This building could be nice but they keep it full of crackheads and heroin zombies. You would think that they would prefer working professionals but that seems to not be the case. Helen in the office is rude unless the new mgmt is present. She should retire if its too much to walk across the hall and get a package.

I have not lived here that long and i have problems in my apartment and tood them like 4 times about my air not working in my apartment and it so hot as well and my Kitchen stove don't have to back burners so i have to cook with just two of them ...... and there's always something bad happened here its like they dont even care about there people that they give apartment's to .... it all about the money i think because i shouldn't have to pay 675.00 in rent to live like this it too much for not to have everything that people Sign up to like on Everyone's lease

I can certainly verify that Kentucky Towers is an unacceptable place to live. The place looks a little cute, at first, right next to the Seelbach Hilton. Nice. However, I have visited my boyfriend here for three weekends, and there has been some kind of catastrophic cooling failure each time. I consider AC in the summer to be a basic human right to all who pay rent in Kentucky, at least those who are promised such an amenity. Management has been misleading, or entirely unresponsive with updates on the status of the busted AC. I appreciate the stylishly recovered lobby, and the beautiful, grand staircase to nowhere (except a terrifying musty fire-escape). Management staff might be doing the best they can, but it is simply not enough. I don't consider this a habitable facility, for any amount of money. Please avoid this building if you expect better than slum conditions.

We just moved in and we had to fight maintenance to fix a sewage leak in our bathroom. When they finally fixed that they refuse to fix the (needless) holes they put in our bathroom wall and ceiling. They lie about when they are coming back to fix things. Office staff is rude when you try to get them to fix issues or pick up a package. Most of the people in the building are druggies and that is who they want in because they dont care about the standard of living.

I helped my daughter move into this building in May 2014. The manager, Michelle, told us the apartment building had had problems in the past but was under new management and was doing well. 1. The air wasn't working on the 2nd day that she moved in. We called the emergency number and the guy came, DIDN'T EVEN SPEAK, added freon and left. 2. I visited my daughter in October 2014 and the hot water was out the ENTIRE weekend. 3. I'm currently visiting and the AIR ISN'T WORKING, it's 85 degrees in the apartment. 4. Earlier this month, May 2015, there was an ENTIRE WEEK WHEN THE AIR WASN'T WORKING These are only 4 of the problems that my daughter has encountered. I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS BUILDING.

This area is littered with aggressive homeless people. Cars get broken into all the time at the lot across the street. My car was stolen out of the connecting Seelbach garage by my NEIGHBOR and found a week later abandoned on Algonquin Prkwy. My apartment was broken into multiple times (I had police reports for each incident). There is NO SECURITY for this building...unless you count the disabled door man who hobbles over and allows anyone into the building. During my stay I upgraded from a one bdrm to a 2bdrm. Was told I had a few days to move from one to the other. Somehow the maintenance crew got wind of this and LITERALLY stole all my belongings thinking I had moved out and abandoned my flatscreen and laptops. It was returned to me after I attempted to file yet another police report. KY towers refunded me my 200$ apartment transfer fee to supplement this. Air conditioner always breaks down in conjunction with the elevators. Walking up ten floors to your apartment without AC is something you'll always remember. OPC Pest Control will walk into your apartment on a different day than you were informed. I was walking out of my shower nude when a grizzly man helped himself into my apt. I handed my key back to the office and stated I was moving out. I was done. KY Towers said no problem after I paid them $1,600 to break the lease. I laughed and BEGGED them to take this to court. They let me go without damaging my credit. Be warned and dont let the fancy lobby fool you.
