DO not sign a lease early, My grand daughter signed a lease early in her freshman year but decided to transfer for her junior year. I know a lease is binding so my compaint is that when I called to talk to them they told me since it was so early & that was there most popular unit they were sure it would lease it. Called back several times & was told the same thing. I'm sure I was talking to college kids. Finally got to talk to a manager & she was no help. I asked to talk to her boss & she said she would have him call me. Called her back twice because he never called me. He never did. Now they have turned this over to credit company & I no longer have a excellent credit score. But I will not pay because I know this was not handled right.
Do not sign up for this place. Worst experience ever. My son has not even taken possession yet and the customer service is horrible....
Do not sign up for this place. Worst experience ever. My son has not even taken possession yet and the customer service is horrible. Weve been trying to relet the apartment space, paid the fee, and they wont let us out of the contract. I told them the circumstances of why and they cared less. Showed no compassion. My son is forced to either go ahead and just stay here or find somebody to take over the lease. I was told that if I go ahead and pay the relet fee, that they would find someone. That hasnt happened yet. I been trying to get this done for almost two months. Now bare in mind, we still havent taken possession because move in is not until Aug 15. You cant get in touch with anyone in corporate either. Leave this place alone. Its not worth the trouble.

Poor management, extremely slow maintenance, everyone lives there would tell you that things are keep broken, the leaking roof and collapsed ceilings are very very common. Clubhouse closed earlier than other apartments in Oxford.

The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is kept in working order. They have a swimming pool, exercise room, tanning bed, and a theater room to go and enjoy all furnished with your lease! I would recommend Domain to anyone!

I've lived here for 2 years now and I'm pleased. The original owners were unresponsive to resident issues, but new ownership seems to have solved that issue. We had a leak coming from the apartment above ours and the staff was quick to get someone in to take a look and fix it.
Some of the finishings are cheap and done poorly. For instance the appliances are the bottom tier GE appliances you would find in a vacation rental. But for a college apartment it isn't bad at all. I don't know what other reviewers were expecting, this isn't your mom's dream kitchen so don't expect Viking appliances and marble countertops.
The rent isn't cheap, but it's fair for the market it's in. All other complexes in Oxford with similar amenities and square footage go for the same prices.
All in all, not a bad choice if you're a student at Ole Miss and the helpful staff sets the Domain apart from other complexes.

The management of this place is more concerned about team building by getting drunk than running a proper business. They do worry about their money by firing the dedicated staff who have families to support and hiring in 22 year olds with no experience or professionalism. Constant turnover each time the company sells out. Hold on cause they will again. They do not listen to members of their own teams but instead back stab each other like a bunch of high school girls. This building was tossed together like a make shift cardboard box. You can put makeup on it but deep down it's ugly, ugly.

-The buildings/materials are cheap and appliances break often.
-The staff is unprofessional.
-Management systems and policies, or lack there of, are inconsistent.
-There have been a number of break-ins and robberies, leaving many residents feeling unsafe regardless of the front gate.
-The apartments are small, cramped and loud. The small windows in the common areas leave the apartments feeling like a dungeon. When we signed we expected it to be homey.
It's not. The general atmosphere is closed off and unwelcoming.
-They boast about having the fastest wifi but it never seems to work.
-I also find it disheartening that the majority of the "5 Star Reviews" were obviously intentionally written by friends of the staff. So why trust those?
As a senior at Ole Miss I have lived in a few other off-campus residencies and this is easily the worst.
Also a little disclaimer-- Jimmy Johns doesn't deliver to the Domain and that just really sucks (I know this is not the Domain's fault at all I just wanted to put it out there).
Of course there are some things I do like: the fact that the apartments are furnished is convenient and the pool and gym are nice.
Also, the maintenance staff is so kind.
But all in all I would not recommend signing a lease here.

Really nice property and awesome amenities! I wouldn't even consider any of the other student housing options. The Domain went above and beyond on designing the units. Definitely didn't even have to think about renewing my lease. The staff is one of the best parts about The Domain.

The Domain at Oxford is a newly built student apartment complex. They offer rooms with 1, 2, 3, or 4 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and walk in closet. The rooms are nice and furnished. The club house has a lot of useful amenities, like a computer room, theater, game room, gym, study rooms and cycling studio. They have a resort style pool with a hot tub and 2 gas grills. There is a lot of parking and the complex is gated. The staff is friendly and the monthly rent ranges from $600-$1000 depending on your room.
