I would not recommend this property to anyone. I leased a unit at this location for two years. After the new Leasing manager started it took a turn for the worse. I never received an option to renew or a letter saying that I was not offered to renew and the date my lease would have ended. The property manager is impossible to reach and speaks very unprofessionally on the phone, never replies to voicemails, and has no clue what is going on in the building. When I moved out at one point I was contacted by the Manager who asked me how much I paid for my security deposit because she did not know. I never received a statement as to why I did not get a security deposit back or what the money was used for. Sadly this had potential to be a very nice residence but it is just poorly managed and maintained.

I have been here for two years. Can not wait till my lease is up in a few months so I can move. It was a nice place when I moved in. They allow so many dogs and pets that the building has become overly noisy. I have made several complaints about my neighbors dog who barks not stop up to 12 hours a day and not a single thing has ever been done. There is also never any follow up from the office or hardly ever anyone there for tenants needs. Its sad, like I said it was never like this when I first moved in.

Way too overpriced, I lived in a 2 bedroom-2 bath and thats $1700 rent every month. Theres only underground parking for amenities but again thats an additional $60. The only thing good is its dog friendly, however the field near the building to take your dog out quick isnt maintained whatsoever. You have to be careful where you step, dog poop is everywhere (its gross). And its only trimmed when the weeds are literally up to your knees. The gym downstairs is so noisy everyday, they move heavy equipment around and I can hear it all the way from the fourth floor! Everyone in the building is friendly though, always smiles. The manager is ok, not talkative or friendly. And theres not enough storage rooms for everyone. Anything extra like underground parking, having a dog, etc. is all extra fees you have to include with rent. You could rent a duplex or house for the price you pay every month here.

I love living here! The space is gorgeous and everything is brand new. The other tenants are mostly young adult professionals, all very kind and considerate of their neighbors. The price is unbeatable! I would pay well over 1500/month for this same space if I was living downtown, or Monroe St area, or the east side! The building is extremely secure and safe- at all times. There are even several cameras located in all areas of the building. This is by far the best place I've lived in Madison, and I've lived in every trendy neighborhood in this city. The best thing about this location, is that I am so close to all of those neighborhoods. It only takes a few minutes to get to each, given the close proximity to downtown and the beltline! I plan on staying at 2500 Rimock Lofts for several more years to come-I cannot think of one single reason that would convince me to leave, as I can't imagine calling anywhere else 'home'.
