My house smells like weed every day when I get home from work due to poor ventilation, the office doesnt get anything done when said and is extremely disorganized. 3 times Me and my children have been woken up by people at 3-4am clearly under the influence of something in the parking lot outside our house. I refuse to even unpack anything else, this place doesnt even feel like home and Im extremely dissatisfied. I dont recommend coming here.

IVE BEEN LIVING HERE FOR ONLY FOUR MONTHS!!!! Thus far Ive experienced my heater going out in early February (took two weeks to get fixed), a MASSIVE roach infestation in March (my wife and I are very clean people) IT TOOK THEM TWO WEEKS TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THESE ROACHES!!! AND THEY JUST PUT THE CHEAP POWDER DOWN!!! DIDNT DO THE TRICK, after a MONTH of calling and speaking with maintenance they finally bombed the place for roaches. We FOUND AND KILLED OVER 80 roaches!!! ALSO THE MANAGEMENT IGNORED OUR CALLS FOR HELP!!! I literally tested the theory, called them on my work phone right after I tried my personal and they answered immediately. That happened FOUR TIMES!!! Then last month my AC went out!!!! Took about five days for that. THEN!!!! WE HAD FLOODING FROM THE APARTMENT BEHIND US!!! NO ONE CALLED TO TELL US. OUR STUFF WAS SOAKED AND SO MUCH RUINED!!!! I wouldnt recommend this to ANYONE.

The office staff are very rude and unprofessional. The ladies in that office have no customer service quality about them period. They wont let you speak. They hang up in your face and just rude and unprofessional all the way around. Make your experience here sickening. Ive also been waiting for them to come fix my dishwasher and the leak in my ceiling since last month, nothing yet.. when it rains my apartment flood with water from under the wall, notified months ago and still nothing. A convenient place just because of the school across the street but thats it. My advice explore your options before moving here..

This place is SUPER SHADY. I asked if there where any move in ready apartments after getting a tour of one and was told that there was, I filled out an application and put the deposit down and was asked to forge some paperwork, I said no. Then, a few days later I was told that there was not an apartment available for me and there wouldnt be one ready for another several weeks. I found another complex to move in to and went back to ask for the money from my deposit back, I knew I wouldnt get all of it back because of the application fee but instead of getting at least some of it back they told me no refunds and said that the deposit was for them to hold an apartment for me but I wasnt even given an apartment to move into. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, they may have fixed the the community but the people in the office are thieves.

I'm glad that the community has new owners. They really care about the community and its appearance! The renovations coming along beautifully. The new staff is very professional, customer service oriented and have great communication skills! Plus, they are bilingual agents The community has changed to a higher clientele, which makes it a little safer, giving residence a piece of mind. They have a NO FELONY POLICY! 24 hour on call maintenance assistance is great. Communications via phone and text to solve problems quick and effectively. They also clean the property every morning. Even though this seems like a small minut point.. the complex is civically engaged in their community they have a recycling bin that donates to breast cancer awareness!

Im going to tell you the truth about this place because i know how important reviews are they do still except section 8 so ppl please stop saying that and second when i moved in i didnt have some roaches but i got rid of them by bombing twice and jus keeping clean i do believe that is jus do to there being so many vacant apts around and third my fridge did go out over the weekend i called maintenance and they sent some out to look at it at 10 o'clock at night which was ok with me and had it fixed first thing that Monday morning so they do fix things and fourth over all the apartment complex is quite i havent had any issues since being here which is great due to how they were when they were BRITTON COURTYARDS it is much better on but i do hate that the have all the dumpsters in one area i understand why they did it due to someone setting them on fire but it jus sucks walking so far....but to me its a nice place and the management you do uave to kinda call and stay on things but they do have alot going on so its easy to get side tracked....but come check it out!!

I been living here about a year and there are things that still was never fixed. I had a flood and my floors are messed up and I still haven't gotten it fixed. And I don't get air through out the whole unit. They have to work more to fixed things here otherwise the staff is decent. Also I understand the gates being closed for the safety of children but moving Garbage Cans was out of whack cause who has the time or ability to walk all the way to the other side to dump trash that's not fair.

I've been living in Britton court yard apartments for 7years and I've never had a problem until they sold it to Yarco Co. they're management,maintenance was horrible. It took them almost six months to fix my bathroom sink. But now Yarco sold it to Hefner lakes and they are awesome they fixed everything in my apartment in the first week they took over . They're staff is courteous and helpful so is they're maintance crew. I know it's taking them some time to bring the property back up to date. . I understand many residents are upset Bc they moved the trash containers to the rear of the apartments. Reason being is someone' started a fire, and it's not the first time that has happened. It all has to do with the fire department safety precautions and regulations. As for myself I rather be safe than sorry. I think Hefner lake is doing a fantastic job at updating this property. However they do need more than one maintenances employee. It's such a huge property for one maintenance Employee. The owners need to do something about the trash containers situation Bc it's not fair for the handicap, and the elderly who can't walk or are wheelchair bound.

A/c goes out in the middle of Summer? Do not expect it to get fixed anytime soon. The management here are the biggest bunch of unprofessionals I have ever encountered. Brad, the property manager is beyond rude when approached about a problem with your unit. If you want comfortable living, look elsewhere, Britton Courtyards do not offer it.
