The atmosphere was amazing! The wait staff was great. The wait to get the food was really good, not too long but not so fast that you think it's not going to be good. The food was the best I've had in Pittsburgh so far....and what a view!!

This movie theater has comfy seats and fair prices but there were several hiccups that effected my experience. My friend and I were sold tickets for an earlier showing, one that was already 20 minutes into the movie which meant we didn't know which theater to go to for the right showing. The popcorn was burnt and unsalted but still edible The theater was also very warm. The movie actually started 10 minutes late, after my friend went to the lobby to ask if we were in the right theater and the staff said they forgot to start it. Once the movie started it wasn't a terrible experience just all the little hassles added up to a less enjoyable time.

This place is nice BUT the air conditioning was out when the movie started. No one from the theater said anything about it. We ended up staying because my kids were begging to see this movie. The reason I gave it 2 stars is because they have $5 Monday night and the clerk gave me a free soda when I went to the desk to ask about the temperature.

Great movie theatre however the late staff can be INCREDIBLY rude. Been a few times after 8 and was appalled by the attitude I received from employees. I understand they may be late and tired but there are showings that we should not be treated rudely for going to. Otherwise good prices and snack bar is nice! Will go again just not to a late show. Would rather go to a Theatre further to avoid the treatment here.

Came here for Avengers Infinity War on 5/12, Saturday at 4:15pm. Two men were working the concession stand and the theater was mostly empty. We purchased our tickets then came back to purchase a large soda after I used the facilities. The first guy that rang us up was pleasant and kind. The second guy seemed annoyed and had an overall bad attitude. Very curt, didn't thank us and seemed to have a chip on his shoulder. Okayyyyy.... We weren't sure if we could go into the house showing the movie because the door was shut and it still listed the previous time on the sign. After standing around for a few and realizing the movie started in 15 minutes, I went in to look and sure enough advertisements were playing. Inside the theater was discarded drinks in holders, and trash and popcorn on the floor from (assuming) the previous showing. Earlier I saw behind the concession stand the bottom portion of a broom on the floor. Classy. Overall, an uncomfortable feeling and not impressed with what could potentially be a great theatre.

Got denied to see Black Panther because I had a child under 2. I've been to every other theater within the city and experience many other parties with children under the age accompanied by adults. Mind you, this is occurring on a weekday months after the move comes out. Out shopping after work & figured to just catch a movie, go figure this bs happens. Not my 1st negative experience at this ratchet place either

I was told it is easier to check their IDs if they have to come through one door after the 6 o'clock curfew. What's happening in the South Side?!?

This is a nice, little theater. The staff seems nice the times Ive been here, ticket prices are cheap and popcorn/beverages are standard price. The chairs are also the most comfortable out of the three theaters Ive been to in the Pittsburgh area. I dont really have anything to complain about, I get the appropriate services for good prices and a nice experience along the way

So I came to this cinema a few days ago with my friend and when we tried to see the 6:30 showing of Black Panther we were asked for our ids. When we told her that were only 15-16 years old and that we didn't have ids, she told us about the 6:00 curfew in the South Side and that we had to be at least 17 years old. Is it possible for the cinema to update their website and make people aware of their "6:00 curfew" so people who are underage don't have to waste their time going the hour and a half commute here?

I don't know why they have that policy but it's ridiculous, do they think I'm going to violate the place or something. I find other theaters more enjoyable than this one! If you're not 17 DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TO COME TO THIS ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.s.they charge too much for food

We went to a special showing of the new movie Black Panther. Marvel Studios outdid itself with the all star black cast, director and animator of the Black Panther comic. The movie needed 2D to make the awesome experience just all the better. The drum call and African Dancers from Ibeji Drumming was great. Wakanda Forever! !!

This place. I've been coming to this theater since it opened, as a south side native it was nice to have this feature. For the past ten years I have enjoyed this place twice a month, every month. @ $9.25 a ticket that's well over $2,000 of my money I have personally contributed to the theater. Tonight, while seeing the Kingsman, a high school staff member, Eric I believe said I wasn't allowed a drink at the stand, I had asked why, no response I had asked "don't large drinks get free refills?". Still no response, finally I told the kids, "what's the point of buying a large?" He responded by saying "that's very good question" and continued to ignore me. I approached the manager to address the issue and to no shock or surprise, he did not care, and did nothing to satsfy a humble and frequent guest. I'll take my business elsewhere.

My move in experience did not go over smoothly but management was understanding and good about making things right. The few weeks I have lived here have been good so far, I'm loving the amenities and the location is great. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The walls separating apartments are quite good at keeping noise contained, I haven't heard a peep from neighbors through the wall. My apartment faces the courtyard which gives me a great view of its beauty, but there have been a couple times where noisy neighbors/guests are out in the shared spaces at late hours on week nights. Closing my window shut most of the sound out though. Overall good experience so far, though not quite the oasis I had built it up to be in my mind prior to moving in. Updating to 3 stars as I'm now getting these hidden fees no one cared to mention prior to move in. I knew about them from reading through the lease, but I only received that the evening before moving in so it's not like I could back out at that point. All the common areas use up electricity and water so they split the bill between all the residents ($36 this month). All the lights are left on 24/7 so that's gonna add up. They use an awful company called AUM (look them up, nothing but 1-star reviews) to manage the billing. AUM charges an $8 fee for the convenience of paying online with credit card or through bank account. Then there's rent payment. The property encourages you to pay online but doesn't mention the 3% or so fee added on to the rent through the online site. So there's an additional $35+ a month if you want the convenience of paying online. So lots of small things can add up to an even higher rent than you were expecting.

Come on guys this is 2017 do we not know what container to house popcorn and their buttery goodness? $5 Mondays are great but the butter drops that ruin my clothes greatly outweigh the price. It's hard to give such a harsh rating, however it really come down to the employees over the past few years and how they haven't taken care of it. They simply DON'T want to work. Loads of popcorn is always on the hallway floors, employees play with their cellphones & horse play instead of greeting customers, and the standard sticky show room floors. The cinema is located in a nice shopping square in the city which should handled with great care to invite locals and out of town visitors. I visit it out of convenience and wish to visit more. To the mgmt, please take care of this place & help shine some light on the South Side Works. If the next few visits get better, I'll gladly change the rating. It really hurts to 2 star this place.

I am done with this place. 2 out of 3 reviews on here are employees. I lived there for 10months. They treat people like you are a child everything has hours on it including the Clubhouse witch I was told was 24/7 when I was to move in. And when I left I noticed that there was more then a fare share of people leaving as well. You do not get what you pay for here rent isn't competitive there are better deals just across the street at hot metal Apartments or any where else. So if you want try pay 200-300usd more for things advertised but don't get feel free

STAY AWAY FROM THIS THEATRE!! I always loved this theatre because of nostalgia but now it lost it's touch. First of all I tried entering the back entrance near the parking garage like I always do until I got screamed at by the security guard that I can't go in that way that I have to walk around to the front. So I get to the front and all of the doors are locked except for one. I enter and pay for my tickets then walk the stairs up because the escalator was broken and gave the high school kid my ticket and he was like I have to check your purse for weapons. I stated I carry a 2 inch retractable knife for self defense because a girl needs something to defend herself with. He then stated I can't enter, after I already paid for the movie. I didn't want to walk all the way back to the parking garage and come back because I would of missed part of the movie I paid for. I like going to the movies to escape the bullcrap that's going on in the world and instead I felt like an inmate at a prison and my whole movie going experience was completely ruined!
