We recently were taken on a tour of the Promontory apartment complex by Leasing Consultant Carrie Priest. We were blown away by the luxurious model apartment and amenities provided by the complex; from the year around open outdoor heated pool, outdoor theater for residents to view sporting events, multiple fire pits and grills, 24-7 weight room, and so much more. This is a multi-level complex with convenient indoor elevators. Underground garage parking is also available. Promontory was built in 2018 and is beautifully maintained. Many restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. While touring, we ran across a resident picking up a package, and she voluntarily and cheerfully demonstrated the secured but convenient package lock box. I inquired how long she has been a resident, she said since June and couldn't be more pleased with the complex. Carrie Priest was a real pleasure to work with, her enthusiasm for Promontory was very evident as she took us on tour, this complex is a real gem for Overland Park, KS.

There are many positives of living here: high ceilings, nice furnishes, large living spaces, large bathrooms with double sinks, parking garage with parking on each level. The amenities are nice: large pool with plenty of chairs, great green space to watch sporting events, good work out area (even if everyone doesn't wear masks), and yoga studio with spin bikes. The complex does good events too. Often times they supply drinks/food/games or even bingo during the pandemic. Unfortunately for me, it doesn't make up for the con. After two years the complex continues to struggle with the all the fire alarms going off randomly. It could be 2am or 2pm. Lately they have been happening more during the day. If you work from home or have dogs I do not recommend living here. I can't even remember the number of work calls that have been interrupted due to the alarms going off with no notice. My poor dog shakes for hours after due to shock and loudness of the alarm.

We just renewed our lease for this apartment complex for another 18 months. Our apartment is spacious and has lots of windows which is perfect for us. The staff is top tier and the amenities are outstanding. Maintenance is also quick to respond. We are very happy here and highly recommend it! Our grandchildren made the comment that this place is like living in a resort and we totally agree with that assessment!

I needed an apartment to stay in while doing business in KC and I searched all over the KC Metro area looking for a place. I eventually decided to stay here, and I am so glad I did! My apartment is modern and stylish. It has high ceilings and nice fixtures and furnishings. It feels safe and quite here (I don't hear my neighbors). There is a nice running path/circle here and there are many nice shopping choices within walking distance. On top of that...and here's the kicker.... the staff and management team here are super excellent! I did not think something like that should matter much (I am not very experienced renting), but the difference is MASSIVE. They go out of their way to ensure that everything is perfect. Above and beyond what anyone would ever expect. I am so glad that I am here and would highly recommend this place to anyone interested in a upscale apartment complex that is modern, stylish, safe, quite, located close to lots of decent shopping choices, and managed by a team that goes out of their way to ensure that everything extraordinary.
