Hi Ashley - I understand you are in contact with Emi about her experience. She was the resident and wrote the review, I was trying to help her resolve the issues, but not sure why you responded to my name. I do agree with her review, and she didnt even mention the blind they were charged $65 for when it was broken when they moved it (vertical blind taped to the clip) and numerous other issues. We moved here as our first apartment in May of 2016 the lake and central location being the main attraction. Over the 2 years we lived there, the management changed at least 3 times and the things they would try to get away with were ridiculous. We had a broken dishwasher for 6 weeks, a broken washing machine for 4 weeks, and a broken air conditioner for 8 months. After having to repeatedly go in and ask for maintenance to come, they would come in assess what was broken, say they would order a part, and I wouldnt hear back for another 2.5 weeks until I went BACK in to ask. They said the broken air conditioner wasnt a priority until it is 90 degrees in your apartment Im sorry what??
When we renewed our lease in May 2017 we were not told about the upcoming construction on the pool and clubhouse. So they raised our rent $10 a month and took away our amenities. In February of 2018 we received notice that if we renewed our lease, they would be raising our rent $100 a month to $895 which is absolutely ridiculous for a one bedroom with no lake view or garage.We were very naive because it was our first apartment complex, but we now live in the Oaks at Lakeview (another seldin property) and it is a night and day difference. Now Westport wants me to pay $200 for most last months rent, including a $20 move out fee and other ridiculous charges. OH and they are trying to scam me by saying we did not pay a deposit when we did. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE

This is a Beautiful place to live and I should know cuz I live here but there is always construction and when there is construction they work on it a tiny bit and just leave it. my air conditioner
doesnt work they fixed it one time but it is still broken and the pool they are working on has been not open for at lest 5 or 6 months. And its summer already so why dont they open it?? I am getting a new house for my family and I am so happy to be leaving this place. But I am also sad cuz my dog loves it here and he loves the ducks going on walks. If u wanna live here go for it but the only thing is they have HORRIBLE management.

Plus for the 9 months we have been here the clubhouse and pool have been under construction. No pool, no work out area, and no clubhouse for occasions.
Beautiful apartment and view but appliances need replacing/updating and apartment is always cold!
