Located in the borough of the Bronx in New York, there are many, many places to eat close by and just a short subway ride away. If you’re looking to stay close to campus you can head over to Broadway Joe’s Pizza, they make a divine sicilian pizza pie! Just down the street is Riverdale Garden Restaurant & Lounge, they have a all you can eat breakfast buffet with mimosas for only $15. Of course if you want to branch out your eating facilities you can always hop on the 1 train to take you wherever you need to go. In the Bronx you can always catch the New York City Subway run by the Metropolitan Transit Authority. You can take the subway practically anywhere in New York for only a few dollars. You can purchase a Metrocard at the station to ride conveniently. From campus you can take the #1 train all the way down to the South ferry Station at the bottom of Manhattan. You can connect to the A&C trains, as well as the 7 train. Consult your subway map before embarking on your journey if you’re not familiar with the area.

New York Rent Prices More Affordable Than Major Cities

Rent growth in New York over the past year has been on the rise. When compared to major cities nearby, along with some of the most expensive cities in the country, New York average rent prices appear to be relatively affordable for local residents.

To avoid small sample sizes, we restrict the analysis for our reports to cities meeting minimum population and property count thresholds.
