I would absolutely not live here anytime soon. There are these kids that blast their music throughout the entire complex from the parking lot for HOURS. We ask them to stop and they turn it up louder. The police have been called on them multiple times from all different residents, but because the noise ordinance policy doesn't start until 10pm, they do what they want. We've called Aston Ridge and they say they'll work on it, but they haven't done anything for months.
If you enjoy your time when you're at home, don't move here.
We have lived here for 3 years and it was fine the first year, but has gotten considerably worse. This summer our AC was out for a whole month. We were calling every few days and they gave us a different story each time. I finally had to contact lawyers and together we called the property owners and they put me in a hotel and had it fixed that day.
It's honestly a great location here. It's close to the mall and Richmond, but I promise you it's not worth the living in misery while you're here.

I've had an almost spotless record with the rental office for years and I had a financial hardship one month. I told them I would be one day late on rent, days in advance. They refused to work with me on the late fees. There are so many better places to live. This will be my last year here.

Half our electrical sockets dont work, they love finding ways to charge extra money and they try to appear friendly with community activities and such. Also, my fianc and I pay the same amount for our tiny 1BR apt as our best friends do in another apartment complex... but they have 3 bedrooms!! Look elsewhere.

I give Aston Ridge 1 star, because of the school systems. The schools are wonderful. The new management is horrible even the person at corporate I talk to. They have roaches,bedbugs,slugs ,centipedes, big water bugs it's like I live outside. They told me I must have bought bedbugs in, no ma'am I go to work and come home they are not at my job. They come from close quarters like living in Apartments. She told me they don't travel in the walls that's a lie they have had several cases they are keeping it hush hush. My 2 year old got bit and so did I. They won't reimburse me for anything. The people over me smoke my kids have asthma the smoke comes through the vents. They said I could move out then if I had a Doctors note. They don't care about you. I don't recommend them to a dog. Please don't go there even the renovated units have roaches.

* no after hours maintenance emergency even if you have a gas leak making all your family sick
* staff is pretty rude
* never paid late before ever but if you do it's $75 a day late fee plus $50 attorneys fee
* can't pay with debit card in office
* never get our mail our neighbors get it sometimes and give it to us even though it had our correct address
*Office won't let you're 17 yr old kids in if locked out, even if you're home sleeping because "if they are not 18 letting them inside is a liability "
* you can not put maintenance requests in at the office only through the portal online or by calling
Also with not receiving mail, when my debit card expired the bank mailed me a new one that I never received, my best by credit card also lost in the mail and my child's debit card was lost in the mail it's just supper sketchy don't expect to be able to get anything valuable by mail because it will probably disappear I ended up reporting they were never received they were all cancelled
Also there are a lot of cases of people openly doing drugs walking around getting high or drunk
Drunk drivers hit my car in the parking lot and though I filed a police report there is nothing they can do about it because I have no proof

Renovations are now in full affect and the property is enhancing beautifully. The schools are EXCELLENT and highly recommended! Come see what Aston Ridge is all about

Worst place I EVER lived in my life! I wouldn't refer anyone to come pay $1000 rent and full utilities to live amongst trailor trash and scalowags. This is worse than any project development in Richmond. From the electrical sockets which will burn out your tv's, computers, and appliances, low to no maintenance, as well as a pile up of bogus charges to ruin your rental history, it's suggested you look elsewhere. This is Slumdog village.

. They treat u like its your fault when things break and then you have to hear maintenance complain about there job (which they have one Guy so it takes forever to get anything fixed). Oh and lets not forget about the ROACHES. I'm moving asap. I wouldn't recommended this place to my worst enemy!

The office and maintenance staff are great. if i have anything broken they fix it. the pool is beautiful i have great neighbors. i really recommend these apts. for anybody. if you need a handicapped space they will make one for you these other reviews dont seem anything like the sunrise apts. i live at
