I have lived here for a little over a year. And lived at Lime apartments prior to moving. Overall, great place to live and a great option for those seeking a luxury apartment in the uptown neighborhood. Pros: Great location, most affordable of the newer apartments in uptown, and quiet. Pet friendly - we have a cat and a dog. Great open floor plans for the living room. More square footage overall for how much you pay when compared to the other buildings (i.e. LIME). Great party room which is free to book whenever it is available (more often than not is available). Rooftop patio with great views of the city and a fire pit. Grills that are available both on the rooftops and the courtyard patio. Con? For some people - no pool or hot tub. I personally did not care much for these amenities. You do save money when compared to the neighboring apartments buildings. Lastly, waitlist for a second underground spot (but this isn't unique to this complex either). Just to comment on some of the other reviews - one person did indicate fire alarms as a downside. Not sure what she is referencing - the fire alarm had one scheduled test (very brief) in the more than one year I have been living here. Reviews are obviously subjective, but I have never had issues with noise. The apartments overall are well insulated. There are minor issues that pop up for most apartment complexes, but no major red flags that I have noticed. I can't think of major issues which prompt 1 or 2 star reviews written by some residents.

My wife and I love living here since moving in a month ago. The office staff is very helpful and nice. They are very engaged with the tenants and send out regular email communications and fliers for what is happening at the complex. The only thing that we don't like about the apartment is the wide opening over the master bedroom door. Due to this, the bedroom is very noisy and is very hard for one person to sleep in quiet while anyone else stays up and does whatever. We have put some sound dampening material in the space for now which has helped but definitely not 100%. I would recommend living here; just be mindful of the opening if you are one that likes quiet. We cannot hear our neighbors though which is great and the street traffic on Lyndale is minimal through the windows.

I moved to The Mural of Lynlake in April 2016, and I have enjoyed my experience living here. The staff is very friendly, and will often host happy hours for the building, which is a great way to meet your neighbors. The building has a rooftop patio with a beautiful unobstructed view of downtown, and a surprisingly quiet courtyard with easy access to the Greenway. All and all, I would recommend The Murals of LynLake to anyone looking for a place to live in the Uptown/Lyndale area.

We moved in here earlier this year, and our experience has been excellent - it's quiet, clean, the people who manage the building are incredibly nice. They run the building with great efficiency, concerning all aspects we've seen, ranging from routine maintenance to responsiveness and attention to detail. Easy access to the Greenway for walking and biking is really nice also, as is the building's location right in uptown where so many great restaurants and shops are.

The Murals is a clean, modern building yet quieter/less 'rowdy' than many uptown apartments. Love the big windows and open layouts. Being on the greenway makes the entire city accessible by bike.
