I moved into The Q a year ago and so glad I chose it over the newer complexes that are cheaply built with paper thin walls. Once you enter the apartment it is quiet and peaceful. The location is close to everything but a hidden gem off the main road. The staff is helpful and the property is well kept. I love the sconces that light the hallway and it feels like I am returning home to a luxury hotel. Residents clean up after their pets and are respectful to one another. Highly recommend.

(6/7/18) Did not know about the marijuana as posted from several months ago. The manager at that time is gone so maybe something did happen. Currently we have an issue with a neighbor in terms of noise and none of the emails we have sent have been answered. We have been here about 2 1/2 years and the main maintenance guy has been the only stable personnel. We will have our 4th manager so they last about 7 months, mostly young women who from my experience don't have all the skills it takes to run a property. The lady describing management is certainly correct in terms of response. So much of apartment living is the management actually helping solve problems and having good neighbors. With all of the choices for apartments coming in the next months here in Maitland, The Q is at best shaky to poor. Of course all the new places have yet to establish their reputations. I have had three managers all nice but not that effective when it comes to even the simplest things such as responding to emails for example. I have sent many that go unanswered. Although advertised as a luxury apartment, they are not luxury. One of their big selling points is that the walls are solid concrete so the apartments are quiet. A. Not all of the buildings are solid. B. I have heard from people in the solid wall buildings that you can still hear through the walls. A quiet apartment will depend on your neighbors. The appliances might look nice but they are cheap. We have had many problems with our AC. Our AC drip pan overflowed three times and flooded the area around the unit. It took them weeks to find the correct drain pipe to the outside when it was right where I said it was (Some of the drain pipes actually empty under ground level so they get blocked and need consistent vacumming. They have not been able to stop our faucets from dripping. The microwave has a hole in the inside shelf. We don't use it but they have not replaced it in 2 years. The storage units leak so make sure that you put valuables up off the floor. The storage rooms (some) have mold in them. The AC in the storage areas is not consistently on. The drain pipe outside our apartment is blocked. I had to spend my own money to provide a way for the water to drain away from the patio doors in the mildest of thunderstorms. I had to pay for sandbags during the hurricane. It was to be fixed but hasn't. The management has no recourse over neighbors who want to make noise late into the night or early morning hours. They suggest white noise machines, fans or ear plugs. The onsite police officer has little control. The cabana area which was in fairly good shape 2 1/2 years ago has deteriorated. It's hit or miss on propane. Some of the burners work, some don't. People put their trash out in the hallways and leave it there drawing cockroaches. Our building had a cat urine trail from one apartment all the way to the exit door and down the walkway for months before it was cleaned up even after multiple written and face to face requests. Nothing is perfect but before you choose this place make sure you go in with your eyes wide open. Someone said there are over 3000 new apartments going up in this area to choose from - a good reason not to live in this area.

The property is well kept. It is quiet. All working adults and some families. The apartments are very sound resistant. I can not hear...

The property is well kept. It is quiet. All working adults and some families. The apartments are very sound resistant. I can not hear the person above me or next to me. The office staff is AMAZING. They always come and fix everything and follow up with you to see if you need anything else. 3 years here and I can honestly say I could stay here another 10. The pool and grounds are always clean and the pool is never packed. The lounge is a great place to go if you need to get some work done. Very few times have I seen a lot of people in there. There is a small gym and same thing I have never had an issue getting equipment or too many people being there. Everyone, including the tenants are friendly and helpful. When the hurricane happened the tenants all checked on one another.
