Pros: - Great study spaces - Large bathrooms - Friendly staff - Dogs are allowed - Maintenance workers fixed things within 24 hours - The washers and dryers were nice and big - Plenty of bike racks - They aren't out to get you with fines after you move out Cons: - A lot of the residents were loud and obnoxious Wednesday through Sunday. It's a great place to live if you like to party, but it's a drawback if you don't - The cleaning crew doesn't come on the weekends, which makes for a filthy apartment building. The elevators are trashed after every weekend. - The parking spaces are very narrow. It was tight for me, and I even have a compact car - The beds are very cheap. I needed a three inch foam pad to make it comfortable

Not a bad place, theyre on the expensive side with the size of the rooms and the low end "high quality luxury", when definitely the lowest bidder and cheapest material built this place. It's location is good and close to the school as well as places to eat. They do do some cool things such as free popcorn, but whenever you try handling an issue you kinda get the feeling they're more worried about their profits then doing right by their tenants. Also, being a prior cop, I talk to security on a regular basis and they have told me that they do report things on frequently reoccurring issues but feel as though management doesnt take them seriously. I will give them credit that things seem to be calming down and yelling and screaming with excessively loud late night parties has mellowed it seems. If I cared more too I would have also contacted the ADA about this apartment building. I notified them about my situation and offered to provide documentation, showed them the laws and even e-mailed everything to them. The business manager at the time Eric was really cool about it, offering all the help he could and said he forwarded it to Ashley which did nothing about it. It didn't affect me enough to care but they definitely violated ADA law by continuing to charge me for my service animal. Additionally, you will only pay for electric and heat but since the building wasn't properly insulated the amount to heat or cool you apartment can run up past the dollar amount for a house. Overall, the place isn't worth it unless you're a traditional college student and even that is a stretch. The manager, Ashley, is unprofessional and unpleasant to talk to; she always seemed to have a chip on her shoulder and was very rude when it came to handling things. I would recommend staying away from here unless you're young and into the party scene and don't understand good service yet. I'm sure I will get another email from her trying to scold me for this review, I tried working with her when I lived there but she was more hell bent on what she thought instead of hearing feedback on what was going on so I am resorting to the consumers best option when presented with poor service. Also the manager needs to quit parking in the handicapped spots, she's not handicapped....

If I could give this place a zero I would. We had two boys scheduled to live here- and the rug was pulled out from under them and they were left without a place to live- two weeks before school started. That's bad enough -- but the customer service ( or lack of it) is appalling . The Radius did this to two 18 year old boys- after already sending them move in information and giving them the unit number. They told them the unit they had been told was theirs- had mysteriously been rented within 30 minutes- but to help them out- there was another one available for over $200 more per month per student. They do not answer their phones- they have an answering service screen for them. Between my husband and I we called ten times- did not receive a call back-- or a response to one of many emails. It is disgraceful that they can treat people like that . What should have been a very exciting time for two college sophomores- has turned into a very stressful nightmare. As our kids said- "there are a lot of terrible people in the world- and I cant believe they would treat college students like that:" Very very frustrating.

Updating from my previous review this fall. Honestly was pretty bummed with this place by about October along with my roommates but after having posted a review and talked with management pretty much most of the issues that I mentioned have been addressed one way or another! Glad to see that they have continuously worked to improve the experience here! Still pretty nice apartments sometimes there is a maintenance issue here and there but the maintenance staff is super friendly and they seem to work pretty hard to be on time and get the job done right.. Has been an up and down experience with the security guards in different ways that people have talked about in the other reviews but I think the radius is currently taking the steps to fix that problem for everyone. Whether they hired new security or not I'm not sure, but I hope after their efforts the security is able to find a balance between way too strict and way too lenient in order to keep everyone happy. Overall pros: Two entrances, TV/nice furniture, straight shot to campus and multiple bus stops, pets allowed, easy rent payment, free food/promotions, decent lobby/common areas, friendly staff and responsive maintenance. Cons: have been some theft issues, sometimes seemingly unorganized management, beds could be nicer, slightly expensive, new but lower end appliances. Ultimately I am not resigning due to a hike in rent cost and wanting to live in a house but I think the experience has been pretty good for my first year out of the dorms.
