Around 4500 students are enrolled at CBU. About 63% of the students are women. Around 80% of students have cars. It is not a super diverse school, with about 70% of the student population being White, 20% Hispanic, and about 8% Black. In Riverside, there are over 300,000 residents. It is 56.5% White, 7.4% Asian, 7% Black, 1.7% Filipino, 1.6% Chinese, 1% Native American. Hispanic or Latino people of any race were 49% of the population, and 42% of the population is Mexican. Around 50% of the population is made up of married couples. The biggest employer in town is the County of Riverside, followed by UC Riverside, and the Riverside School District.
