BED BUGS!!! I would avoid this place!! they were found in the walls, halls and floors. So HORRIBLE they had to change the name of the building because of all the bad reports. See my other review on the old building's name and also search this apartments old name "Sunset Towers" the company owners have not changed only the name has changed.

**Update**2/14/18**This management continues to go above and beyond for me with a recent attempt to move. The move fell through, but Hightower was still there to pick me up and continue to give me a great service and an amazing place to stay! management has been super helpful with the recent updates. 1/7/18-Two new lovely ladies have taken over and are managing and have been very informative. Im currently looking to buy a home and Hightower has recently updated policies to allow a small deposit to leave your 1 year lease after 60 days if you find that dream home. I still enjoy the location and apartment itself, but that could be because I have a south facing unit on the upper floors at the end of the hallway. I still would recommend this place to anyone!**Update** 8/15/17 management has provided a window unit to combat the problem, it's not a looker, but my apartment is finally a cool 70 degrees. Kim, the new manager is very reasoning and willing to compromise to make things work and she is the only reason I'm updating from 1 star **Update** I have put in several complaints about my apartment being at 83 degrees plus with no resolution and multiple excuses for the problem! I will be putting in a complaint to Utah housing authority and attempting to terminate my lease with reimbursement! I'm hate that it has come to this, but we are at our 3rd summer with unacceptable conditions. ** Glad Selma is gone from this establishment. New Management is alot more precise and friendly and treat you with respect. Now for the bad, The "AC" is actually a huge swamp cooler so my apartment sits at about 82-85 with fans on and device on full blast. The parking situation can be tough if your home after 10pm, And sharing the gas bill with all tenants is communism, IMO. The Benefits are the security of the building and parking area, The onsite laundry facility that take's Debit/Credit, and the 24/7 On site fitness center. I also truly enjoy my views from the 11th floor facing south side! If rent goes any higher without fixes to the problems listed above, i will be leaving, but for know I truly enjoy the comfort and security of this hotel, I meant apartment haha

I lived here for two years. I moved from NYC without seeing the place. I went on the very high yelp reviews. 1 year on the first floor and the second in the penthouse. Any issue I had Adrian, their maintenance personal was always on top of it. He is extrely friendly and does what he can to resolve any issue. The current property manager, Kim, is so very friendly and professional. She, like Adrian always goes above and beyond. Ive read the negative reviews and I would say they have never rented an apartment before or owned a house. I have nothing but great things to say about living in the great downtown location. If its so great why did I move? I spend about 4 days a month in Utah so I downsized. That is it. I thank them all for all they did for me and the great times I had.

Apartments are good, but the rent is too high. I lived for 6 months in a 1 BHK apt. The bedroom was not very spacious, but the living and kitchen area were very spacious and aesthtic. The rent was 1100/month. The rent doesn't include utilities which are needlessly high ($ 80-100/month excluding electricity and wifi). Apartment complex includes a Gym and a laundry service which are in good shape. Management are strict and not empathetic. I would advise to look around rather than staying here. Another issue is frequent changes in management, in the 6 month which I lived in the apartment complex, the manager changed 3 times. Also, regarding deposit, they use about 40% for apartment maintenance even if apartment is in a good shape, but are prompt and easy to approach regarding the refund checks.

I've lived here for a year and I can't remember a time that our kitchen faucet or shower water ran clear. I just filled a glass and it's literally almost opaque with rust or something. There are HUNDREDS of box elder bugs in the windows that come back in a matter of days after vacuuming them all up. They said that they spray for the bugs twice a year but that's never happened. Speaking of windows, they are double paned and SO loud if there is even a slight breeze outside. They raddle and whistle basically 24/7. Parking is a joke, first come first serve so everyone's friends come and take up all the spots. If you get home after 9pm every single spot will be taken. Management is almost impossible to reach. Can't wait to leave here.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! HORRIBLE MANAGMENT!! We moved in and were told we signed a year lease. 11 months of that lease came and went and before we know it we get a phone call from management saying that our lease was up the previous day.. Without any warning whatsoever. They lied to us about our year lease catching us off guard and then hit us with a ridiculous month to month fee for the last month we lived there. Then we finally move out and leave the place absolutely spotless, hiring a cleaning service and everything, it honestly looked better on the way out then when we moved in. A few weeks later, after we had moved out, we get another $300 worth of fees for supposed "cleaning costs" and "damages" that were nonexistent. These people are nothing but money suckers and will do anything to get every penny out of you. Me and my roommate are college kids who don't have a lot of money and would NOT recommend living here if you want any money left in your bank account. Absolutely ridiculous!! If you like to be hit with lies, fees, penalties and a never-ending nightmare, be my guest and live here.
