Im giving one star because there is no half star rating. We have been here a little over a week and still no washer and dryer - SUPPOSEDLY Lowes is the hold up as they are running behind AND as of today we have been without water since this morning. Contractor for AT&T cut the water line and we still have no water at 8 pm. I WISH I HAD NOT MOVED HERE!!!! Heed the reviews.

STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! These apts are cheaper but complete slums. I'm a responsible pet owner so I've medicated against all complaints and it has helped. Ive also had maintenance called repeatedly without them really doing anything. Here is a complete list. Some of these are against state law but I can't afford to so anything about it. - fleas,ticks, and ringworm heavily present without ground treatment - roaches and they rarely spray - plumbing is subpar out toilets never flush completely and are always clogged. Our sinks and showers drain slow. - dry wall rotten, almost all of what I've hung on the wall has fallen. - floor uneven. My toilet leans so bad nothing will stay on the back. - washer connection leaks - dryer vent clogged and shared with neighbor. Neighbors backs up into our severely. - car broken into - water and electricity repeatedly interrupted without notice - if you do have a maintenance ticket in it takes several days for them to do anything. - fridge freezes things no matter setting - on 2nd floor and have felt floor breakdown under foot. I could probably go on and I'm a tolerant person who has lived in apartments elsewhere that would have locally been considered ghetto. These are the worst. I hope to save someone else from what my family is going through. STAY AWAY!

You will never get decent sleep here, multiple houses in the adjacent neighborhood have aggressive dogs that bark incessantly. Trying to reason with the dog owners is impossible as they cannot understand English and are quite unreasonable. My advice is to spend the money on a quiet place to live

Cheap rent? Definitely! But why though? It comes with crippling depression at no extra charge! Maybe it's because the adjacent neighborhood is full of big loud dogs that bark constantly. Or maybe it's because most of your power outlets will not work. Or it could be because your garbage disposal will get clogged on anything (seriously don't use it), or it could be because the maintenance professional uses the toilet plunger to unclog your garbage disposal (it will never be replaced). It may also have cheap rent because parking is not regulated and illegally parked vehicles make it a challenge to park or unpark. Did I mention that tje tap water can also be used for hydraulic fracking fluid. Sure it's not the cheapest rent in town but where else can you find chain smoking rude barely literate neighbors who make your front door smell like an ash tray? Yes if you want cheap rent and don't mind depressing and probably not even structurally safe architecture then Sunset is definitely the place for you. Just remember it could always get worse

We were going to get this apartment, but on the website it said all the apartments had washer and dryer hookup but when we called them they said only 2 bedroom has them. This was kinda a deal breaker.

I cannot express in words how much I hated these apartments. The turnover rate for management at this place is ridiculous. Every time I would go in the office to pay my rent (because you cant pay online) I would see someone new. Appliances are super outdated for the amount of rent they are wanting/charging. They want $900.00 for a one bedroom that will take you back to the 1980's. Screw that! When it came time to renew my lease I renewed for a year. (my mistake) When my year was up and it was time for me to turn in my keys they informed me that I owed them for past due rent. Apparently when I re-signed my lease, they did it for month to month instead of a year in their system. It literally took me two weeks to get this problem resolved after calling every day. Not only are these apartments outdated and super ugly, they are not safe whatsoever. My car was stolen August of 2014 right outside my apartment and later found out it was totaled. Overall I would give Sunset Apartments a -5 rating. ***As of today 1/10/17 its been 2 years and still waiting on my refund............Nancy is helpless***

All I can say is DONT MOVE HERE! They are slum lords. If you want to live with roaches, mold and leaks coming for all over the apartment (places like the roof, walls, and AC!). The management never really tried to help, and like the previous comment said there was always new hired management working so they had no history of how long these problems were going on, even though we had dated pictures and hand written letters. Please do yourself a favor and look else where for a home. You have been warned.
