Just recently moved here to the Gentry Townhomes and I absolutely LOVE it!!! My kids love that they have their own rooms now. The manager is the best! She goes above and beyond! She has the biggest heart I've ever seen!! I will be living here a long time! Esp if Angelica is the manager!!! She is the best!!!

Do not rent from these people. They are very rude and they run the company like crap. The management changes so much, it's hard to keep track of who is running the place. The property manager doesn't do their job correctly and the tenants gets punished for it. They never give 24 hour notice before coming into your unit, they did not leave a receipt or note of what they came into your unit to repair, they make up stuff just to charge you, and the list goes on. For a place to ask for that much money, it shouldn't be run by people who doesn't know how to keep up with tenants and paperwork. As for the subsidized part of it, they will screw you over every chance they get cause they know you won't go anywhere if that's all you can afford.

A 1-star rating is too much for this dump. Slumlord landlord has no concern for the safety or health of tenants. Repairs needed that get no attention, moving people in a day after they remove over 300 pizza boxes and MOUNDS of trash bags from a hoarders apt. No clean carpet, no painting, no normal "move-out/in" repairs or preparations made. One of their favorite games is to show prospective tenents an apartment they claim is up for rent and then when you get your keys and sign your lease, the apartment they originally showed is, for whatever reason they use, is unavailable and they move you into a DIFFERENT apartment, for us it was even a different BUILDING! No security, someone broke into one of the buildings WEEKS ago and after numerous calls to Oakdale Village AND their parents company Nationwide housing, still not even a call to get the door fixed has been made according to the receptionist in the office. Cops here CONSTANTLY for one reason or another. Last night someone drove their VEHICLE into the BEDROOM of 2 young girls!! Oakdale Village and Nationwide Housing should be ashamed of what they've turned this place into.

I lived there for 5 years, I regret ever moving there, the Apartment I was in had many issues from sinks backing up flooding the apartment, ceilings caving in twice, the carpets were infested with fleas, black mold on the ceilings, and management coming into my apartment unannounced to do inspections. Moved out last year glad I did. Now I'm just trying to get some of my belongings that were left back but Management has been ignoring my repeated emails. WORST PLACE TO EVER Live

I would not move back to this place if I was homeless! Mangement does not do well and they do not do the things they are supposed to do. I have found dog poop in the halls ways and in the grass. I have found needles in the hallway, this is not a safe environment for children. Things will go unrepaired in your unit for months. Cars her broken into and marijuana smells are all through the hallways. Sad that I had this experience!

Apartment management and maintenance used to be good. However when they got taken by Nation Wide Corporate Housing, went down hill. Now it takes 6 weeks for maintenance to come, when in your handbook it says 24 hours. They will charge you ridiculous amounts for little things of maintenance. Management is spiteful, and will not do anything regarding problems. I have seen maintenance abusing company equipment by using the golf cart to go get alcohol. Always see maintenance just standing around talking.

If you are visiting this apartment complex, MAKE SURE you know where the visitor parking spots are. They have an overflow lot on the east side of the complex and if you make the mistake of parking in the middle row your vehicle WILL be towed. The back row (near the trees) is marked for visitors but the middle row is not marked and it is unclear whether is it reserved for residents only or not. This ambiguity is unacceptable and they have set up a trap for visitors who "accidentally" park in the middle row of the east parking lot. This complex is very proactive in looking for vehicles without a permit, so if you are a visitor, make sure you park in the visitor parking spots!!!!!!
