been done. There is crack in the outside of the wall, and this is creating moisture which causes the mold. We have been suffering from allergies. There is a leakage in the storage closet, also notified and nothing has been done, mold has developed.We have seen be increase in roaches sightings, requested pest control has not been done. Nothing gets done! Wish I have something good to said, but I don't.

I went to view an apartment there today. I had gone to view an apartment last week and the same lady there today told me it would be ready to view Wednesday. It was not ready Wednesday and it wasn't ready Saturday. The lady informed me that they don't get their apartments ready to view until the lease is signed. I explained that I didn't feel comfortable signing a lease for an apartment that I had never seen. Her response: "You don't have to" My response: "I know I don't have to. I was just offering a suggestion moving forward." The apartment she showed me was very nice and prior to her rude response to my concern, I considered moving there. My concerns are: 1. You should not expect someone to lease an apartment without viewing it. 2. When someone moves out of an apartment, leaving it the way they left it, could result in pests and other issues from the previous tenant. 3. The lady in the office was nice until I offered my suggestion. If she's rude now, she has no reason to be nice once a lease is signed. If the owners want to encourage people to live there, maybe they should consider training their employees regarding basic courtesy. Needless to say, because of her poor attitude, I signed a lease with another apartment today all because she was rude.

I wish I could put zero stars for absolutely hated it. The apartments are very unique and beautiful on the inside, but both management and maintenance are completely horrible. I read reviews before I moved in and thought they weren't too bad. Little did I know it was going to be worse. I moved in and the kitchen counters were dirty, my sink still had hair from the previous owner, my toilet was running, cracked and corroded and my carpet was stained. During my contract I experienced my fan falling off the ceiling, my air conditioner not working during the summer and my heater not working during the winter, maintenance would come in while I was gone and not leave a note, I had no idea what they were going in my apartment while I was gone. I finally got most of the repairs done and wasn't in the position to move so I signed a 6 months contract. The 6 months flew by and I decided to leave, I left with no problems, I turned in my keys and was told I was good to go. However, it's a year later and I got a call from a bill collector saying that I owe money to St. Tropez. What a big SCAM according to these people I caused $300 of damage to my apartment. Wondering what these "damages" were I set an appointment up to speak with the office Manager, but I got the assistant manger instead. I got there and explained what was going on and wondered why I was never contacted about owing them money...They put me back in the waiting area and the Manager tells the assistant manager " we aren't even supposed to talk to her once the bill goes to collections...I'm going on lunch" lol The assistant manager was nice enough to still try to help me out, but the whole situation was very UNPROFFESIONAL. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I decided to apply for a St. Tropez unit nearly two months ago, even though construction was going on, and the place looked like a dump, I decided to move forward because I really liked the upgraded units and the low cost. Well after paying my applicant fee and admin fee, which the admin fee was to be held and returned if I changed my mind, I decided I was going to hold off on moving because I made other plans. I then come to find out that the day after applying, my money order had already been cashed by the manager and deposited into the bank. It's been a month and a half and I still haven't received my money. I get the run around, and the manager never calls me back. I'm so glad I did not move in, because this is how life would be at St. Tropez.

This place is a SH*T HOLE. they charge you every month for pest control, however everyones units are infested with roaches. pest control never even showed up to my apartment until 4 months in, after which i had been told they spray every monday; no they dont. second off, my electric bill was through the roof. why? their meters had been giving high readings and had my power shut off for 4 hours trying to fix it without so much as a warning. my water heater was leaking the first month i lived here, then 4 months later it was leaking AGAIN, maintenance took 2 days to fix that. now 2 weeks later, my water heater is STILL LEAKING and is also covered in hundreds of ants. just dont move here. youll be sorry you ever did.
