Update: Emma reached out to me through e-mail assuring me that this issue would be resolved. Once I provided her with the updated email she told me it shouldnt take more than 24 hours to get the new email account registered. She emailed me after business hours and advised me that the account was registered sooner than expected and try to accept the invite to the Amazon Hub System. Sure enough the e-mail was there and I was able to get enrolled. Emma went above and beyond in ensuring that my issue received attention and was addressed. Emma was just recently promoted to the Associate Property Manager and I can certainly see why. I highly recommend you renting from Village Place!
The touring and application process was very smooth. I toured an apartment with Emma and decided to put my application in. Once approved the move-in process was painless. The buildings were just recently built and are very modern. My only issue so far has been with their advertised Amazon Hub Locker, which was one of the main reasons I chose this location over others.
I realized that the email Village Place enrolled my Amazon Hub Locker account to, never received emails from Amazon my entire time having an account, as if my email just blocked everything from Amazon. So I changed my Amazon email to an Outlook account and I started receiving Amazon emails again. I then went to the Village Place Office and explained my issue with the staff and they seemed helpful, they told me they would try changing my email and would call me when it was finished. I never received a call. A few days later I went back to the office to ask if the email was ever changed and was told that I had to call Amazon myself and deal with the issue through them since its their locker. I called Amazon three different times, today being the most recent. Each time the Amazon Hub Locker Rep always tells me that they cannot make changes to a Residents Enrollment and that this is done through the property manager. I discussed this with the staff at Village Place and explained that Amazon told me it had to be done through the property manager. I was again told that I had to call Amazon.
Its frustrating that nobody was willing take the time to address this issue and actually resolve it. Nobody seemed to actually care and just kept telling me that I needed to call Amazon, only for Amazon to tell me its actually done through the property manager.
So because this issue wasnt worth Village Place addressing, anytime a package from Amazon is delivered to the lockers, I will have to wait until business hours and ask a staff member to open the locker for me. Otherwise, I will have to wait on hold with Amazon and try to get codes for each individual order.
So if youre looking to rent here and use Amazon quite often, make sure you never need to change your email. Other than that I would recommend this Apartment Community.
