I would probably give 3.5 if that was an option. The 1-1.5 star reduction is not necessarily because of anything that the management has control over. What other people say about the noise issues with neighbors is true, there is definitely thin walls in these apartments. What some people may not understand from a property manager's perspective (I am in property management so I do) is that there is nothing they can actually do about it. The cost of REBUILDING a building to reduce the issues is beyond the worth of doing so. That is what would have to be done to change it on the physical aspects of the building being the main problem here. However, the management team here is more than happy to try and assist you with the issues experienced because of this part of living here-which they really don't have to be willing to when someone signs up to live in a multi-family housing unit. With the noise issues I experienced, they sent notices, made personal phone calls, and even offered to transfer me to another apartment FREE OF CHARGE which I know being behind the scenes is an expensive venture. You lose money on both apartments when transferring someone after they have moved in without the resident making any financial contribution to that process. The only other issue I had was with a maintenance issue regarding a leak on the foundation. The person I initially dealt with in the office was rude, did not respond appropriately, and did not offer the correct solution. At the time this was of course quite frustrating, however I explained to her from someone in the industry what I needed done to properly deal with the issue and it was taken care of in the proper time frame once pushed along to higher people. I believe she was relatively new and unexperienced, and it was relayed to me by the manager of the community that she would be receiving some additional training to ensure that in future similar situations others would not experience the same service I did. People who say there isn't parking are not incorrect, however every apartment comes with a reserved parking space which is more than a lot of communities offer for no additional charge and is more than kind of them to do. There is not a ton of additional parking but again, this is the life of multi-family living and honestly is something you sign up for when not buying your own home with as much parking as you want. The apartments are remodeled well, the service team is prompt and respectful, the office team is nice and responsive with all issues, and the property offers a great location with a nice setting and good amenities at a fair price. these are some of the better apartments in the area and I can attest to this as I looked at 13 other communities in the area before choosing this community and I am of the harshest judgers of apartments as I work at an apartment community. As far as move-outs go people are complaining about move-out charges that are standard at every apartment community and are of the actual cost of them getting the apartment ready for the next person. They do not over charge by an means, and it does take a long time and a lot of money to get an apartment ready for another person to move in. I can attest to the cost and I know they charge fairly even looking at other reviews on here, not just my experience. Overall I would recommend this community especially compared to what else is in the area. If you are noise sensitive, go with a top floor apartment and you won't have that issue.
