I've been living here for 4 years and love it! It's kind of off the beaten path in a quiet neighborhood, but still within 5-10 of anything you need. I felt safe in the neighborhood when I would walk with my dog, even at night. The staff is wonderful and the maintenance crew attends to issues generally the same day you contact management. Highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I rented a 1BDR loft here and we had a great rental experience. We only lived here a short 5 months, because of having to move out of state, but it showed how great JSM is. They helped us sublet our apartment and were helpful throughout the entire process. We enjoyed living at Muir Heights because of the quiet area, central heat/AC, private entry and updated appliances. Not to mention this is the most pet friendly apartment we found in Madison. No cat rent, and no deposit for the cat. Anytime we had a maintenance request they were responsive and the request was completed within 24 hours. We highly recommend renting from JSM.
My washer continuously over flowed. My air conditioner leaked and the apt was expensive for what you got.
They told my boyfriend and I that we could put $100 down to hold the apartment and told us we could get it back...
They told my boyfriend and I that we could put $100 down to hold the apartment and told us we could get it back if we decided against it. We decided to put the money down since we would able to get it all back (the only reason why we agreed).The next day my boyfriend and I got an email telling us we had two days to sign the lease. We felt extremely pressured by this and were never told we only had two days to decide. My boyfriend went there the next day to tell them that we were unsure and to get the $100 back. She told him we could not get our $100 back and that they were keeping it. I have never even lived there and I can already say these people are NOT TRUSTWORTHY. Make sure to read the fine print and do not listen to what they tell you verbally.
